With the help of the widower Lincoln who has some secrets himself she just might be able to work out things and not allow her fears or her family consume her.
A great story with characters that range from quirky family members, surprise returns, desperate females and loads of passion. Well written, looking forward to more of the series.
***3.50 Stars*** The plot is very interesting; I still found it a little lackluster. Audrey has been through so much; she been to hell and back and survived. Audrey is amazingly strong and has really good instincts and with time hopefully she can heal. Lincoln carries a lot of guilt and sadness so it makes him keep to himself and not really opens up. Lincoln himself has a past he doesn't share with many but Audrey helps him try too. Can Audrey and Lincoln help one another heal? Will they let one another in and find their happy ending as they face their pasts together? ***ARC from Author for review***
Audrey has been through so much. She went through hell and survived so to me she has a right to take time to heal. Her family doesn’t really understand and instead of trying they make it harder. Her sister I think needs to grow up. She pushes and thinks her life is more important than anyone else. She is sweet but she also needs to see beyond. Both brothers try and are great as well but don’t get it. Audrey is strong and amazing. I love her instincts and I agree with her about the woman who saying she is her aunt and the daughter. Everyone else accepts her. But there is more to it than meets the eye and if there is another book I think we will see it. I think we will see the deception and greed that this woman is and has. She is up to something and I look forward to seeing Audrey proven right. Lincoln is awesome. He carries guilt and sadness but Audrey helps him as he helps her. They are able to heal each other and love one another. They let go of demons and respect and support each other. This is their journey. They have serious chemistry and steam up the pages with the attraction and intimacy. He helps Audrey feel safe and let go. She helps him let go and forgive himself. They help each other move on and this is their sweet sexy story. The story flows easily and you in with its warmth and understanding. They fall for each other quickly but it works for them because of all they have been through. A wonderfully sweet story of acceptness, finding someone who makes you feel safe and loved and moving on. Of finding the one who completes you and makes you feel safe and like you are the one and only one. The characters bring you into their world and invests into their lives as you watch them find themselves and find love with one another.
