The Weiss Strande Hotel is in trouble. Business just isn't what it used to be when Tyler’s father ran the family-owned hotel. On top of business being down, dad's sick with cancer and bills have skyrocketed.

Desperate to save his family interest, Tyler and his best friend sink their hopes and what's left of their money into a new venture: a nightclub at the hotel. It's imperative that the White Room is a success, or else the hotel will go under. Lady Luck seems to be with them, however, because they manage to sign the mega-popular rock group Heaven Sent to play the grand opening.

Already a huge fan of the group, Tyler couldn't be more excited to welcome them to his hotel. He's not at all prepared for the bomb of lust that hits him when he's finally face-to-face with the painfully gorgeous lead singer, Johnnie Heaven. No, it couldn't be lust. Yes, Johnnie's probably the most beautiful person he's ever seen, but Tyler is straight. It must be a misguided form of hero worship that he's feeling.

Tyler finds out that he and Johnnie share an obsession: video games. When Johnnie invites Tyler to his room to play, Tyler jumps at the chance. Who wouldn't snap up the opportunity to spend time with their idol? He and Johnnie have a great time with the games, but Tyler soon discovers that Johnnie's got more in mind. The rock star aims to introduce Tyler to a whole new level of game play.

This will sound obnoxious as fuck, but w.e. I haz good brainz.

Sometimes I really wish I didn't know anything.

Most of the time I'm grateful, you know, for knowing that

* rock stars detest travel;

* staying in a different hotel every night can be painfully disassociative and psychologically exhausting;

* most rock stars are—for whatever reason—very, very short;

* and that there's no real money in pop music until you tour, which is hell, and takes two years if you're really popular, and usually doesn't leave you with 10 hours of your day free to wait for your hotel manager to join you in your richly-appointed suite to play video games until he's drunk enough for you to seduce him, but not too drunk to sign a seventy-page Non-Disclosure Agreement that prohibits him from posting your dick pictures to reddit.

But sometimes I wish I didn't know any of that at all, so I could just sit back and let the pretty people in the pretty story walk around being pretty and saying glamorous things at one another.

[two minutes later]

Ooh, a Ramones tee! Cool!

For me, this story just felt unbelievable and not in the 'suspend reality and go with it' sort of way.

Warning for spoilers---

First, I want to say that I think non-com and questionable con can be sexy as hell. But in this book, no one- not the author, or Tyler, no one felt it was bad to act in this way. The way this was handled by the author ended up ruining it for me.

This is the way I see this story: Rockstar forces himself on a straight guy when he learns straight guy may be a bit curious and attracted to him. This is greeted, after the rape, with acceptance from straight guy because he needed to see that he was gay. When straight guy who is now not-so-straight gets his feelings hurt by the rockstar, he is forced to give in and fucked to make sure he doesnt forget he's gay. Not-so-straight-guy's father dies and rockstar shows up at the wake. They find an empty office down the hall and decide sex and a shower is much more important than a memorial service. Not-so-straight-guy then decides that because he is sexually attracted to the rockstar and they both like the same video game that they are in love. THE END

I guess I'm the only one from my flist who hates this story *shrugs*. There is a reason why I'm not really fond of GFY theme, when the story is like this one.

When is "No" means "No" in M/M? If it's a woman and she says "No" and the guy is pushing it, it becomes rape, right? And here in this story, I clearly remember Tyler says "No" over and over again, and the cocky, arrogant, Johnny just pushes it. Doesn't that border of rape? And Luc pushing a sexual advance to make Tyler feels uncomfortable, isn't that bordering to sexual harrassment?

Sorry if I sound like I'm preaching a moral issue. Honestly, I can accept it if the story is about BDSM or D/s theme because it is common that non consentual sex happens. ... but this is NOT what I want to read in my ROMANCE. Even for a GFY theme, I prefer both men come with understanding about what they're going to go through. Here, I don't feel so. Plus there is this one scene where Tyler is facing a tragedy in his family, and Johnny acts like a bastard.

Am I supposed to believe that Johnny loves him, then? Sorry, but no, I don't buy it. I don't feel the love or the tenderness, in fact I feel sorry for Tyler because he just makes himself a walking mat for Johnny.

Hopefully this is not what I will find for the rest of the Heaven Sent series. I know that this is one of her earlier works (it's released in 2006) and I do have experience loving her latest ones (A Rose is a Rose and Squire), so I can hope that it will get better, right?

Frankly, I'm underwhelmed. Is this what I can expect from the rest of the books by the infamous Jet Mykels?

The story was kind of... bland. Not necessarily a bad read, but an almost generic GFY story filled with stereotypes. The Rockstar, the Responsible Insecure Boy, the Terminally Ill Family Member to increase the drama if needed... And (naturally?) sex being pretty much the answer to everything and it (and video games) being the basis for a solid love relationship.

I didn't like Johnnie for over half of the book. He was very pushy -to say the least... I could understand Tyler's insecurities and reservations as he was physically and emotionally pressured by Johnnie. *mild spoiler*

Besides my issues with the main characters, I felt the secondaries were two-dimensional. I didn't feel a connection to any of the characters, which ended up being a good thing actually, otherwise I would have probably been more pissed off about the lack of a good plot.

I just didn't feel it... 2,5 stars.

This being my first full length m/m romantica I am glad I enjoyed so much. The characters were well defined in thier attraction to each other. The story was well written and paced so that you had time to take a liking to the development.

I learned that even m/m romances can be just as sweet and complex or sizzling as any of the other romantica I have read. I do plan to read more from Jet Mykles. Thanks Heather!

***Update***
Upon reading the second time. I know that the feelings evoked by the characters emotions were not because of something I was feeling that day. I really felt the fragile indecision on Tyler's part about his growing feelings for Johnnie Heaven, the rockstar. I like the character development, the love scenes are heaven, and the overall appeal of reading the story again had me smiling the whole time.

I opened this one up because I wanted a quick read. (It's not long.) What I didn't expect was a quick pant. LOL. Oh, my!

In Jet Mykles bio it states something about her ability to write sex. Good god! Not that the sex was overly descriptive &/or accurate or whatever to make me think Jet an expert on gay sex, it was the amount of lust she wrote into Johnnie that sucked me in. (Do I bother saying, "no pun intended?") He was written as a walking predator. His goal was to make Tyler beg, and I was all but right there begging beside him.

Story on the whole- good. Short and with that feel of "insta-love". The bond/chemistry between them was believable. Tyler's reluctance was well done I thought. I guess what holds back a 5 star is the lack of a developed story beyond sex. This was full of sex. So, if you are not keen on stories like that, maybe you should shy away. But, if you are looking to beg for more of Jet Mykles' characters, read on! I thought it was tasty.

I read this for the first time in 2010, I was inspired by Lilli to reread and see how I see it now.

I reread the story of Tyler, the hotel manager of the 'Weiss' and Johnnie Heaven, rock star extraordinaire.
I remembered it as a favorite and that I enjoyed it immensely.
Now after rereading it, I'm reminded a bit of the young teen love you think is so wonderful and the best ever and as you get older you see that maybe you are glad it didn't work out after all.
I still enjoyed this story, but Tyler's 'no' and Johnnie's ignoring it and Tyler letting him ignore it and actually seeking out more ways to 'say no' when he really just wants someone to make the decisions for him and take the responsibility for what they are doing.
When I ignore that part of it, I still really like it, but..I have to ignore that to do it.

Latest reread 3/2018: still problematic as fuck, and I still don't care. Just plain fun.

You know those books that you read early on when your tastes change, and you love everything, but when you go back and read them later, they just don't stand up to your original impression?

Yeah, these aren't those books. I first read these years ago, fairly early in my M/M reading craze. I loved them then, and I still love them today. Sure, there's nothing particularly awesome about the writing or original to the plot, but all put together, they are just something special to me. I love reading about this larger than life rock band, who's members are all apparently gay, or at least bi, and the fight to get the men they love.

Realistic? Hell no, but fun as hell, and that's all I really want!

I was totally sucked into this series by Jet Mykles. Johnnie and Tyler are likeable and the cast of supporting characters enhance the story rather than detract.

This is one of the few series of books that I have read more than once. I felt like I knew all of these men and their partners by the time I had read them all...and I am looking forward to the next edition, even if it does look like it will be a menage for Gretchen.

I am happy to meet up again with Johnnie, Tyler, Luc, Reese, Brent, Hell, Darien and Chris for another glimpse into their lives....

Yay! Rock stars! How cool is that? This book rocked-totally. Johnnie Heaven and his bandmates are ultra-cool, mega hot rockers who agree to play at the opening of a new nightclub as a favor. Johnnie meets the owner of the club, Tyler, and the sparks fly. This story was so much fun, I didn't want it to end. Luckily, it's the first of a series.

Re-read, still love it!

This and book 2 are my favourites of this series. I really loved this one because it was a sexy and sweet intro. I liked the characters and liked the introduction of the other ones who would get their own books. Damn, I should've written a review when I finished reading it, which was a long time ago. I was lazy at writing reviews back then. It doesn't matter anyway, because I gave it five stars so that's enough to tell you it's a good 'un.

Genre: M/M.
What's in it: A smoldering rocker and a cute twink.

This is yet another fun sexy read by Jet Mykles...

Tyler is a huge fan of the band Heaven Sent. He has been a fan since the beginning... so when they agreed to play at the opening of Tyler's new nightclub, he was thrilled.

The minute Tyler sees the lead singer Johnnie, he is enthralled. There is something about him... but Tyler isnt gay, so he cant figure out whats going on. When Johnnie and Tyler start talking, they find out that they both love video games! Tyler starts going to Johnnies room nightly to play... and pretty soon, he starts having sexual thoughts about Johnnie... but that's crazy right? He's not gay... right?

Johnnie just has to have him. He thinks Tyler is so beautiful, and he doesn't even realize it. Tyler keeps denying that he has feelings for him... well, all that is going to change if Johnnie has anything to say about it.

This story is fun and it has a great HEA. Its actually a really sweet love story with a lot of hot m/m sex! If your not into that, then dont read this, because there are no girls in this book. If your into it however... its worth it ;)

I hate that it seems that all I am doing lately is writing a bad review. I guess when you read the quantities I do, you are bound to hit as many bad books as you do good books. That was stale. There was no real story, the characters were just names on a page. Gosh that sounds harsh but for me, it's true. I'm glad I didn't buy the rest n this series. Oh, and I HATE the artwork on the books in this series. Sorry!

Ok, I don't know how I feel about this book. Tyler Purcell owns a hotel and to save the hotel him and his business partners decide to open a nightclub in the hotel. To help promote the new club, they hire Heaven Sent a popular band that they are fans of. Enter Johnnie Heaven, the lead singer of Heaven Sent. He is sexy and everybody's fantasy. Turns out that Tyler & Johnnie share a love of video games, which is what brings them together and from there it's up to them to figure out how to go forward.

**********spoilers***********

Here's the thing, the thing I like about the GFY genre is the straight guy suddenly realizes he is notices another man, then he realizes that he has fantasies about another man that he wants to act on. Then he has some inner dialogue and angst about it and then he goes for it. Sometimes both men are in the same boat sometimes there is a already gay man that enters into the relationship hesitantly because he doesn't want to straight guy to suddenly realize what he's done and regret it. What I didn't really like about this book is it seems like the choice was taken away from Tyler. I feel like he went from "Oh my goodness I can't stop noticing that guy is hot, " to being manhandled by the ambivalently sexual man. Manhandled enough that if Tyler were real he could probably press charges. And 2 of their first 3 sexual encounters are almost completely by force. I feel like he was forced into making a decision. Sure in the end Johnnie apologizes for being so forceful and pushy, and Tyler decides that he is most likely bisexual, but it doesn't matter because the person he wants to spend the rest of his life with is the man that's right in front of him. However, I still can't quite get past the fact that had Johnnie not forced him into it, Tyler may not have gotten to the "desire to act on his feelings" stage.

******************end spoiler***********

Sigh, I guess that I'll try the next book and hope for better.

The book is really enjoyable and I'm looking forward to reading the next one because what's not to like about rockstars? But I don't know if this book leaves me more frustrated or disappointed.

The story is short and in the point of view of Tyler, the young hotel manager. I think the fact that I couldn't see the story through the eyes of Johnnie may be the reason why I couldn't like Johnnie Heaven, the rockstar (I think he's super hot and sexy, but I don't like him). He's so pushy all the time, it seems he never has a doubt, there's nothing that could stand in his way. He's set his eyes on Tyler and he seduces him no matter how many times Tyler says no. Let me tell you that Tyler seems to beg to be seduced, but I wish Tyler could see an ounce of regret or concern in Johnnie. Ok, Johnnie says "I love you" to Tyler first, but so out of the blue that I had to wonder, together with the protagonist, where that came from. And yes, at the end there's a spark of humanity, but it's not enough in my opinion.

Maybe it's because the book is short and the point of view is so limited, but the secondary characters are just sketched. For example, I would have liked to read about Tyler telling his sister he's in love with a man.

It was like I was given an appetizer but not the main course, but it was a great appetizer and I'll read the following books in the series (from the little glimpse I had of Luc I was mesmerized). It's also one of the books I feel I want to re-read, it's smoking hot!

I don't really want to give the wrong impression here because I did enjoy this read. It just had moments of unbelievability or it felt rushed. It also had lovely, sincere scenes that felt genuine. I think I'll continue on with the series because the writing was strong enough to warrant it, and because who doesn't like a sexy gay rocker story?

Tyler jumped. then cursed because he'd jumped. Then cursed because he'd cursed.

This was it. He could probably still leave. ... Or he could surrender and most likely have the most passionate experience of his life. He chose surrender.

Simply put..I loved this book. The rumors of dubcon, the low ratings you might have seen--toss them a side because the story of Johnny (the lead singer for the wildly popular rock band Heaven Sent) and Tyler (owner of the Weiss Hotel) is not only hot and delicious it is also tender and amazingly sweet.

The two men collide and after admitting that both are interested in women, Johnny sets about convincing Tyler to give in to his secreted passion for all things male. The story watches as their feelings for each other grow and begin to shape and mold the way they thing...the way they live.

Jet Mykles is a masterful storyteller, her characters rich and believable, her story fun and engaging and her love for writing evident in the beautifully written prose.

I cannot wait to read more of this author's work.

Highly recommended!

I read this one for a reading challenge and while I don't regret it, some things really didn't sit well with me. It was readable and the writing was okay enough. I guess it had some entertainment value, mainly because it's a really short read.

It's about a band called Heaven Sent. They're performing at the opening of a club and Tyler is one of the owners of the club. Not to mention, a huge fan of the band. Tyler's father is dying and his hotel is suffering. The club is his only hope so it means everything that they got such a popular band to agree to play at the opening. Tyler didn't expect to be so attracted to Johnnie, the lead singer, because he thought he was straight. He thinks it's just hero-worship, that he'll get over it. Little does he know that Johnnie has other plans.

There were two main things that bothered me. One was Tyler's whole "I'm not gay" insistence, all the while he was practically salivating over Johnnie. He kept saying that he was attracted to women, which, of course, would mean he was bisexual. Only, he's didn't seem familiar with the concept. He kept telling Johnnie that they couldn't sleep together or whatever because he liked women. It was stupid. Then the term bisexual actually came up ...and was promptly forgotten in favor of more "I'm not gay" bullshit. As if no other sexuality exists outside of straight and gay.

The second thing I didn't like is worse. The synopsis insinuates that Johnnie would seduce Tyler. I don't think seduction means what the book thinks it means, unless it mean pressuring someone. It was in one scene and I wouldn't call it rape since there was no sex and there was some form of consent (I think), but it definitely toed the line, enough for me to not approve at all.

So yeah, I read it and it wasn't terrible experience. I still want to change the rating to one star but for now, I sticking with 2.

I’ve read this book for the DIK Book Reading Challenge and originally posted this review at my blog.

This is the very enjoyable first book in the Heaven Sent series which is about a rock band. In this first installment we meet the lead singer of the group, Johnnie Heaven. He and his group are booked to play at the opening of this new nightclub at the Weiss Strande Hotel. Tyler’s family owns the hotel and he’s running it since his father is sick with cancer. The nightclub is a new venture that should keep the hotel in business and it’s huge that they managed to book Heaven Sent.
The opening of the club is not only a success, his acquaintance with Johnnie is pretty big too, because Tyler, who always thought he was straight, feels attracted to the very sensual and handsome Johnnie. The singer feels the same towards Tyler and tries to seduce him. Tyler is reluctant and hesitant but Johnnie is very persuasive. Therefore the sex scenes bordered on non-consensual. And although I haven’t actually read yaoi yet, but I did read about it here, I did get a feeling that Heaven is somehow yaoi inspired, with a seme (attacker) and uke (receiver) as the two participants in the relationship. The seme is in yaoi the stronger one and always on top, which makes Johnnie here the seme and Tyler the uke. It’s probably this casting that made their encounters a little bit more black and white than in the usual m/m romance.

Still, Johnnie had his insecurities. Being the famous rock star, he has to deal with the fact that he never knows if someone likes him for him or only for his fame. He has much fun in the bed room with a lot of people but almost never for more than one night. Tyler is different, his reluctance is new for Johnnie, which makes him want Tyler the more so as it assures him that Tyler is not in for the fame aspect. I liked this concept. It gave Johnnie somewhat more depth and made his eventual love for Tyler understandable.
Aside from that Heaven is a lovely Gay For You themed story. Before he met Johnnie, Tyler never felt attracted to guys. He even was engaged with a woman until a short while ago. And of course, after he has been with Johnnie, he’s not interested in other men either: just in his rock star. I gotta admit that I’ve developed a soft spot for Tyler. I felt for him and his doubts about his feelings and it was funny how he initially explained away his behavior when he went for the sex with Johnnie. Those sex scenes were pretty hot too, by the way.

I was not only totally involved with these likeable main characters and their gradually developing romance, I also appreciated the glimpse I got from the secondary characters. Heaven does have a nice cast with quite a lot of characters, but although they played a part in the story, the focus was on Johnnie and Tyler throughout the book. That’s how I like my romances best. The other band members had my interest though, since they all get their own book in this series. I look forward to the other books and the extra shorts regarding this rock band. Although I’m not sure if I’ll read the last book (Revelations) which tells Gretchen’s story, the band’s manager, and is a m/m/f ménage as opposed to the other stories that are all m/m romances.

The series contains:
#1 – Heaven (Johnnie & Tyler)
#1.5 – Pretty Red Ribbon (Johnnie & Tyler)
#2 – Purgatory (Lucas & Reese)
#2.5 – Sexy Spring Surprise (Lucas & Reese)
#3 – Hell (Brent & Hell)
#3.5 – Feisty Little Firecracker (Brent & Hell)
#4 – Faith (Darien & Chris)
#4.5 – Sly Spectral Trick (Darien & Chris)
#5 – Genesis (all 4 gay couples from the first 4 books)
#6 Revelations (Gretchen, Owen, Archer – f/m/m)

Synopsis:

The rock star's aims to introduce Tyler to a whole new level of game play.

Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: male/male sexual practices

My Thoughts:

This was a surprising read for me. I guess thanks to Armi and her touting of this series, I had to check it out and I ended up enjoying it. I've had the book suggested to me by GR more than once, but I avoided it because seriously, talk about horrible covers. The only good part about putting the series off so long is that now it gives me a new series to binge on.

I really liked both Tyler and Johnnie, though Johnnie is pretty forceful in the beginning. At least he does acknowledge that at some point. I still don't think he forced Tyler to do anything he didn't want to do and Tyler certainly never accuses him of doing so. Probably he should have actually stopped when Tyler did tell him to, at least. I won't hold it against him too much.

These two were pretty hot together. There isn't any major drama other than Tyler dragging his feet and doing his hardest to admit his feelings to Johnnie. I thought it was going to be Johnnie I'd have to worry about on that front. I thoroughly enjoyed reading their sex scenes, though. I also liked that they had things in common outside of sex and Johnnie didn't mind talking about the mundane day-to-day with Tyler.

I was happy with Tyler's family, though I would have liked to see . I would have liked to see a little more of the band members, but Luc seems interesting. If there were no Johnnie, Tyler would have went for Luc. Though maybe he would have been able to resist him more than he was able to with Johnnie.

All in all, this was a nice, quick read with some awesome sexy times and sweet moments as well.

I really enjoyed this fast-paced rocker story and could kick myself for allowing the cover to dissuade me from reading it sooner. Not only was it a rocker story, which I love, it had a lot of dialogue, another major plus, and it contained a little dub-con, also an instant hit for me. Plus, the cover actually has a meaning, it makes sense, and is relevant to the storyline. In other words, this is a great story that I allowed my preconceived notions sway me away from; don’t make the same mistake.

Johnnie and Tyler are amazing together. I adored Johnnie’s slut-puppy ways trying to turn Tyler to the gay-side. It’s usually the rocker that has the other main character vying for his attention, but in this case, Johnnie, the lead singer of the band Heaven Sent, is working his magic on unsuspecting and totally innocent, Tyler. Normally when I see dub-con as a tag, I think of it in a negative way. But, in this instance, Johnnie sees something in Tyler that Tyler just hasn’t noticed about himself yet. And though Tyler may have been forcefully persuaded to take a walk on the wild side, he enjoyed every minute, so don’t worry that he was raped, he wasn’t.

Johnnie and Tyler are both such enigmatic characters, and I really can’t wait to continue reading this series. I haven’t looked ahead, nor have I read any blurbs, but I am hopeful that we see a lot more of both men. The side characters, both Tyler’s friends and Johnnie’s band mate’s, leave it wide open for additional books that offer a world of possibility, especially Luc. I really can’t wait for his story. But truthfully, I loved this one. I loved the fast pace and the idea that rockers are just as human as the rest of us. It wasn’t a story of entitlement and the rich versus the average man, but more a story of one man learning about and accepting his true identity and another finding the one he loves and realizing he can’t live without. So good and my new guilty pleasure.

I loved loved loved this! Why was it so good?! I was just looking for a bit of fluff to hold me over till I decided what I really wanted to read. But instead, I ended up wanting this to last forever! I think it deserves more of a 4.5/5.

This was my first 'Gay For You' story, and I think that is really what did it for me. I loved all of Tyler's insecurities, and the fact that he loved Johnnie so much he had to be with him regardless of his gender. It just takes things to a whole new level and I love that. They were both great, but I think I preferred Tyler. Its really hard to say though.

I loved how the only obstacle to their relationship was Tyler coming to terms with his feelings. There were no real fights except regarding Tyler's feelings, no homophobic father, no issues about Johnnie's lifestyle. Johnnie was even the first to say "I love you", which I hadn't been expecting from a rock star, but Johnnie is no stereotype. I loved hearing it and knowing that someone loved Tyler so easily.

Although, I was a little surprised since Johnnie had previously said, "F***ing a guy doesn't mean you're gay. It means you're open to so many more types of pleasure, not just the ones that are widely accepted." It led me to believe that he just loved sex so much, he didn't care where he got it from, but he wasn't actually into men. I thought their relationship may surprise them both. But it ended up coming to Johnnie so easily that it left Tyler reeling and confused. I really felt for him and it was really touching. I just wish there had been more. It felt way too short, and I would have loved to see him tell his sister and to witness her support. I know that she would not have judged him at all. I cant wait to read Purgatory!

This book reminded me a bit of the Gravitation series by Maki Murakami. They both were gay romance related, featured a rock star and a fan of the rock star. It also seemed very anime like with its cover art and some Japanese references within the book.

The book was very well written with the story flowing very smoothly and characters with some depth and realism to them. The two main characters are Johnnie Heaven, the internationally known rock star, and Tyler Purcell, the ower of a five-star hotel. Tyler is reluctant about his sexual attractions towards Johnnie and throughout the book it is more about Johnnie trying to get him to open up and accept his feelings.

This was the first m/m romance i ever read and i was so hooked i now write them. I would give five stars to practically every Jet Mykles book i've read (maybe one or two four stars would creep in). The books are wildly popular and deservedly so. but if by some chance you haven't read Heaven or other JM books, just know she has a very particular aesthetic. She's not writing any semblance of gritty reality. She writes fantasy, even when it's contemporary, as many of her books are. Her heros are wildly over-the-top, gorgeous and often extraordinary. Her plots have a nice amount of complication but are almost never angsty. If you like your romance romantic (and i do) then Jet is the author for you. And what better place to start than Heaven.

4.5 stars - This book was amazing, seriously. The whole series is perhaps one of my favourite in the M/M genre (along with Amy Lane's Promises series) and I absolutely love this first instalment.

Tyler and Johnnie were a wonderful couple. I adored Johnnie and his rock star and 'bad boy' persona, because although he acts cocky and a little too confident at times, he also has a big heart and he genuinely cares for Tyler. It's really lovely. And Tyler? Boy, don't get me started on Tyler! He was great, and although he actually frustrated me at times, I mostly just wanted to give him a hug :)

I like how we get to see glimpses of them in the later books. I really couldn't recommend this series any more highly. It's just fabulous.

This was a fairly straight forward story with a little bit of angst. I wasn't a fan of It was a bit too short for me to become invested in the characters which made it a little lackluster. 3 OK stars

Not quite as good as I remember it being from the first time reading, but still a fun read.

Pretty light, no real drama as such, but a good way to pass the time. Mostly sex orientated but with a few laughs and the odd bit of romance in its own way.

Is there a reason some authors can't just let their characters admit they're bisexual? What's the big deal? And oh my god, did one of the MCs just ask if he got married would he be the bride? Just...no.
