Rate this book

Grotesque desecration of bodies in sacrifice to an insane, infantile being, a parallel narrative to an emerging tender love. Good characterizations, good translations and a wonderful first novel. Will look for more.

It was readable and enjoyed how it interwove the characters. Some eye rolling moments. `Writes in about men & women like Salman Rushdie (not a compliment)

An unfortunate pastiche that seems a Dario Argento-like story gone awry mixed with a cheap romance novel; irritatingly overwritten and laced with a few unnecessary disgusting passages.
