Rate this book
This novel contains strong language and depicts graphic scenes of violence and sexuality. Almost A Proverb is a riveting examination of the human condition that takes the reader on an amazing journey through the jungles of Vietnam, and the psyche of a cynical grunt nicknamed "Crazy." This coming of age story is deeply provocative, horrifying, erotic, electric, and at times downright funny. Epic!! Great read by an author that truly knows how to keep you entertained and involved in his story. Read this! You won’t be sorry!

This one is worth a second read. I am 1/2 way through the book again and am finding more and more details regarding how humanity deals with the horrors of certain realities.
