Matteo Maddox searched for a mate for more than four centuries. The last century has given way to a desperation to feel alive again. But when his wolf is running from his latest demolition assignment, he finds her. Her scent stops him dead in his tracks.The summer has been terrible for Caroline. Her parents kicked her out and since then she's been homeless all because she doesn't want to be a lawyer. Things go from bad to worse when a hulking giant pulls her from her tent by her feet in the middle of the night and throws her into a van full of camouflaged soldiers who won't speak. Caroline knows she can't escape the van full of soldiers and she's not sure that she wants to escape the one gazing at her like she's dessert.

I actually liked it! When I first started I was confused by what was going on so I continued to read it and it was interesting. Matteo is a werewolf shifter who has been searching for his mate for centuries when he is doing a job he sniffs her out and knows she was meant to be his. Carlyon is kicked out with no money nothing leaving her to live out on the streets when she is taken back to Matteo's house there is something about him that leaves her feeling safe only she is a bit uncertain. Matteo lets her go but plans to have her running back to him but she still no sure what her feelings mean and she was scared to meet Matteo's wolf. They go through so much but the one thing Matteo is certain of is that she belongs with him and does everything in his power to let her know plus keeping her safe.

I like the book it has a great story it shows about someone else caring about a stranger then finding his mate a book you don't want to put down

It was pretty cool story. Some sexy scenes were good for my imagination. I hope brandt gets story too. I love front cover too.

Great book
I love Mateo in the way he care for Carolyn . I love Brent and the fact that there were packets to . But most importantly I love the fact that her stepfather got we had coming in the in . Your books are so interesting in characters have so much depth that I love it cannot wait for your next book.
