I was surprised how few books on World War I I could find for junior high grade curriculum. This one was a little more challenging for my daughter to follow without pausing often to translate it in a way she could comprehend. However, it was a helpful companion with all of the photographs and memorable accounts, to the other larger chapter book on World War I that we are reading.
