{My thoughts} – I’ve come to love these Eerie Elementary books. In this one Sam’s class ends up getting a substitute teacher. The teacher ends up being a relative of Orson Eerie the guy that possesses the school.
The three hall monitors Sam, Lucy and Antonio discover the new substitute is actually on their side. Because of this the four of them work together to try and undo what Orson Eerie had done all those years ago that had allowed him the ability to make the school come alive.
If you’d like to know what happens you’ll need to read the book. Like the previous books in the series, I found it to be very much engaging for the reader. I look forward to reading more books in this series in the future.
I recommend this book for any beginner reader that is interested in slightly scary stories.
A substitute teacher takes over for Sam, Antonio, and Lucy's third grade classroom. With a terrible unsettled feeling, the trio realize the substitute looks familiar. He looks exactly like Orson Eerie—the mad scientist that had made the school come alive and was trying to come back to life himself! Was he really Orson Eerie somehow? Was he Orson Eerie's grandson? Was he a zombie? Will he be a help or a hindrance to their efforts to keep the school from eating the students or preventing Orson Eerie from coming back to life? In this sixth book of the Eerie Elementary series, Sam and his friends try to remove Orson Eerie from the school. When this doesn't go according to plan, the trio have to use whatever supplies they can find in the art room to survive yet another encounter with their nemesis.
What a twist! My child really liked speculating about this books as we read. Who is Jasper Eerie, will the machine work, is it going to be over?
But, as I have said, he vocalized "there are only 10 of these books, right , Dad?" Not sure if he meant it as I want more, or I want this to wrap up tidyily.
I think this book was the best book in the series so far. This book was better than the other books in the series because part of the scene was also OUT of Eerie Elementary. Overall, I think it was a pretty good book.
I enjoyed this book because I liked the part when Sam, Antonio, Lucy, and Jasper Eerie finally finished a machine to separate Orson Eerie from Eerie Elementary. I did not like this book because I do not like Orson Eerie.
This book was a really good one. The end was really good. It was pretty freaky to hear Orson Eerie talk as the school. A new character, Jasper is a pretty cool dude and his great- great grandfather was Orson Eerie. I don't know why Jasper is good and Orson's bad.
" It was a good book I definitely recommend it if you like action with a little mystery. " - My 8 year old son loves this book series. Great for all ages.
