The revelation of the Apostle John ties together Christ's relationship to the Church and his gathering of believers at the end of the world. Through visions, John explains the triumph of Jesus at the cross and how this lamb continues to battle Satan. It is difficult for humans to imagine that we are involved in continual spiritual warfare because we live in a world where we see, touch, and feel a concrete reality, however, Jesus is there with us! We have the confidence of knowing the victory is won as the deed is done, Satan is in chains and cannot hurt us!

2nd Reading -- Revelations focuses on Christ. You must pay attention to what John writes in each chapter. If you focus on trying to interpret what John writes in relation to things going on in the current world, you will miss Christ's return. Missing this may lead you on a pathway away from God's love and His invitation into heaven.
