I was very excited for Kyle's book, he was such a great guy and even though he didn't end up with Charlie I was hoping we would get to see his HEA. We caught a glimpse of what was in store for him in Fall and it made me laugh. The back and forth between him and Kinleigh was erksome. I do like that they finally pulled their heads out fairly early on and it was more of a them versus others type of situation. I kind of like those kinds of stories. I kind of saw the drama in this book coming from the get go but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it. There were a couple of events that surprised me and one that just point blank scared me that my HEA wasn't going to be what I expected. Either way this was a fun series and I loved the little twist in the epilogue. Hope you enjoy the series as well.

I have loved this gang since I picked up Crash so long ago. In Wreck we finally get Kyle's story and I could have loved it any more if I tried. Everything between Kyle and Kinleigh was perfect. The road may not have been smooth, but seeing everyone in this extended "family" get their happy endings was amazing.
Thank you Karen and Stacey for sharing these stories with us. I can't wait to see what is next.

Well written new adult romance between a bartender and his boss’ daughter

Wreck is the first book I have read by Stacey Brandon & Karen Bell and I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed this new adult romance between a bartender and his boss’ daughter; the theme may be seen as common but I found the book was unique in terms of it’s plot, the writing style, and the characters, and I will definitely keep an eye out for more by these authors.

Told through dual points of views, Kyle and Kinleigh had an irresistible chemistry, even though there is a slight age difference with Kyle being a few years older than Kinleigh. However, you can tell these two are perfect for each other and I especially loved seeing both their relationships with Kinleigh’s father Ronan. Kinleigh is a recent graduate and cupcake baker (who knew cupcakes could be involved in leading to sexy moments!) and although she has only just moved home to be with her father, has a history with Kyle that added a nice foundation to their quickly heating relationship. The secondary characters in the book also added another dimension to the two main characters and exploring their emotions and histories.

Wreck is a well written new adult boss’ daughter romance with a steady to fast pace and good flow to the book. I really liked the writing style which could transition from playful and sexy to serious easily. There is a nice balance of drama mixed in with the romance which actually made me fall for Kyle’s character more as the hero. While Wreck is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone as the book focuses on Kinleigh and Kyle’s relationship with just enough detail regarding sub-characters to inform new readers to the previous books’ characters. There is a sweet ending and HEA for Kinleigh and Kyle that will leave you with a smile on your face.

Overall, I enjoyed this book and would recommend it.

Wreck is the third and final book in the Crash series and just like the other two before it, I loved it! The Brandon-Bell writing duo needs to get more recognition for their writing style and storytelling skills. They write some seriously funny, hot, sexy, relatable books. I have followed them since book one and will continue to follow their work in the future. When I try to think who their writing style reminds me of, all I come up with is one name, cough, "Tara Sivec" cough, cough. I know it isn't the smartest thing to post another author's name in a review, but seriously...GO and ONE CLICK this series!!!!

Kyle has spent several years behind the bar and working toward his business degree. He would love more than anything to own his own bar one day. He enjoys his job and has found a father figure in bar owner Ronan. Things have worked out so well for him that he is now the assistant manager. The last thing he needs to complicate his job or even jeopardize it is the young, beautiful Kinleigh.

A jolt of hot desire hits me like a sucker punch. Easily the most beautiful woman I’ve ever known, she always has this effect on me, regardless of how many times I’m around her. I’m convinced I’ll go the rest of my life without ever seeing her equal.

“Hey, Kyle.” Soft and sweet, poured over confidence and determination, her voice slams against my resolve. I know firsthand she isn’t timid when she wants something.

She is off limits, something she has a hard time understanding. Just the thought of what Ronan would do to him if he ever laid a hand on his daughter is enough to keep Kyle away, no matter how strongly he feels about the girl. Deny, deny, deny...that is what he tells himself about his feelings for Kinleigh.

Kinleigh knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it. She has had her sites set on Kyle for a while now and knows that he feels something too, no matter how hard he tries to fight it. Fresh out of college Kinleigh's really has no plans, so moving in with her dad seems like the next logical step. She can work in the bar, gain some experience and make a plan for her future. One that hopefully has her owning a bakery. If there is one thing that Kinleigh can do and do well, that is making cupcakes. Working in close proximity to Kyle is just one of the perks to waiting tables in her dad's bar.

Kinleigh and Kyle are off the charts awesome. The banter, tension and chemistry is great. The story flows well and has just the right amount of hilariousness and sex appeal. I love that we get to see how past relationships from the first two books play out. Having all the previous characters makes the book that much more enjoyable. So, go grab your copy of Wreck today and while you are at it, grab copies of Crash and Fall as well. This series is one of my Top 10 favs of all time!

4* read.

Wreck is the third and last book in the Crash series and I'm really glad we got Kyle's story after seeing him in the first to books I couldn't wait to get stuck into his story. When Kinleigh comes along she knows what she wants and that's Kyle, only problem is she's off limits to Kyle so this leads to a lot of sexual tension and chemistry. I loved the banter between the two of them and enjoyed seeing how they developed throughout the book. Another great read.

I was so glad we were getting bartender Kyle's story, we met him in the two previous books The Crash and The Fall. I couldn't put it down. The characters Kyle and Kinleigh were likeable and realistic. Kyle tries to fight his feelings for Kinleigh especially since she is the man who's like a father to him daughter. I loved seeing what past characters were up to. Wreck is a great story.
