Heartless is the perfect title. Storm was definitely Heartless. She didn't follow rules, listen to nobody or even care what anybody had to say. If you're not familiar with the author's work you may not get it but I loved this story!

This was my first read by the author and I look forward to more. In this first read for me this author showed me his fondness of words and his excitement to weave a tale that had great depth. I truly recommend this book.

This book had me nerve decking since I started reading it. The way the author grasps the readers attention so cultivating. I love this book. I even grown to love the main character Storm I love her even though she’s so cold hearted. I love this book! Best book I’ve read this far !

Heartless is the latest literary effort by crime novelist Al-Saadiq Banks.
Readers are immediately introduced to main character Angelica "Storm" Hill who is definitely no angel as readers will soon realize.
Heartless tells the story of a young girl who always had to fight and now as an adult, she is still fighting but this time, it is for her freedom. Storm suffers from low self-esteem, but that does not stop her from creating havoc on anyone who ever crosses her.
This story was action packed from beginning to end and with sex,money, and murder being the main culprits, makes for the perfect components of a crime drama. Heartless is a fast-paced read that will leave you captivated and intrigued with the stories within the story, while even find yourself rooting for the "villain".
The author has cleverly put together a perfectly executed plot with superb character development that will keep you without a doubt engrossed. Even at the end of the novel, your mouth will be wide open as you shake your head in disbelief. Kudos Mr. Banks you have raised the bar and perfectly made a read enjoyable by all! 5 Stars!!!
