Adam is a fifth grader. His mother has two llamas she uses to take tourists on hikes over the summer. Adam takes care of and loves the llamas.
Alana Brown enters Adam's class and he has a crush on her. Along with his friend Justin, they go ghost hunting at a local mansion turned hotel and restaurant.
The local library is being renovated. Adam proposes taking his llamas to the big reception to increase publicity and attendance.
This is a fast, easy rather sweet book to read. It is definitely middle grade told in first person.
