I read the free sample and had some trouble with the scenario depicted in the first story Claimed by Darcy.

The first time that Darcy and Elizabeth meet they dance together. After the dance ends he pulls her by the hand and walks her out of the ballroom so "she could not get traction enough to plant her feet and stop him." None of the people they pass by do anything to help her. He takes her into a side room, kisses her and when she moans he takes it as his cue to put his hand on her privates. Apparently she orgasms and then he initiates intercourse. Not asking her if it's ok or anything, he just does. The room isn't locked so anyone could come in and see them in flagrante. Then he declares that they will marry. Again, never asking her anything, just stating it as a fact. When her father finally objects Darcy declares that she will henceforth live with him, starting the same night and says, "I want her available to me at all times." A lot of sex is to follow and she's awake MOST of the time. (Where I'm from, intercourse with a sleeping partner would be criminal.) He does not care for Caroline Bingley's objections either although they're living in her home. Elizabeth already has morning sickness 15 days after they met, which seems a bit premature, her period might not even be late yet, even if he knocked her up the first thing.

Elizabeth is aroused by this Darcy but I felt a bit violated. At no point did he care about anyone else's feelings, desires, opinions, or consent. He wants it he takes it. This was all very Me Darcy You Sex Now.

This is the end of the free sample and where I stopped reading. I have a broad tolerance of various degrees of steamy but in my book, sexual assault is not hot.

Saucy yet repetitive

Although many of the stories were nicely plot oriented there was a lot of repetition regarding the couple’s amorous experiences. I read all the short stories but toward the last ones read faster as it was the same middle and ending. Would have been better to write one or two with a longer story though admit it would be difficult which story should be longer.

Naughty and nice

A steamy, sexy little collection of variations inspired by author Jane Austen’s classic novel Pride and Prejudice. Short but fun stories.

Short, sexy, fun

This bundle of short stories are hot and sexy. They make me wish for a Darcy of my own. I wish this author would release more titles. I love a steamy variation. Especially if the steam level is through the roof. Five stars for sexy fun.

This is as close to Porn Without Plot that I think you will ever see. I'm all for some steam, but we need more than ridiculous 'plots' and OOC behaviors. Seriously the only thing that kept it from being a 1 star was the enjoyment category in my CAWPILE.
