Science & greed mix for a pretty good read. Two guys get lost in the Amazon, one comes out with an anti aging med. Later a dissatisfied ER Doctor is hired to promote the drug after FDA approval. Then it gets complicated.
Better than expected. 3.6 but I can not give it a 4.

Found this book at a used book store and loved it. Anxious to read more books by Ms. Fisher. The storyline excellent; the characters believable.

I just recently found this author and have since went back and purchased almost all of her back list. Side Effects so far is my favorite though I've rated everyone a 5 star. As the cover and blurbs say, she writes in a Robin Cook genre and does it really really well.

Amazing that a 19 year old book can still be considered as "ripped from the headlines"!
