Hunter March and his creator friends get honest about what they got right---and more often what they got wrong--in 51 True Story Collabs. Featuring stories from Alex Aiono, Jenn McAllister, Meg DeAngelis, Lauren Elizabeth, The Merrell Twins, Claudia Sulewski, Andrew Lowe, Aspyn Ovard, Cimorelli, Rebecca Black, Ryan Abe, Alexis G. Zall, Rickey Thompson, Meghan Tonjes, Maddy Whitby, Monica Sherer, Lex Lee, and Aija Mayrock. Hunter March has made a career out of interviewing creators about their lives all while putting his own life on the internet too. But what happens when the cameras turn off? Crushes turn to relationships and parents get divorced. Friendships are made and hearts are broken. Tests get flunked and dreams come true. Sometimes creators' real lives happen off-screen, and in 51 True Story Collabs, they happen on the page. With thousands of videos and millions of views, it might seem like they've got all the answers. But no one knows it all, so they've collabed to get a little closer to figuring it out. Because TBH, growing up is tough and sometimes you need a little help from your friends.
I only bought/read this because I like Aspen Ovard but once i started reading i found out there was so many more youtubers that i know and it was interesting getting a sneak peeks into their lives.
¨So if your're feeling like its the end of the world, keep going.¨(pg.252) Tbh is written and narrated by Hunter March famous host of awesomeness TV. This book is full of collab stories of multiple famous and smart you tubers who share their stories and make you feel like there the same as you. Some writers in the book are named, Meg Deangelis, Aspyn Ovard, Alex Aiono, The Merrell Twins and many more. A great quote said by Lauren Elizabeth on page 171, ¨Life is about love.¨ This describes how many should look at love instead of being so caught up with relationships between a boy and girl. I recommend this book if you want to gain self confidence and be amazed by how you can relate with these people.
This book is so good. Loved this book because it talks about real youtubers how lives were not always perfect. For instance Hunter March (the author of this book) had just started middle school(6th grade) his parents were divorced and so his real dad said he could have a birthday party. So he wanted to invite all of his "friends" and his middle school crush. He told them the destination and the time it started. people did not show up and was sad. later on his 21st birthday he did the same thing and one by one cars started to show up. See this tells you that all famous people also struggled as kids and they were not always perfect or the "cool" kid(s) in school. I shall not say no more but maybe your favorite youtube is in here. read to find out. I also rated this book 5 STARS!!
I only read this book because they had the Merrell Twins in it(Bc they are dabomb.com) but it was surprisingly good. I did not expect this book to be funny or have me going like wow that sucks or any type of emotion I expected it to be a quick read BUT IT WAS SO GOOODDDDDDD.read it when ur feeling down
I picked this book up for a specific creator that I am a fan of and I don't think I've heard of any of the others, but it was still a decent read. There is just something about reading stories from the people who lived them and getting to hear what they experienced and learned from those moments. So while only one of the stories really connected with me I don't regret buying it and getting to hear all the other stories. It's a unique project that has the potential to do a lot of good for many people and that's a great thing.
This book is about 18 Youtubers that share the stories, expiations, relationship, drama. They also tell you how they faced theses problems and got over them. This book also tells you how they faced problems and if your having any problems like these how to faced them.

I’m so old I don’t know who any of the contributors are (YouTubers), but the pieces were honest and sweet, and I think this is a great piece of nonfiction to add to the classroom library.
