I think it talks a lot about the English tradition of drinking tea, but not so much about reading tea leaves. I thought it was more complicated to learn but the basics are easy, what is needed is more intuition, I like that it has a section of symbols, some have good descriptions and others I think they need to go deeper into them, but for that there are symbology books I would recommend more at the time of interpretation.

This is a good book about tea time, yes. It gives you background information about tea and tea time and extra instructions such as dessert recipes. But as for the tea-leaves reading part, it falls short. Tea leaf reading is such a symbolically rich art that it can't be contained in such a small book. And in this book, not only the symbols described are too simplistic and few -- this book only contains maybe a hundred symbols - the interpretation of symbols aren't given until you're halfway into the book! I enjoyed reading this book for the most part but this wouldn't be on the top of my recommendation list anytime soon.
