Sierra Kincade lives in the Midwest with her husband and son. When she’s not writing naughty books, she loves eating chocolate cupcakes, binge-watching cable series, and singing loudly in the car. She wholeheartedly believes that love stories are real, and you should never choose a partner who doesn't make you laugh.
A few of Sierra’s favorite things:
Bad boys with dirty mouths – English Breakfast tea with two packets of Sugar in the Raw – any movie or show with a choreographed dance routine – cinnamon toast – kids who say funny things – friends who raid her pantry without asking – bootleg jeans – making lists – old Garth Brooks songs – and of course, massages.
I loved this book and this author is one of my most favorite Romance authors. The characters in this book are well developed and the story kept me turning the pages to see what was going to happen next. If you are looking for something steamy with a thriller feel to it, consider checking this series out. I loved all of the books in this series equally and can't wait to see what Sierra Kincade writes next!
The action on this second in the series was a bit more stuttery than in the first. I had a hard time getting a feel for the characters too, but overall I enjoyed it. Geeky Cole and homebody Kenzie were really cute together.

This is Cole and Mackenzie’s book. It was okay. The chemistry and romance was average at best, and the plot itself just seemed very unbelievable. I’m all for suspense and drama, but the actions of the characters, law enforcement, antagonists, wasn’t working for me.
I was intrigued by the premise of this one. Sadly I didn't get into the actually story as much as I'd liked. I never got that connection with the characters that would've really made me want to read more. In fact I eventually found myself skimming and just wasn't interested enough to keep reading, so DNF'd at a little over 100 pages in.
I tried to keep at it but I was basically bored with everything. Hell, even when the MCs finally kiss I felt nothing! This could just be a me feeling, others may find this exciting and riveting but when i find myself basically just turning the page, not because I actually was excited to read more, but in hopes this would get more captivating well...it was time to just give up
Also a thing that irked me. Our heroine goes back to her restaurant after some guys come round to cause trouble, after she and our hero have basically been threatened, and while inside she hears a noise. AND YET calls out "Hello?" Seriously? you're worried about the guys coming back, but you're calling attention to yourself? How does that make sense? She does the "hello?" again, after hearing the noise and thinking it was a squirrel >.> Listen if it WAS a squirrel it couldn't answer you anyways so whaaaat are you even doing? I hate this in horror movies so already feeling meh about the book, this did not help at all. NOTE: it was not a squirrel. Shocking i know!
