In book three of the Tales of Sasha series, Sasha makes friends with one of the flying horses, but will she forget about her better-than-best friend Wyatt?
Sasha and her better-than-best friend Wyatt have successfully made the journey beyond the trees that line their valley to discover Crystal Cove, a land where other flying horses live! Sasha is very excited to get to know these flying horses, and she makes friends with a spunky flying horse named Kimani. But Kimani is unsure of Wyatt since he doesn't have wings, and Wyatt is anxious to get home to Verdant Valley. Can Sasha figure out a way to make her friends get along?
The Tales of Sasha series continues to be a high interest series with my second grader. In this book, the reader learns more about Sasha and her origins, and Sasha is befriended by Kimani, another flying horse. Sasha must learn how to balance her new friendship with Kimani with her old friendship with Wyatt. Lessons about friendship are learned in and Sasha makes a great observation when she states, "we all have something that makes us special."
Another good book in the series, but I knocked a star off for the plant pixies giving both my 4y olds a bad dream last night. I didn’t think they were going to be frightened by them but apparently they were. We read the next book in the series today and I think it’s going to be ok. The next book is called The Plant Pixies, though, so we’ll see. 🤷🏼♀️
3.5 stars. I liked the message of friendship in this book. Wyatt and Sasha are in the land of flying horses and Wyatt starts to feel jealous. Sasha has to make the choice to follow him and be loyal or stay with the new flashy friends. She follows Wyatt, but her new friend Kimari also follows her. These books all end on cliffhangers!
Another cute story from the Sasha series. In this one, Sasha discovers other flying horses. Oddly enough, they all seem to know her, even though she has never met them before.
