Bryn and Cale have been through hell and back together, but do they have what it takes to last forever? Cale has been out of rehab and sober for a year. He wants to take the next step with Bryn, but not before Everlasting goes on their first tour in nearly two years. He knows the temptation of pain killers will be there, and Bryn is finding it hard to trust that he won't relapse. But when Bryn gets a phone call that changes her life, the emotions of everyone in the band are tested. She is questioning what her heart wants, and whether she should be with her family, or the band. Book Five in the Straight from the Heart Series.
Well we finally get to continue with Cale and Bryn's story one year after Cale is released from rehab. Can Cale continue on the straight and narrow so to speak or will he fall into the wrong path once again. If he falls again will Bryn continue to be there for him or will she have to call it quits once and for all? I love Cale and Bryn and have always pulled for them to be together. They have been through so much together you want nothing more for them to succeed in everything. However they face many challenges along the way. This is the story of Bryn and Cale one year after rehab but also of their band finally getting back on the road for a tour. Will a tour be too much for Cale to handle? My heart has broken over the course of the previous 4 books for Bryn she never seemed to catch a break. I loved this book. I will say there were times I wanted to reach into the pages and choke some of the characters but that's what makes a good book right? Loved this story can't wait to read what this author may have coming for us in the future.
