This is an amazing box set once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This book has some major plot twists that will have you on the edge of your seat. This is a well written and very entertaining story.

Volume 1 There is so much emotion and so many secrets contained within this little novella. Alexa was involved in a car crash that stole everything from her but left her alive. Landon’s a playboy musician with dark secrets he’s hiding from the world. The connection between them is nearly instant and overwhelming. Neither knows what to do with chemistry they shouldn’t act on. I’m very glad I can move on to the next part of the story immediately. I think I might have lost my mind if I had to wait to read more of this story. Volume 2 The pain and secrets just get deeper and darker. Both Alexa and Landon are a mess. Neither one fells in control of their life anymore. As their feelings for one another get stronger, forces outside their control are working to tear them apart. Can they find their balance point together or will those destructive forces win? With the cliff-hanger this episode ends on, I’m more anxious than ever to read the next installment. Volume 3 This installment is much longer than the previous ones, and it needs to be because there’s so much that happens in this one. I don’t even know how to write a review of this that doesn’t spoil what few answers we’re able to glean or the twists the plot takes once you’re inside. Everything we had come to believe in the previous two books is brought into question. Somehow the emotional turmoil and secrets that were already overwhelming get even bigger. Can Alexa figure out who she really is? Will Landon get his forever love? Watch out for the sudden stop at the end of this book. The cliff we’re left hanging from is very steep. Volume 4 I'm sitting here looking at the blinking cursor and realizing I haven't quite recovered from the book yet. I'm wondering how do I put into words what I just went through and make it more meaningful than "it was good"? Definitely not for the faint of heart. This episode, more than any of the others, contains scenes and subject matter that may be difficult to read, with some themes that aren't "nice" at all. I’m so very glad to see all of the questions answered and everyone gets exactly what they deserve, but I’m left a little numb after everything this book put me through.
When I started the book, I was thinking, if I made a mistake to start this series. The characters from the book were not so good, and I was unable to feel the special connection with the characters. But as the story developed more and more, I felt good about the story & the characters and my interest grew page by page.
Talking about the story, first of all, the characters - all the characters had felt pain in their life and searching for a relaxing ground to hold, a hand that can soothe their pain. I liked all the character but at the same time, I hated them at the same time. Throughout the book, there were moments when I was in the midst of liking the characters then suddenly a twist and I started disliking them. I think this is the quality of the author. I felt that I like the character of the story when the author wants me to. For that, I'll give full credits to the author.
Now, story, the story of the series is good, full of life & the special thing 'twists', lots of them. These twists made the story beautiful, interesting and attractive at the same time. I liked how the story developed from Book 1 to Book 5, in every aspect. The twists were cherries on the top of the cake. The pace of the story was also good in the whole series. If you start reading the book, you'll never feel that the book is becoming boring and you are losing the interest in characters or the story or the plot. You'll feel bound in the story.
The way author put down the story, the way author wrote the complete series is much appreciable. I love the author style of writing the whole series down.
I would like to recommend the series to those readers who want to see everything in a book i.e., pain, love, drama, romance, thrill, twists and much more.
Aligned: The Complete Series by Ella Miles is a poignant, devastatingly touching, heartbreaking four-part series of Alexa (Alex) and Landon.
Volume 1: Alexa is physically and emotionally scarred from an horrific event that occurred a few months ago. While struggling to get her groceries to her condo one day, she is aided by Landon, a neighbor. She is a talented photographer and it turns out her return engagement gig is an up-an-coming rock star…yup. Landon. He wants her and she wants him. But, the past won’t let her go…she suffers constantly.
Volume 2: Alexa tells Landon that nothing can ever happen between them. So, he leaves. They meet up at a gala for her deceased husband. He attends with his ex, Caroline. While Alexa has to deal with her mother-in-law. But, love can’t be denied. Until, the impossible happens….HUGE cliffhanger. Luckily, this is a boxset….so, I can just continue!!!!!
Volume 3: Ethan returns….there’s so much SUSPENSE, angst, unexpected situations, torn emotions….too much!!! I LOVED this series. You just keep getting more and more into these incredibly believable characters….whose lives are simply torn apart…There are sooooo many secrets, so much deceit…ends on another cliffhanger….gotta see what happens!!!! Again, luckily…it’s a boxset!!! I don’t have to wait!!!
Volume 4: Lots of revelations in this last of the series story!!! The truth comes out about LOTS of things!!! Caroline is a horrible nemesis….and that continues in this portion of the series. Landon is at a loss…what a dilemma! Won’t give anything away….Suffice it to say, THIS SERIES IS PHENOMENAL!!!!! BEST EVER!!!! 5++++++ stars!!!! Loved it!!! Ella Miles is an incredible talent!!!
Ever After: basically a short epilogue to the entire series….don’t miss this wonderful wrap-up!!!!

*Spoilers* Ok so for starters not a book for anyone with triggers for sexual assault or violence. It’s a rough book to read at times. Alexa is a photographer who is LA trying to remember herself and her life. Landon is a famous musician just going through life not looking for anything other than joy because of his success. There is Laura who is Alexa’s stuck up and rich mother in law. Drew is Landon’s twin brother and manager. Caroline who is Landon’s crazy ex and the twins childhood friend. Ethan is Alexa’s husband and the ultimate evil human. Ethan and Alexa were in an accident on their wedding night. She ended up losing a leg and her memory. She’s also told Ethan is dead. She meets Landon her neighbor in a klutz moment and they connect from there. They have so many secrets, obstacles, ups and downs. Caroline is determined to get and keep her man anyway possible. Drew is there secretly loving Caroline and supporting his brother. Ethan comes back from the dead and tries to get Alexa back. Ethan is the cause of a lot of pain and damage to anyone unlucky to encounter him. He is everything wrong and evil in Alexa’s life. He is her rapist, abuser, murderer and husband. This book is a journey of Alexa trying to find herself, her past, her future and her justice. I both enjoyed and hated this book. I got so absorbed in all of the drama and suspense. You go on a full emotional roll coaster of emotions. You want to know Alexa’s story as much as she does. You want to shake her and Landon to open their eyes and mouths. You want to punch Caroline, Ethan and Laura. You want to yell at Drew to do something. It’s a good book to read.

Not having read other books by the author before, I was impressed with just how well she executed the book. There were a lot of twists and turns in the story that I did not expect and that had me reading nonstop until the very end.
In the story we get to meet Alexa Blakely, a renowned photographer whose career had to be put on pause after she ends up in a car accident. The accident was so severe that the doctors had to amputate one of her legs which changed her life forever. Now she has to use a prosthesis and attend therapy in order to get back to life. But what caused her more pain is the memory loss that she had to endure after the accident and now she has no recollection of the husband she once had. But when she moves back to her apartment in L.A. she stumbles upon Landon Davis, her neighbor who happens to be a famous musician (but she doesn’t recognize him right away). It is his friendly attitude and good looks that intrigued her, but she knows that any kind of relationship with him will not end well. Alexa is trying to move on with her life, but having everyone around her remind her of her husband is making things difficult for her. Nevertheless, Landon always finds a way to be there for her and their relationship turns friendly right away. As the two start to spend more time with each other, the more relaxed she becomes around him and the more her feelings start to grow for him. But there are things in her past that could potentially hurt their relationship and she will not stop until she figures out her past before it’s too late.
Landon Davis is a famous musician who has no trouble attracting the opposite sex, he has the money and looks to get just about anything he wants. But even with all the power that he has, he still can’t get himself out of writer’s block and if he doesn’t release a single he will find himself in trouble with his label company. When he meets Alexa Blakely outside their building, he is immediately attracted to her. She is feisty and her no nonsense attitude is what makes him want her even more. Landon knows that Alexa has been through so much pain and he wants to be there for her, but he is keeping things from her that could change the course of their relationship if he doesn’t tell her. As the two find more things in common with each other, the harder it becomes from him to not fall in deeply in love with her. Now it’ll be up to them to decide if they can have a future together after all or not.
I truly enjoyed reading Aligned, it was well written and the pace truly made the story that much more interesting. Both of the characters are flawed and have their moments throughout the series, but they also manage to evolve towards the end. The amount of twist and turns in the story had me hooked and invested in the characters. I wish the author could have elaborated on some of the scenes, but it still worked out in the end. I would highly recommend reading the series and the after story (if you sign up to the author’s emailing list)! :)
***A copy of this book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.***
Let me start by saying that I was unsure what I had stumbled upon; Volume 1 was free on amazon so I figured why not, it sounded intriguing. Well after consuming Volume 1 in one sitting, I had to go ahead and buy the rest of the volumes in this pretty little packaged deal for a great price. Needless to say, I devoured Volumes 2, 3 and 4 all night and early into the morning. I think I had maybe 2 hours of sleep before it was time to get the kids ready for school.
I would recommend this book to my friends and readers. It seemed to have it all. Suspense, drama, love and heartbreak. I liked the characters. I liked the way Author Ella Miles was able to bring them all together. The banner between Alexa and Landon keep me on my toes to see what they would say to each other next. Then throw some past into the mix and life for Alexa and Landon gets very tricky. I continued to turn pages, I had to see what they would do next and if the past would become the future for Alexa and Landon? Leaving them both heartbroken.
My heart went out to Alex who took the brunt of the pain in this series. Full of intense drama and angst as her love for Landon was thwarted again and again. Landon, Drew, and especially Caroline were well developed characters as well, but I wasn’t on board with their messy relationship with each other. Landon was willing to give up on his love for Alex because of Caroline’s manipulation and lies. Ugh. While I commend the author for pulling off the healed relationships at the end, I really felt that Caroline was too easily forgiven by them all. I mean, what sane person would plot out and complete such a lie the way she did? It didn’t sit right that she was instantly forgiven with just her confession. I liked the underlying mystery of Alex’s missing pieces of her memory and the way the truth startlingly unfolded throughout the storyline. I love this author’s writing style, but I hate cliffys, so this complete box set was a great treat for me!

Too convoluted and too much manufactured drama. Don’t get me started on the Caroline issue. Good grief but she was awful and the justification and forgiveness too ridiculous to believe (she was not poor misunderstood anything, she was absolutely awful). She was instrumental in getting Alex to go back to Ethan to protect Landon and there she was be brutalized. But that’s just overlooked?? The whole “he needs to choose you and his daughter” is a bunch of manufactured drama too. People do not have to get married because of pregnancy. In fact a marriage based solely on pregnancy when one person manipulated it that way will be doomed. The only reason Caroline even backed off sabotaging Landon and Alex was because she realized she had the wrong idea when she was 8. If that hadn’t come to light she’d be just as evil to them as always. So she didn’t even grow and change, which would maybe make her redemption palatable. The immaturity of everyone was annoying as well. No this book just had me annoyed through most of it and I never had that sense of justice I needed for the bad guys.
I really liked this series. It moved at a good pace and the characters were interesting, flawed, but believable (for the most part). It kind of reminded me of my very favorite series Jack and Jill by Jewel E. Ann, which if you haven't read it, just do it. Right now. Then get back to this review.
Ok, I think the reason this didn't rate higher with me is it didn't quite evoke the emotions I require for a five star review. Oh yeah, I felt a lot of dread throughout the book, but there were certain things that didn't quuuuuite work for me. Like frankly, I was expecting Landon's big secret to be more of a 'oh wow' twist, and for me, it really wasn't. Also - and I'm surprising myself, I didn't cry much during these books, even though I was invested. So it's more of a 4-4.5 than a straight up holy five stars.
Anyway, I do suggest people read this series, it's gripping, hard to put down and I'll be looking into more of this authors work.
It was love at first sight for Landon. For Alex not so much. They first met when Alex fell and Landon being a gentleman helped her gather her things in her bag and helped her into apartment. Alex is still getting use to messing her memories and other things when looks at Landon. Though after she fell asleep once back at her place he proceeded to help her unpack which caused much anger when she woke up. They had plenty push and pull between them. Landon was smitten while Alex continued to deny her feelings. Though as it turns out falling for Landon was the best thing that has happen to her and the best thing for him. Both of them have secrets and if they are to be together they both need to let them out and find out what they are. That leads them on a rollercoaster ride of finding the real truth, love, and happiness.

Wow! There are so many twists and turns in this book. I couldn't put it down. Alexa and Landon have so much chemistry from the get go. I felt so much pain for Alexa. She really endured so much prior to the accident. Landon and Alexa really needed each other whether they knew it or not.
Caroline's character(the ex girlfriend), I despised but she somewhat redeemed herself in the end, and when I say somewhat, she is still conniving. I don't think I could get over her manipulations that easy. Drew(Landon's twin), seems like a pushover. Ethan(Alexa's ex) is a piece of work!!! Like, WOW!!!!
All in all, it kept me super interested. The book(s) went by real fast, no boring stalled moments. I enjoyed reading it very much. Definitely recommended!
I received this complimentary book in exchange for my honest opinion. bookstagrammer-tweezyreads
This story has suspense, drama, and more twists and turns than a roller coaster. I soon as I thought I knew what was going on - BAM! The mystery intensified as to Alexa's missing memories and Landon's big secret skeleton in his closet. The intrigue was almost enough that I put the book down completely just to put myself out of my own misery - there were just points in the books where I just couldn't take any more. The characters had soap opera-style lives. There where times when I felt like saying "really what else can bad can happen. Lying conniving ex? Fine throw that in there too". Don't get me wrong they are enjoyable books. What these characters go through to get back to each other makes me question their sanity. But hey, love often finds is doing insane things.

Another fantastic series by this aithor that will absolutely captive you from beginning to end. This story ventures into the dark and twisty but oh my goodness! This is Alexa and Landon's story and what an amazing roller coaster ride. Alexa has a past that she is trying to run from. Just when she starts to believe that she maybe she has, it pops up with a vengence. Landon is a playboy musician that is instantly attracted to Alexa but he has a skeleton or two that begins to rattle as well. Reliving the past is no ones cup of tea but if you find someone that can help you through it, it makes it all worth it. However, what if having that person help you blows your chances of a future? I cannot say enough, I love this author's work and this series is no exemption, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

As I read this as a set, I would have to say that I would have been frustrated had I read this in parts as it was released. The breaks between parts were placed well to "hook" the reader into the story and crave more. Alexa was likeable, strong willed, no nonsense, with a little bit of crazy mixed it at times. Landon was flawed, but likeable and endearing to the reader. Their relationship progression seemed quite fast, but, otherwise, was well-written. The introduction of the third main character was interesting and added to the suspense of the story. The climax of the book could be considered a bit graphic and hard for some people to enjoy. Overall, this book was a good read that I enjoyed.
Glad I could read this a a continuous read... I think otherwise the cliffhangers would have driven me crazy. I also felt that I connected more with the characters as I read. They seemed to develop along with the story. All the characters had been through pain and were looking for a way to come out the other side. This story had me engulfed totally. The twists and plot turns keep you guessing ( but what Ella Miles Book doesn’t) This book takes you through a range of feelings... and always keeps you wanting more. This series does contain some subject matter that may be a trigger for some people. This series is highly recommended.

Holy dark and twisted rollercoaster, Batman! This book series was one heck of a ride. Reading the series as an entire boxed set like one book is the way to go, in my opinion.
Landon, Drew, Caroline and Alexa - good thing they were rich because with all of the twisted, intriguing and mysterious goings on, no one had time to go to work every day. It’s been awhile since I’ve read a good book that had so many paths to tie up - all while wrapped up in hot, steamy and at times kinky love.
If you like stories with loads of passion, angst, crime, lying, devious characters, protective men, extreme self sacrifice amid rescuing loved ones from danger whenever necessary, you need to read this boxed set.

This is one of the few books I have read that I wished more stars were available for rating it. This is a four book set that grabs you from the first paragraph. Just when I thought I had figured out everything, it re-aligns and you basically start anew. There are some emotional triggers present, but are necessary for the book to evolve. The chemistry between Alexa and Landon is hot. The story has so many different parts that must align to reach it’s conclusion. It has aspects of broken childhoods, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, miscommunications, no communication, lies, and deception. Absolutely one of the best books I have read!

Aligned. This series was intense and unexpected. I was blown away by all the twists this series encompasses. The characters were believable and they capture your heart. The men in this series have you loving them, then hating them, then loving them again except for Ethan who was pure evil once Alexa finds the evidence she needs. Caroline is a woman to be reckoned with. Her motives are so selfish and devious and someone to hate. Landon and Drew, twin brothers, are alpha males with issues from childhood. This series is exciting and romantic and will consume you. A must read series! Aligned is a dark and we'll written box set of four books and an extended epilogue by Ella Miles which keeps on an emotional rollercoaster as you read the story of Alexa and Landon. The novel tells the saga of Alexa, who is a photographer who has recently experienced losses, and Landon, who is a rock star and neighbor to Alexa who has his own past secrets. I highly recommend this phenomenal series with its complex and we'll developed primary and secondary characters and complicated plot with drama, suspense, mystery, unexpected twists, deceit by a villainy nemesis, and an emotional journey to find love.

Alexa and Landon's difficult journey to forever! by sewsummore
I am a huge fan of this author, and this was a series I have not read before. I am so glad that it was a complete series because the wait for the next book in the series can be very frustrating. As with all of this author's series, there are twists and surprises to Alexa and Landon's story that just keep coming. You never expect what happens next, although this can be frustrating if you do not have the full series. It was not the case here. My only problem was the lack of sleep as I kept reading long into the night reading. I have no hesitation in recommending this fantastic series from a great author.

Very well written stories with a great storylines and plots. It does not disappoint. Follow the characters from the first story to the last and get to know them. Absolute an amazing journey but enjoyable. It contains amazing stories that has a lot of chemistry, secrets, surprises, action, drama and passion in them. They are rollercoasters of emotional ups and downs. You scream, cry and want to shake the characters sometimes to get them in the game.
The stories have some unsuspected twists which only makes them much better.

What an emotional rollercoaster ... a rock star with a writer's block happens to meet a fascinating stranger in his apartment building and is obsessed with her ... Landon loses his writer's block after the first meeting with feisty Alexa and can finally write again great songs and compose. Alexa is actually a photographer but has crawled into her sparse apartment and is literally trying to get back on her feet after a horrendous car accident she suffered nine months ago, in which she lost her husband, her right leg and all previous memories. The two are an incredible couple. The story is extremely diverse and exciting ... An absolute pleasure to read
This is the complete series about Alexa and Landon who meet when she falls and he helps her to her condo and when she falls asleep proceeds to unpack her boxes that she just moved into the condo and she is not happy about it. At first I did not like him but as their story moves along I realize that he really cares about Alexa who has had a bad accident and her memory is sketchy. There are all kinds of twists and turns in this story along with some nasty characters (his ex girlfriend and her husband who she thought was dead). This will keep you on the edge of your seat and turning the pages until the end.
Wow this book is full of suspense, secrets, heartbreak, danger, love, revenge...all the emotions. Alex is broken and trying to rebuild her life after a tragic accident. Landon is a rising star with a painful past. Both carry secrets. She is strong and determined. He is driven and committed. I am glad this series was put together in one place, because it’s the best way to read it! If I had to read each book separately waiting for the next after a cliff hanger I would hate it. This book is very dark but always adds enough light to keep it enjoyable.
This box set contains the complete four-part Aligned Series by this author. It is an emotionally charged romance between Alex and Landon that doesn’t shy away from pain or loss. The push and pull between these two flawed characters is a journey that Ella Miles does a great job displaying. Mistakes are made, feelings get hurt, trust is broken, but the journey towards healing and moving on makes this story special. It is an angsty love story with drama and love, plus engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. Overall, it is a solid read with heart, heat and a happy ending

Dark and gritty with complicated plot twists and characters that aren't good or bad (or maybe they are?). I did read each of the books individually but seriously appreciated reading them as a series. There were important nuances I missed between books so they read much better as a set (not that they were bad before, but they were better together). This author's books feature dark histories, dramatic surprises and unexpected events and this book displays all these characteristics in a fast paced, edge of your seat read that will keep you entertained. I received an ARC for this book but did purchase it.
I loved it! I could not stop reading, I just had to find out what happened next. I loved and hated Alex and Landon throughout the book. But even though they were frustrating at times I never stopped rooting for them to find a way. Drew and Caroline were great supporting characters who stayed relevant throughout the whole series.
I was not expecting this series to be such a deep and emotional read. If you are trying to decide to read this or not just go for it you won't be disappointed.
What a brilliant set of books! Alex(a) and Landon's fast-paced, heat-fueled, mystery laced with dark and disparity had me from the very first page it did not want to let go! Fascinating storyline, with strong, well-developed characters, following along on their journey of backbreaking soul healing with the many dangerous, and some not so dangerous obstacles that stand in their way was amazing! I almost did not want it to end! A unique web of feels by Ella Miles I highly suggest checking out for yourself!
