And they lived happily ever after... Or not. The legendary ladies man, August, has finally put an end to his rolling stone ways and is ready to wife up his main squeeze, Draya. After all, it's been a long time coming, seven years to be exact. That said, he did what any respectable man would do, he put a ring on it. But before he turned in his player card, August drug Draya through the mud causing her to seek revenge in the worst way. What will he do when he finds out the love of his life has been creeping? They say "what one man won't do another man will" and that proved true in Draya's case. When her and August split up, she found comfort in the arms of another man. A man who is close friends with the family. As soon as she decides to take August back and agrees to marry him, her sideline boy toy isn't prepared to let her go. But what if Draya's not ready to leave her side n**** alone either? Ghost was and still is the king of the south. Only difference now is that he's a committed family man who stays away from the enticements that come along with being the head of The Gatti Boyz organization. Problem is, not everyone in his camp knows how to fight temptation, especially his younger brother Sanchez. What's he to do when he finds out his brother is having an affair that hits too close to home? Adriana is trying to juggle having a career all the while being a good wife and mother. All of her years spent studying law has prepared her to practice at one of the biggest law firms in Houston. What she isn't prepared for is the sexy, rich, suave Attorney Walé who happens to be her mentor. He's a named partner at her new firm and he wants a piece of the Puerto Rican Princess. And he's convincing in and out of the courtroom. Will Adriana's love and loyalty to Ghost trump her lust for Walé? Or will she give in to her smooth boss like everyone else does? Find out what happens when skeletons jump out of the closet, lines are crossed in relationships and marriage bonds are tested. The H-Town crew is back for one last round of drama in this wedding special. And the million-dollar question still remains, will August and Draya ever make it down the aisle?
WOW SOL. that was amazing I was a little worried for draya at the end my heart was beating out of my chest I was praying for her like she was a real live person. I was hoping that August showed up at the alter I probably would have been broken hearted for her if he did not. The love those to shared was truly magical and they were made for each other. I hate to see my favorite couples go. this was an amazing series, and I know that you have more in store for us. amazing job sol!
I was so happy to see the growth of all the characters and August finally became a man I could respect. YaYa finally learned to move around she made me want to hurt her seriously. Draya got some get back which I was glad to see after all she went through I'm still shaking my head it could have been a lot worse, but glad she got what she deserted a happy ending.
I'm so happy this series ended on a good note...Whew!! This emotional roller coaster and tit for tat stuff was driving me crazy! I love happy endings, although I know they don't always happen. It still gives me hope!!
What a love story. Fate is so real for these characters. August and Ghost are fire ass men. Draya deserved some on the side. Hell August was not loyal,km. This series was on fire. Keep them coming Sol. I love all your books.
This couple has come along way never did I think that August would sit down his players card Settletown become a man and step up to the plate and choose only one woman but he did .
Omg thank you for such an exciting crazy and funny story. I fell in love and was ready to fight characters all at the same time, thank you for showing a a sick love triangle that somehow still ended on a happy note.....
I am so sad to see it end but I have loved it since book one....I love August and I pray to find a love like his one day. Yaya makes me wanna put hands on her and Sanchez too. Thank you for this series and I cant wait to see what's next
I'm glad Draya and August finally got their happy ending. Yaya finally grew up, bout time. I'm glad it didn't come out that Draya was sleeping with Sanchez, that could have ended real bad. Wale was trying to get Adrianna caught up, glad she didn't take the bait.
Perfect ending. This is one of my favorite series that I will never forget about. August and draya had a dysfunctional relationship but I'm glad it all worked out at the end.
I was giving this book a 2 because I didn't agree with where I thought it would end considering the history. The ending brought my rating up because August finally became the man that Draya deserved. Yaya irked my nerves throughout, her character was just pathetic she saw the light in the end though so I'll let her live, for now. I love LOVE!
I loved how the story came together. August and Stays belonged together after everything they been through. I think they grew up together. Even though I didn't like them Ghost and Adriana they made a cute couple. I like the fact that she left her job because she knew that it would lead to trouble. I really enjoyed this series.
I have been waiting for this book, and now I hate to see it go. Sol, you have done it again. August, a perfectly flawed man, loved by a perfectly flawed women imperfectly. With all of his arrogance, cockiness, and sexapeal one women tamed him, and her name was Draya. Make no mistake about it this love story wasn't an easy one, however, when you love someone with your whole heart, you really know them, and they know you at the end of the day if it is mentioned to be then it will. True love always prevails in the end.
I hate to see it come to an end but I'm glad it was on a high note. What a way to turn the tables. I loved every minute of it. I got off work and read this front to back. I will always recommend a book by Sol because it is always great. I'm so happy with the ending but I am wondering if baby momma Yaya and her brother Sanchez will get a spin off......definitely worth the wait.
It was so good to read about my boo again and I was so happy that he turned his life around but he should have been put yaya in her place but I'm still happy about the ending and I would love to read more about ghost
Sol, I dont like you right now!!! Why you always gotta end the book like you do?! Lol!!! On the real, I hope you dont end the August series here because I love them!! Keep them coming!!!
Every now n then when u think about them we need updates. Oh and I'm missing Blu boo and Ace. So happy for our crazy couples. But Draya was crazy to tell on herself. Them kids gonna be something special too. I'll be on the look out for them too.
Omg Sol! You can't just end it like this. You have me wanting for more. I'm glad that they finally got it together but I was sure someone was going to die. True love prevailed in the end
SOL YOU REALLY PUT A TOUCHING ENDING TO THIS SERIES WOW. YOU HAD MY HEART DROP DURING THE FIGHT OH GIRL YES BUT IT TURN OUT TO BE GREAT. IM HAPPY AND SAD THIS END
I don't know why but I'm mad at August respond when he found our about his soon to be wife...... But you know they always say don't dish out what you can't take!!!!
I loved this end to a great series and Yaya was way too foul!!! Hopefully Yaya finds her own man eventually and I love how Draya got some revenge in this book!
FIRE!!! THIS WAS AN AWESOME SERIES... I WOULD LOVE TO READ A STORY ABOUT YA YA N CHEZ AS WELL ... THE KIDS TOO... I JUST DON'T WANNA STOP READING ABOUT THESE AWESOME CHARACTERS
August was really getting on my nerves. What happened to a man being faithful to his one and only? It became too much for him to be with everything that walked. It was humorous that it was ok for him to do it, but when Draya wasn't faithful, it was a problem....he dished it out, but he couldn't take it. Draya was tired of being cheated on, and I don't blame her. At the end of the day, both August and Draya's heart belonged to each other, so they finally committed to one another forever. It wasn't your traditional wedding, but they vowed to love each other until death. I'm happy that August finally grew up, and realized that he had a good woman, and to do right by her.
