Being Whole: All the Things I Never Told You, Or Admitted to Myself

Rate this book
We all desire to have two things in this honest love and healing closure. We want answers that we don’t always get. We want people who love us for ourselves and who never leave. We tend to hold back our thoughts and feelings for others that keep us hanging on when we need to let go. We want to no longer feel broken or undesired, but whole. In this book, Lacey Ramburger takes you through her own journey through her relationships- all the good, the bad, and unforgettable moments, as well as her relationship with herself. Incredibly raw and heartbreakingly honest, Ramburger’s story will resonate with anyone who has tried to find their self-worth and love in others, only to discover they’ve possessed it all along. A mixture of personal essays and poetry, Lacey invites you to walk with her as she brings to light the things she wished she had said, and how she found closure and healing within herself.

What an unexpected delight! I was anticipating some awesome poetry, and was not ready for some profound insights into love and life and leaning into pain and healing.

Lacey has insight and emotional connectedness to love way beyond her years. I look forward to her writing career :) <3

I am so grateful for her vulnerability in allowing us in to her journey and process - Taylor would be proud.

I had read and loved a lot of Ramburger’s work on social media, which is what prompted me getting this book. There are several pages I’ve turned down that I’m sure I’ll revisit again and again and some that may become more relevant to me as I continue to grow. Regardless, there is some excellent advice here and some that’s a little cliche. But I do recommend this book to anyone who wants to love themselves and the world around them just a little bit more :)
