Cute, simple book about a mouse named Patrick who is oblivious to the dangers around him. My boys (who are ages 5 and 3) love this book. They love to yell "Look out, Patrick" when something is about to happen to him. They love to feel like they are a part of the story. :)

This story was wonderful! It was about a mouse wondering on his way home when he is almost attacked by multiple critters. It is an exciting book to young kids; I read it to my 4 year old cousin and his eyes grew when the book became suspensful when a different animal like a snake tried to get to him. As Patrick the mouse continues on his journey he does not notice the other animals at all, not once. Each animal experiences some triumph to them after they try to grab Patrick, sort of like a lesson of karma for children. Overall, a great story!

I loved this book as a child as well as the authors other books. When I was younger I meet him twice and both times he was such a lovely man and he even remembered me because I was the only person he had ever met with my name. Great story and can't wait to past this on to my younger cousins.
