This is the book that gave me the confidence to finally rise to my ability and not fear the future, failure or even success. You can't help but feel like you can slay dragons and conquer the world after you read this inspiring book. It's great! I believe every teen and person in their 20's needs to read this - and you should re-read it from time to time to stay motivated to be the best "you" possible!

There were some good thoughts in this book, a lot of common sense, and, of course, Scripture references that Meyer used to support her points. This author is a woman with a strong personality and plenty of confidence in being herself. She is not for everyone; I did not agree with some of what she said but someone recommended the book to me so I made the effort and did come away with some useful information.

Yes, indeed!

Joyce Meyer has written over 30 books and so far, I've read two. Her writings are filled with hope, joy, and most important, love! I encourage anyone who loves reading to get her writings...

God has greatly blessed me through Joyce. She preaches in a way that I truly understand. This one, in particular, has a special place in my heart. When I first started this book, I was so unsure of myself and I never felt that I was doing good enough to be considered a Christ follower. But God has revealed to me that you don't have to be perfect to be a Christ follower and it's still okay to accept God's amazing love and grace, despite our imperfections. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to reach their full potential, in Christ.

This is one of the book that changed my life, I read it twice. This is where I understand how I can be free to be myself without fear. Here I also learned about "you can not give what you do not have" that I can not love God with my strength, but I can love God because of His love that I had received freely... So I realized that the matters is how I receive the love He has given to me, and then I could return it to Him, to my neighbor, and of course to myself!

I think I read this book at a time in my life when I was really ready to hear some of the things the Bible has to say about His creation. He loves us and we need to receive that love. Good stuff...however, there are some weird chapters that air on the "name it and claim it" prosperity doctrine (so be careful).

I highly recommend this book! God used it to speak truth and goodness into my life. It really encouraged me to move past discouragement in my present season of unemployment and back into faith and confidence and trust and joy and peace in God's good plan for my life. This book taught me a lot and encouraged me in so many ways :)

Love the way she writes..no nonsense, get up and do something with yourself kind of writing. Just what I needed to get myself up and going. She says, "I'm not where I need to be, but thank God I'm not where I used to be. I'm ok, and I'm on my way!" I repeat that to myself often!

I bought this on sale, but the title sounded interesting to me. I am familiar with Joyce Meyer in that I had seen some of her DVD's through our ladies Bible studies. This is still on my shelf as started, but still have a long way to go.

This book lived up to what I expect from Joyce Meyer. It was well established in Scripture, very thought provoking, soul searching, and exceptional teaching with many examples from her own life to help me apply the lessons to my own life.

This book is interesting and I find it more for people with low self esteems and I don't think it is necessarily for me at this time in my life.

Everyone should read this book PERIOD. It's fabulous on talking about being yourself and how you're never going to be happy or even content while pretending to be something you're not. Amazing scriptures in there as well. You deserve to be you, to exist, no matter what others say. What you attract will find you. Also, when you stop comforting to the crowd, when we are doing what we believe, when our actions are in line with our values, when we stop compromising, when we are being our truest self, that's when we start creating our path to success. BE YOU! and you will succeed at doing just that!

I enjoyed this book, it spoke on learning to be yourself in God. I liked the perspectives and the Scripture that was offered to back it up. However, I did not like how Meyer put in parenthesis and brackets of her clarifying or expanding on the emphasis in the Scriptures. I found it distracting but I do understand that some find it helpful in applying to the idea and personally.

A good Joyce Meyer read.

The first half was better than the last half

I enjoyed reading it, but nothing blew me away or is quite memorable.
