He saved her once and let her go. He saw her again, but this time, he will not let her go...
Olivia Crane always had a strange fascination with the unknown and after being kidnapped at the ripe age of four by monsters she believed only existed in her nightmares; her fascination became an obsession…
When her Editorial firm covers the story of local disappearances, Olivia begins to form a connection between her own kidnapping and the missing girls. Determined to uncover the truth, she sets out to investigate, only to stumble across her savior, Quinn Savage, the man who rescued her over twenty years ago—a man who hasn’t aged a day since.
Quinn could very well be the missing connection Olivia has been looking for, but the more time she spends with him, the more difficult it is to focus on the task at hand. He is irresistible with the body of a God, the attitude of royalty, and deep eyes that carry secrets she so desperately wants to unlock. But as she soon discovers, secrets come at a price, one that both Quinn and Olivia may very well have to pay.
Author Note: The story contains strong sexual & violent themes/language and is not intended for readers under the age of 18.
I received this as an arc from Angel. I voluntarily decided to review the book. This is my honest review. My oh my what a book! I've not read many books about vampires but what a series to start to delve deeper into them with! I was drawn in from the start I just couldn't put it down, a few chapters turned into a book which turned into the series. You feel the connection Olivia had to Quinn and then you realise why. He'd saved her when she was a girl, she thought the dreams/ nightmares were just that nightmares where a prince saves her, then she's face to face with her Prince charming and doesn't know what to do or how he can be real when he's in her nightmares. It doesn't take long for her to connect him and the harsh reality of it not being a nightmare. I loved this book, it pulls at your heart, still liking Quinn even though you know what he is, there is just something about him that makes you like him. This book has your emotions all over the place knowing right from wrong but still there's something there that makes your heart skip when reading about Quinn. You have such a range of emotions even in one page going from loving and feeling happy to feeling defeated but still hoping that all will end well against all the odds. I think Angels writing style is great, you can really believe in what she's writing about, it seems like it could happen. You feel as if you are okay if it does and feel yourself wishing that it could really happen! I liked the way she goes back in time to explain things so you understand them easier and have a glimpse at what Quinn went through for all those years from when he was turned. Olivia wants to help him but he won't let her and keeps her shut out trying to protect her but he should know being a journalist taught her a lot! She can tell he's hiding something but she needs to know, it can't be any worse than she thinks it is can it? I'd definitely recommend this book it keeps you on the edge for the whole book never knowing what's going to happen next. I felt every emotion possible with this book. I can't wait to read more from her. This is definitely a genre and style I'll be reading more of after finishing this book, I'll definitely read it through again to see if I missed anything the first time around and I know I'll enjoy it just as much as the first time I read it. Angel has got a rare talent and imagination sadly lacking in a lot of authors these days they just throw out one book after another without really giving them much thought, I love reading from up and coming authors so much more than a that have thrown out hundreds of books that are all basically the same with no thought it feelings out into them. You can tell she's put everything of herself into this book, she has thought about it how it's worded then twists and turns weaving perfectly together making it flawless as utterly brilliant.
I had never read anything by Angel Falls before. So I was not completely sure what this series was about. The title told me vampires, but is was a lot more than that. Olivia life was kind of messed up when she was kidnapped as a child by vampires that wanted to use her as food. But one of the vampires lets her go and she gets back to her mother. But years later she crosses path with the same vampire. Quinn has always had a thing for Olivia, but there are many things standing in their way of being together. Victor is one of this things. If you want all the details you are going to have to grab a copy and find out.
Pro: I really liked the love between Olivia and Quinn. I enjoyed reading their story and how Quinn was alpha but soft with Olivia. This story had romance, sex, and violence. Cons: it was finished at 48% and there were a few ( very few) errors. After the book ended there were a few chapters of other stories by this author. I am expecting the other books to have the same but need to finish the series, good thing the books are .99 cents.
Wow.I love Vampire Romance. If we all had a vampire to love wow.The story was great and will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time you are reading it.Please ,pick up a copy of this book.Vampires are sexy.
Very enjoyable vampire love story. But ended with a cliffhanger. Can’t wait to read the next book. Can’t believe he feel in love with her when she was a child and protected her all these years.
