Falling For My Muse

Rate this book
When Raven arrived in portrait class for the beginning of her assessment she only had one thing on her mind; getting an “A”, but as the class model took her pose, all that began to change.

A short story of lesbian discovery…

More than a month had passed since Raven split with her college boyfriend and she finally felt things were moving along. Fine art was her only real chance of getting an “A” and she was determined to come top of the class. But today she was distracted. Utterly distracted.

Professor Clarke had the class paint hundreds of girls over the years, many fully nude. This model sat with her back to the artists looking over her shoulder. It was modest pose compared to many the class had painted yet Raven stood, brush in hand and stomach full of nerves, barely able to look past her easel.

“Why was I so nervous? I made eye contact with the models plenty of times, but I didn’t retreat behind my easel like a child hiding behind her mother’s leg. I peeked around the easel, and the same golden eyes met my gaze. She was smiling. Smiling at me.”

As the class comes to an end Raven is stressed and questioning her sexuality. Looking at her progress, she realises she has no chance of getting an A, unless she cheats. So with the class clearing out and Professor Clarke distracted, Raven decides to smuggle her painting home and do some extra work on it, alone. But her muse has other ideas…

Warning: this is a 'college' young adult story and contains mature sexual content. Suited for +17 YA readers.

Falling For My Muse (A Short Story of Lesbian Classroom Discovery) by Alex B. Porter was published in 2016 with 20 pages. Discovering your real sexuality in the arms of another is amazing. This was hot and excellent. I believe Raven’s heterosexual phase just ended. Fun, erotic short read. 4-stars.

Felt like would be a decent read but then after the 1st page it turned into a book about illegal drugs instead of erotica author should be locked up for promoting illegal drugs "straight edge for life"
Pros
The nudity mentioned was good and the painting scenes before drugs where mentioned.
Cons
Characters addicted to illegal drugs
Book focused on illegal drugs instead of erotica
Promoting illegal drugs
Trying to say the northern lights are drugs when they're in fact a tourist attraction in Scandinavia.

Falling with the Muse

Raven is trying to get that A in art. She is starting her portrait of the beautiful model. She has decided the only way to complete the requirement is to smuggle her painting home and finish capturing the beautiful muse.
Anya, the muse, captures Raven's eye. She wants nothing more than to make Raven's college experience one to remember. Following Raven, she takes a chance on something more transpiring.
The author did a great job with imagery in this story. Every brush stroke was as vivid as every touch. Overall if you are looking for a short story that packs a good bit into it, then I'd recommend this one. It's a nice little taste into something more. I probably would have loved having a whole story by this author. For me this short story wasn't enough.
I will be honest, there really isn't any plot to the story. Just one college student following another home to have some fun. Cute read and I found it a nice break to read in between some heavier things.

Water sports enthusiasts...

Water sports enthusiasts get ready for the voyage of your life. Some small possible pee action ensues.unfortunately this story contains references to The Drugs, which I do not think is appropriate in high brow literature such as this. Even so, I grew fond of the character of Doris.

When I picked this up I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not, even though I love short stories.... This was nicely written with a decent plot. The spice level was amazing. The only thing I didn't personally care for was the drug use. That's not my thing so I was turned off by it. Aside from that it was hot. If you're looking for a well written f/f shorts story this is definitely it. Don't miss out.

THE HOTTEST BEAUTIFUL MODEL BECOMES THE ARTIST!!!

The GIRL who sat in front of the classroom was unbelievably beautiful with NO blemishes! As the ARTIST painted her she fell in LOVE 💘 with her beauty. She wanted ONLY to paint and be with this GIRL!

Things evolved, but you'll have to get this book to find out HOW!!!

Excellent!

This is a very steamy short story about an artist charmed and seduced by the nude female model from her art class. As a first writing venture, it entices me to read more from this author.
