Jane M. Choate dreamed of writing from the time she was a small child when she used to entertain her friends with made-up stories. Her true writing career began when she penned a story for a children’s magazine, sent it in on a whim, and found, to her delight, that it was accepted. Someone was paying her to write! The story is good, although there are some big holes in this. As a non-believer in organized religion, the Christian inspirational bits did not appeal, especially as they seemed more shoved in than a part of the story. So, take that with a grain of salt.

Jane is a fairly new author to LIS and I have become very fond of her writing. This book is well written, action packed. and fast paced. Faith is interwoven throughout the entire story, I know you are going to love it.
Attorney Olivia Hammond goes to her office to return a file but interrupts two men ransacking the office. She is attacked by the men and is told that if she gives them what they wants they might kill her quickly. The secretary comes in and pulls the fire alarm so the men run off. Not having a clue what the men are after she calls her ex to come be her bodyguard. He no more than arrives when she is called and told that her boss has been kidnapped and the first order is to tell no one. How can she save her boss when Salvatore is by her side at all times?
Ex-Delta Soldier Salvator Santonni is now working for S&J Security/Protection. When he receives Olivia's call he drives all night to come to rescue Olivia, the only woman he has ever loved. Sal is determined to keep Olivia safe even when she tires to get him to back off. Her safety is his prime concern.
Sal was unable to forgive himself for his past; Olivia is trusting in the Lord, can she bring Sal back to the God? God has a plan for these two, a plan of restoration. God has a plan for you too. Give God your heart and trust Him to turn your life around.

This book was full of twists and turns that you were not expecting. From start to end, the action kept you on the edge of your seat. Salvatore Santonni has seen--and done--some questionable things in his time as a Delta solider for the U.S. Army. He thinks he's beyond repair. But Olivia Hammomd shows him, proves to him that he's a hero. As the killer closes in, Sal realizes he'd do anything to keep Olivia safe, even if it means risking his own life.
