I got this book because I am a fan of trivia books and I am running out of BRI books to read.
Things this book has going for it... its very long, about 700 pages, so there are a lot of stories in there. Any trivia fan is bound to find something new.
Negatives - organization - each chapter is organized by topic (history, movies, sports), so if a reader isn't a fan of a certain topic, they will have to slog through dozens of pages on it before they get to something new.
They often dwell on the same story and have numerous entries about the same thing.
The pictures in the book are pointless... basically generic clip art used to fill up blank spaces.
A lot of the trivia is pretty well known, even to people who don't read as much as I do.
I would suggest getting this book 1) if its really cheap/free or 2) if you have run out of other trivia to read. Otherwise, there are a lot of better collections out there to choose from, like Uncle John's Bathroom Reader and the whole series.

A perfectly average trivia book. Not great, not terrible, just okay.

It was ok, I'll have to read this again. A lot was going on so I'm not sure if I fully experienced the book. I was not too focused on what all was going on in each part.

Definitely different. Some of it was pretty boring, and some just junk, but most of it was pretty fascinating, and definitely informative

A fun read but; some of the "truths" were not really credible if given some serious thought.
