Elvis: Lonely Star at the Top

Rate this book
Fame and wealth could not buy what Elvis needed most ...

Elvis Presley didn't invent loneliness, but he was lonely all his life.
At birth he lost a brother, and grew up an only child.
In death, he was surrounded more by luxury and extravagance than friends.
He became a prisoner of his own popularity,
separated from those who really loved him by necessity.
Marriage failed him, friends disappointed him.
He was still a star, still an idol,
and he loved us as much as we loved him,
but there was no personal way to say that.
He was a decent man who endured the saddest pain of all ...
being lonely in a crowd.

Another book about Elvis, which seems to repeat the same storyline as the many others I have read. Nothing really stands out that is better than any of the other books that have been written and released.
All about the Author seeking fame and fortune from a very talented and popular man.
