Bob “Oscar” Oscarson thinks he may have struck it rich when he finds a 300-year-old Spanish coin while SCUBA diving.
When he and his partner, Nik, begin researching the coin, they learn it has a very mysterious history…one that may end up costing them their lives.

Scuba divers discover a coin from an ancient shipwreck with an unusual marking – a hole. When they find out the coin may be connected to a 30-year-old murder and the suspicious death of another, they find themselves in deeper and the increasingly troubled “waters,” of murder, political corruption, and sunken treasure.
Reminiscent of the old detective novels, Blood in the Water, set in the Atlantic off the Florida coastline, is a fun, face-paced whodunit, A most enjoyable read.

Another great read from this talented author. Tim Baker's novels always have plenty of suspense, adventure, and humour. Blood in the Water is no exception.
I've read a few books by this author and it's like reading a series—even though there is no continuing story as such—because he sets his stories on Flagler Beach in Florida and many of the same characters pop up in each of his novels.
I enjoyed this story. It's a fast-paced read that makes you want to turn the pages to find out what happens. The ending made me wonder if there might be a sequel; it was very thought-provoking and rounded the story off nicely but with enough intrigue to start me thinking about what could happen next. An entertaining read with a complex but easy to follow storyline.

This was the first book I have read by this author, and I can't wait to read more! I was on the edge of my seat to finish this and find out what happened. The writing style was easy to follow, fun to read and a great combination of mystery, comedy and suspense, complete with some great twists in the plot. I am looking forward to reading his other books.
