The third book in the New York Times bestselling and RITA®-award-winning Forget Tomorrow series is a thrilling conclusion to an epic trilogy.

Seventeen-year-old precognitive Olivia Dresden is an optimist. Since different versions of people's futures flicker before her eyes, she doesn't have to believe in human decency. She can literally see the path to goodness in each person—if only he or she would make the right decision. No one is more conflicted than her mother, Chairwoman Dresden, and Olivia is fiercely loyal to the woman her mother could be.

But when the Chairwoman captures Ryder Russell, a boy from the rebel Underground, Olivia is forced to reevaluate her notions of love and faith. With Ryder's help, Olivia must come to terms with who her mother is in the present—and stop her before she destroys the world.

This review, a giveaway, and an exclusive excerpt from Seize Today can be found on my blog, illbefinealonereads

Huge thanks to Chapter by Chapter for the chance to be a part of this blog tour.

Pintip Dunn gave us the perfect conclusion to the breathtaking series. Seize Today provides all the answers while presenting an interesting and unexpected plot. It was a joy to read, it was really intriguing, and I was unable to put it down. Mrs. Dunn’s writing style is consistent, and as always, her characters simply shine.
For a decent chunk of the 00s and 10s (good) YA standalones were hard to find. Every kind of successful release got a sequel. So actually getting an organized, well-developed series that has one invested on every page, a series with memorable characters and an original plot behind it feels like a blessing. That’s what Pintip Dunn brought to the table with this series, it’s why you should pick it up if you haven’t. I doubt that you’ll be disappointed.

This is a good ending to the series! Although, I think Mrs. Dunn left enough material to consider a spinoff. Well, a girl can only hope.

Seize Today brings back the characters from prior books, Callie and Logan, Jessica and Tanner and it provides us with a new main couple: Olivia and Ryder.

Olivia's the Chairwoman Dresden's daughter. Her mother has never shown her love and despite the way she treats her, Olivia is always hoping her mother decides to do the right thing. Olivia is the only true precognitive in existence. She can see different pathways a person can take in their future. This, of course, has shown her things, she rather would have never known. For ten years, she secluded herself from the world but lately, she has spent time with Jessica, her mother's assistant. In most of the pathways, Olivia knows helping Jessica will help them save lives.

Ryder Russell is Mikey's adopted son. He's also Jessica's best friend or was until Jessica betrayed him. Ryder has a hard time trusting people. There's an event in his childhood that fomented his distrust. When he's captured and Olivia helps him escape, he doesn't want to trust her but he also doesn't want to part ways with her. He can tell how lonely Olivia is which tugs at his heartstrings.

Seize Today was full of action, emotion and sci-fi components that had me turning the pages. I've liked all the characters in this series and it was nice to see how the prior relationships were progressing as well as giving some needed love to two lonely souls. Both Olivia and Ryder had a bad childhood. Ryder was saved by Mickey and Angela while Olivia was not as lucky. It gave me pleasure to see Olivia's character opening up and fighting for her friends. Defying the Chairwoman didn't come easy for her but she did what needed to be done.

Kudos to Pintip Dunn for creating a great fantasy with memorable characters and interesting plotlines.

"In every pathway, and every time, yes."

Cliffhanger: No

This book is everything!!! Ok it's true that I'm rating purely on my emotions and how I'm feeling right now at the end of this tale but you know what, it just made me feel so much it deserves it! I will be critical in a second but first we gush about being able to see these people placed in these impossible situations and fight through them. They are strong and stupid and impulsive and courageous just they deserve all the stars as well.

I've always loved seeing Ryder in the other books so that he was one of our main focuses here made me very happy. And Olivia wasn't annoying how I found Jessa in the second book (not for the whole thing but a chunker there in the middle lol) so being in her head didn't bother me.

My only complaint was I wanted more. If this book had been longer or two books of the same length I feel like the emotional wreckage would have been epic! That's not to say this didn't hit the spot because it did but it's so fast paced it didn't give as much a chance to drag out the angst which I love but that's just personal opinion. But over all I'm obsessed with this series and I can't wait to read what this author writes next!

I'd like to thank NetGalley and Entangled Teen for providing me with a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

I'll be honest. The science part of this sci-fi was mostly lost on me. While I find the whole concept fascinating, it's pretty hard for me to actually follow it (yes, I stay away from the exact sciences, my brain can't deal with them). So there were several explanations and theories that just flew over my head. But that's okay.

The most bothersome struggle was with remembering what happened in the previous books and who the characters were in relation to each other and in the story. There were some mentions, but not enough to jolt my brain into really remembering what had taken place before this book.

As for Olivia itself, she is a lesson in how we need full context rather than fragments to act adequately. Her visions of the future tended to make her narrow her actions and take a given pathway for granted. She kept interpreting her visions, with no real basis, I felt (that is human, though).

In this final book in the Forget Tomorrow series, Pintip Dunn ups her game. Each scene had me sitting at the edge of my seat waiting to see what she had instore for her characters. I really loved Olivia. She hasn’t had it easy growing up. But even after a troubled childhood, she cares so deeply for others and wants so much to find a place where she belongs. To find a family she can love and count on. And she’s willing to sacrifice herself for those she does love. I couldn’t help but root for this wounded bird. And Ryder is her perfect match. He risks everything for his family and will do anything to save Olivia. I was thrilled to have all the characters back from the prior two books to conclude their stories and remind me why I cared so much for each of them. I missed my Tanner, and I fell even harder for him in Siege Today!

"Seize Today" was a great finale to a fantastic YA sci-fi/romance series. This third book wraps up all the plot lines we've been exposed to in the first two books as well as provides a new romantic couple for us to enjoy (but this is a much smaller part of this book). Here, we follow Olivia Dresden, the chairwoman's daughter, as she seeks to save the world she knows and loves as well as to find her own way. Being a precognitive and the daughter of a woman who has little to no interest in her, Olivia's life has been very isolating. Olivia clings to Jessa, now the chairwoman's assistant, whom she has seen in many of the possible futures as someone with whom she will work to save their world.

There is a new virus affecting people of all different walks of life with terrible symptoms- as they appear to be disappearing/degrading. Luckily (or maybe unluckily), the company that controls the government has developed a treatment for it, but the costs will be large. Olivia and team have a limited clock to figure out what it is and how to prevent the futures she saw as a young child. At the same time, Olivia finds herself connected through future memory to Ryder, who has some deep-seated trust issues. Despite her own issues, she connects with him in a way that she never has before, and together, they seek to help his family- and the rest of the world- as best they can.

The sci-fi dimensions of this series are really taken to another level in this third book- we've had future memory that ruled the dystopian society and time travel in the last two, and now we learn more about precognition (being able to see into the future) and potential realities. Jessa's precognition only goes a few seconds into the future, so she only sees futures that are set. Olivia sees all possible pathways that could occur, and this leads to the discussion of alternate timelines for paths that were not taken. Although she can try to predict which one will actually happen, she is often surprised by the results. Olivia is a fascinating character to follow and the perfect perspective for this thrilling conclusion to a brilliant series. Overall, I really enjoyed this book, and particularly how all the pieces of the puzzle we've been gathering since the first book came together so smoothly in this conclusion. For YA sci-fi/dystopian lovers, this series is a must read!

Please note that I received an ARC from the publisher through netgalley. All opinions are my own.

In what is certainly my favorite book in the Forget Tomorrow series, SEIZE TODAY is a wonderfully crafted tale that kept me on the edge of my seat from the very first page.

While I enjoyed all three books in this series, I have to say that Dunn has managed to make each book better and better as the series progressed, ending with this stunning conclusion. SEIZE TODAY brilliantly wraps up all the reader's lingering questions from the first two books, while throwing in some unexpected plot twists along the way.

The plot of this story is intense and fast-paced from the outset, and it's certainly a story that readers will want to finish in a single sitting.

Dunn has chosen the narrators for these three different books brilliantly, and she transitions between them in a way that serves to propel the overall narrative of the series forward, while giving readers even more insight into the characters and world.

I'm thrilled that Dunn chose to finish this series from Olivia's POV. Olivia is uniquely gifted in this world, being the only true precognitive, yet Dunn manages to also make her relatable and likable. She has a difficult and emotionally-evocative backstory. That combined with her caring nature will have readers rooting for her from the very beginning. I also enjoyed that her motivators really speak to the very basic human need of wanting to be loved and accepted.

The romance in this book took my by surprise with it's heart-pounding intensity. Prepare to swoon, because Ryder is destined to be a favorite book boyfriend amongst readers for a long, long time to come.

The sci-fi elements of all three books is so meticulous designed and absolutely fascinating. Dunn does a great job of delving even deeper into them in this final installment in the series while not allowing them to overshadow the overall plot of the story.

I was thrilled to see all the characters we loved from the first books back for the finale. It made the series as a whole feel cohesive and also created a very satisfying ending for fans of the first two books.

No matter how pleased I was with the ending, I am sad to see this series coming to an end, and I will eagerly be awaiting more novels from this author.

Disclosure, the author came to our store to do a signing a few years back. This does not alter or shape my review of this book. My opinions are my own.

This book was, in my opinion, much better than the second book, which I didn't really need to understand this one. I LOVED the relationship between Olivia and Ryder. SOOOO slow burn.

This was the best of the 3.5 books I think. You do need a bit of the first one to understand this one and they do flow in chronological order, but the books do a good enough background info non-dump that you don't miss too much if you read the books spaced far apart.

I enjoyed seeing characters from the other books in this one, getting to see the "HEA" for a few of my fav couples was nice.

The ending was a bit...not sure why things worked out ok and why the Chairwoman thought she needed to do what she did in order to save the world, but I may have missed something, as I flew through this book MUCH faster than anticipated.

3.5 stars, rounded up, as I liked how this ended the trilogy, even if I didn't quite understand the how, lol. 4 stars, definitely something different. Recommended if you like sci-fi type dystopian YA with LURVE.

My thanks to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC/Entangled: Teen for an eARC copy of this book to read and review.

Inhalt

«His hands drop fromm y neck, flutterin down my arms like falling leaves. „Never… trust you… again.“
„Forgive me,“ I whisper. But it’s too late.»

«Antsy, I flip over again. This time, however, I look right into Ryder’s deep, black eyes.
„Oh.“ I stifle a gasp. « I thought you were asleep.“
„With all the acrobatics going on overe there? Not a chance.“
I blush. « I… uh, couldn’t settle my mind.“
„Really?“ he says dryly. „And here I thought you ere practicing your routine for gold-star gymnastics.“»

«I feel every emotion that ever existed in any pathway in the world – but more than anything else, I just feel sorry for us all.»

It probably has more to do with my frame of mind rn that with the book per se, but very close to the ending I decided to stop reading it. It's not exactly discarding it with not having intentions to come back to it, because I care for the characters, but more like I didn't feel like I could get lost within the pages as I did previously, and feeling that despite everything every one of them would be saved.

I really like how Pintip Dunn writes, so I will probably come back to this one and see how the trilogy wraps itself up.

I received an eARC of this book via Netgalley. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of this review.

Seize Today
by Pintip Dunn is an amazing end to a thrilling series! This time the story revolves around Olivia Dresden, the world’s only true precognitive and picks up about 6 months after the end of Remember Yesterday. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about switching POV again as I loved Jessa’s story, but I think I may have enjoyed Olivia more.

Olivia is a broken, lost character. Unlike Callie and Jessa, Olivia has had a horrible upbringing. How could she not?! Chairwoman Dresden is her mother *shivers* Yet she always chooses to believe the best in everyone. She sees all possible futures, all the timelines at one time when she reaches into one person’s future. It can be overwhelming and she asked to be secluded after Callie’s sacrifice in Forget Tomorrow. For 10 years she lived alone. Now she’s back in the world thanks to Jessa. She’s trying to fight the future that has haunted her most of her life. She’s an optimist and realist, all rolled into one.

Then there’s Ryder, Mikey’s adopted son and Jessa’s best friend. I’m not sure how I felt about him here. He’s very closed off and distrustful, though I don’t blame him in the slightest when you know why he was sent to Harmony in the first place. His backstory breaks my heart! Yet unlike the risk-taking, fun-loving, loyal friend from Remember Yesterday, Ryder is actually mean at times and his actions contradict his words. I hated, really hated the difference in his friendship with Jessa. I understand why he was so angry with her, but I wanted to throttle the stubborn boy at the same time.

Together, I loved Olivia and Ryder. Their relationship was either of the first two explored in the series. Olivia is the enemy in Ryder’s eyes, and Ryder’s future memory makes him Olivia’s enemy, though it’s the last thing she wants. I enjoyed reading as their opinion of one another changes and the relationship begins to bud. It’s achingly sweet and tenuous.

The series arc comes to a head in this final book. I loved how the loose ends and answers are tied up. The timeline is starting to unravel, and Jessa, Olivia, and Callie have to figure out why and stop it. If they can’t stop it, then they have to find a way to save those they care for. It’s exciting and suspenseful, and I found myself engrossed right to the last page. A warning though: if you don’t enjoy sci-fi, then you may not enjoy this final installment of the series. Unlike the first two books, Seize Today goes more into the science behind precog, future memory, time travel, and alternate dimensions. I enjoyed it, but I also love sci-fi.

Overall I really enjoyed this series. I felt the author did a fantastic job in concluding the series. My only complaint about this book (and it is why I dropped it from 5 to 4 stars) is the end. It felt rushed. A lot happens….I do mean A LOT! And then the book just ends. It’s an appropriate ending, but I do wish there was a little bit more of a resolution after the climax. Instead there’s an epilogue which I felt was appropriate but I also felt let down in a way. Note that this is only my opinion. It was still a fantastic read! If you’ve enjoyed the series so far, enjoy dystopia and time travel, I highly recommend you grab a copy ASAP!

I feel like this series devolved quite a bit. I really liked the first book, and then the second was okay, but this one felt kind of lazy to me. Callie was an interesting character, which made up for Logan’s flatness. Jessa and Tanner were both better characters, but their storyline didn’t work as well for me. Olivia and Ryder don’t do it for me.
Perhaps it’s because their character types are usually my favorite in stories. The shadow, made a little crazy by her abilities, and the wounded beau with abandonment issues. But this is the most two dimensional renderings of these character types that I’ve read in a while. Ryder was *constantly* reminding the reader that he can’t trust people, and he was very obnoxious about it. Olivia was better, but became very flat in Ryder’s presence. Not to mention the storyline is my least favorite time travel trope.
On the positive side: This author can write a good plot twist ending. She did it very successfully in the first book, and pretty well in this finale. I do appreciate that. I think that Pintip Dunn has a lot of potential and I hope to be seeing more of her work in the future, with the improvements that most authors make as they become more experienced.

I loved this book, and I'm so glad it was a happy ending, unlike some stories in this genre. Seize Today is the last book in a trilogy, and these books need to be read in order.

Olivia can see future pathways of people's choice. Unfortunately, this doesn't help her be any less socially awkward. She wants more than anything to be loved. Her mother is a head strong dictator, who is determined to get her own way, but at the cost of kindness. Olivia doesn't believe she will ever find someone who wants her even when she sees it in her future with Ryder.

Ryder has his own trust issues, but he sees the good in Olivia, and can't ignore it. The problem is he has been given his future memory, and he supposed to kill her.

Seize Today wraps up this trilogy and explains the dystopian world the characters find themselves in. I absolutely love this series, and I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through. Highly recommend. 5 out of 5.

*Thoughts*

Seize Today, by author Pintip Dunn, is the third and final installment in the authors Forget Tomorrow trilogy. For summary sake, Seize Today begins 6 months after the ending of Remember Yesterday. If you remember anything about that story, you should remember how the story ended, and why Jessa did what she did. If you haven't read Remember Yesterday, or Forget Tomorrow, you really should do so in order to understand what has happened to this point, and who the main characters of this trilogy are.

I absolutely loved this final installment in the Forget Tomorrow trilogy! We follow Olivia Dresden as she attempts to save her world from a tragic end. This book is JAM PACKED with action and the storyline is so complex. I feel like I loved absolutely everything about this book. So much happened and I loved reading from Olivia's perspective since we didn't get much from/about her in the other two books. Everything came together so well and I absolutely loved the ending. I was sent this ARC by the publisher and I am so grateful to them for giving me the opportunity to read it!

Review in Italian: https://lalibreriadij.wordpress.com/2...

At last this beautiful trilogy came to its conclusion, and it couldn't have been any better.
I did not know what to expect from the books of this trilogy before reading them because the narrators always change and so the plot reflects the thoughts of the new characters. I started the first book and I fell in love with Logan and Callie and the plot in general with these future memories transferred from people to the their younger selves to know where they will go in their lives, and how not everything is already written but that we can change our fate through the actions we take in the present.
Then it was the turn of Jessa (Callie's sister) and Tanner and the plot that developed ten years after the first book. In this second chapter is presented a new challenge for the protagonists: what are really the future memories? And how are they created? Who is the inventor of future memories?
The third book, however, is developed following Olivia and Ryder, who had already been introduced in the previous books and who now have the role of the protagonists at last.
I particularly liked this last chapter, not just for the ever-thickest plot and the scientific informations behind the various theories that are being developed (also present in the first two books) but especially for the protagonist who finally finds herself, her value and her purpose in life. Having lived first her childhood as a marginalized person, excluded in her own society because of her precognitive ability, and then living her teenager years in isolation, she never developed strong human relationships (not even with her parents) and that has profoundly marked her. Just doing the right thing for society, for her world, has led her to come forward and make her decisions without fear, leaving her position of Shadow and becoming her own person.
The love story between her and Ryder is cute and just about right sweet. It is not too hurried considering the situation in which the protagonists are and there is the right dose of conflict of feelings that is always good.
Recomended? Yep.

A super special thank you goes to Entangled Teen for allowing me to read a copy of this early! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

4.5 stars

I seriously couldn't be more satisfied with an ending to a trilogy like I am with this one. I mean, I'm just blown away at everything this book has to offer. The concept of time travel and realm traveling fit into a dystopian society. What more could you want in a book and in a series?

In this book, we follow Olivia, the Chairwoman's daughter. My poor poor Olivia. This child is the most broken of the three POVs we got during the series. She is a precognitive, which means she can see people's futures. The concept of her precog is really cool. She can't predict the future per se, but can see different paths people have the option to take.

Like I said before, Olivia is very broken. Her mother doesn't love her. She has no real friends and doesn't think she is worthy of any friends or family. She is basically a pawn in her mother's world. What a terrible existence for someone to grow up in. I can understand why she did the actions that she did during the course of the book. But I'm glad that she had character growth and started to understand what it means to have a family.

Ryder wasn't as involved in the book as the other love interests were, which was kind of upsetting. I liked Ryder and having known him from the previous books, it was nice to see him a bit more grown up. It just would have been nice for him and Olivia to have more conversations and things like that.

Overall, though, I really can't complain with this book and the series as a whole. It was tied up together very nicely. It set up for other books, if the author chooses, along with novellas. But nothing makes me more happy then a well done series with a crisp clean ending.

Seize Today is the perfect ending to the Forget Tomorrow series. Although it saddens me that the Trilogy is now over, I am perfectly content and happy with how everything ended. I would really appreciate a 3.5 novella; it would be a really interesting follow up short story to read.

Things I am obsessed with:

The Title of each book in the series. The 1st book is Forget Tomorrow, the 2nd is Remember Yesterday, and the final book is Seize Today. The titles weren't only a catchy, smart way to name the books in this series, but each one had a storyline that is summarized in those two words that compose the title.

Each book focus on one female main character, and her love interest. The 1st book starred Callie, and the 2nd book starred her sister, Jessa. The final book though revolves around Olivia, the daughter of the chairwoman.

Pints Dunn perfectly tied up all of the loose ends, but not in a way that makes you feel like this could have been added to the 2nd book. In Seize Today, we get the story told from a fresh perspective, which in its own, adds multiple dilemmas to the story.

The adventure isn't the only feature of this story. Romance, Family, and Friendship have a great role in Seize Today. Especially the romance, the I love you, I hate you kind of romance. Definitely swoon worthy!

Trust, betrayal, love, hate, and friendship, these are all words that describe the story of Seize Today.

Pintip will take you on a Rollercoaster of emotions, and trust me when I say that you don't want to miss out on it.

Wow. Just, wow. Pintip Dunn concludes her sparkling Forget Tomorrow series with this gem of a dystopian ya offering.
Did I say, wow?

Seize today is beautifully and expertly plotted and paced, and the stakes are so real and meaningful, they kept me turning pages like mad. Pintip is a master of emotions and description, too. Just a beautiful and powerful read.

Olivia shines as the main character. I loved watching her bloom and blossom. She was written with sensitivity, interesting flaws, authenticity, and a beautiful and caring heart. All of these traits combine to make her an endearing and courageous heroine.

Run, don't walk to get this one. Teens will love the brilliant story.

Futuristic, Dystopian, Well Plotted YA Read
From Olivia's POV
That was quite an ending to a wonderful series.
Livvy, the only true Precognitive of their time and also the Chairwoman's daughter had lived a sheltered life. She neither had friends nor the love of her mother and was named 'Shadow' by her mother's employees. However, everything changed when Ryder, the boy whom she foresaw would kill her in the future, entered her life.
This series was totally awesome!!!
The plot was well structured. Although the ending was somewhat cliche, and Olivia, too righteous, I still enjoyed every part of it.

Perfect end to the Forget Tomorrow trilogy. Pintip Dunn took the story places that I would've never seen coming, but having just re-read Forget Tomorrow and Remember Yesterday, I know that it was set up in the previous books. The chemistry between Olivia and Ryder was palpable, and I loved seeing the other characters who we've grown to know, like Callie, Logan, Jessa, and Tanner. And seriously, Tanner and what he says to Olivia at one point made me love him even more than I did in Remember Yesterday.

Amazing read that I highly recommend!

In Pintip Dunn's Forget Tomorrow, memories are sent back in time to shape each person's future. After Callie Stone receives a memory that shows her killing her sister, she goes on a mission to discover not only why she would commit such a horrible act, but to stop an even worse crime from happening. Remember Yesterday follows Callie's sister Jessa ten years later in her determination to reunite her family and resolve some of the complications that occurred in the earlier book.

Seize Today is the third and final installment in the series and takes place six months on from Remember Yesterday. This time it is Olivia's turn to be in the spotlight. She is the daughter of the tyrannical Chairwoman Dresden, who is the nemesis of the Underground - those seeking to change the future for the better. I was excited to get more of an insight into Olivia's personality, history and thoughts about the sequence of events that transpired in the previous novels. I enjoyed being reunited with characters I already knew and was intrigued to find out what had happened to them.

This book provides a deeper understanding of the difficult and complicated relationship between Olivia and the chairwoman. Olivia craves love above everything else, but thinks she is somehow undeserving of it. Her only affection comes from her mother in an alternative vision of her life. In reality, Chairwoman Dresden is both physically and emotionally abusive toward her. However, Olivia views a future where her mother is kind, so she believes she might not be a complete monster. She sees better versions of the future that come from paths her mother could have picked, but chose not to. Most fascinating was to see there might be another side to the chairwoman.

Olivia reveals strength as she rises above her insecurities. Being a precognitive, she sees the many different paths each individual's future could take, including potential tragedies she is unable to change. Her love interest, Ryder offers a genuine connection that she was never able to have before. He is also a mystery to her. Their dynamic is intense and strained even more by the future memory he has of killing her.

The story itself is thrilling with the action, suspense and dangerous scenarios I've come to expect from this author. Seize Today brings the marvellous and breathtaking Forget Tomorrow trilogy to its satisfying conclusion. As with the previous books, it stresses that the path you choose will influence the person you become in the future. It is riveting and emotional, with plenty of new surprises. Dunn has invented an imaginative, exciting world filled with inspiring characters I've come to care about.

I have loved this series from the beginning, and this was a perfect ending. I liked that we had a change in narrator, in keeping with the first 2 books. Book 1 was from Callie's POV, book 2 from Jessa's, and this third book was from the POV of Olivia Dresden, daughter of the Chairwoman and the only true precognitive in New Eden.

I was happy to see all of the important characters from the first 2 books involved in this final installment -- Callie and Logan, Jessa and Tanner, Mikey and Angela and Ryder, and Callie and Jessa's parents, as well as the Chairwoman and Olivia. It was "fun" to see if and how the future memories of the characters that we'd seen in the first 2 books would play out, and whether or not Olivia's visions of the future would come to pass.

I really liked Olivia, and I enjoyed the story from her perspective. That's one great thing about the trilogy as a whole -- all 3 of the narrators were likable and easy to root for, and I was invested in each girl's story. In this book, we got closer to Olivia, of whom we'd only seen a little in the previous books. You could really feel her pain with respect to her relationship with her mother, who remained as despicable as she had been before. At the same time, we got to learn more about the Chairwoman's past and her motives for all of the awful things she'd done. While I don't think I could've done what she did, we at least got to learn *why* she did these things we see as horrendous, and how she truly believed she was doing the right thing.

I'll leave it at that so as not to give anything away, but I'll end with this: SEIZE TODAY is a great ending to a wonderful series! I'm really glad I read this series, and I can't wait to get to Pintip's 2 standalone books, THE DARKEST PART and GIRL ON THE VERGE, both of which are sitting on my shelf!

Thanks to Entangled Teen for the early review copy. This is my honest rating and review.

Thank you to Entangled Teen and Netgalley for a copy of the eARC in exchange for a fair review.

This is the 3rd and final book in the series, I highly suggest starting with the first book. Spoilers will follow if you haven't read the first two books.

Olivia is a precognitive, she can see almost every possible future and know the percentage chance of it happening. When Ryder is taken prisoner after trying to get medicine for Callie, and he has his future vision. In which he kills Olivia, she knows that she has do whatever she can to help Callie.

Ryder doesn't trust Olivia and he trust her even less after she injects him with something in order to get him out of the facility. However, he knows that she is determined to help and he finally gives in and lets her return to their town. Once there Olivia realizes that everyone is starting to come down with this virus.

Olivia begins to realize this is a much larger problem then they realized and as they move back towards the facility so that she can help them get the vaccine things begin to spiral out of control. Will Olivia be able to help save everyone? Or will their whole time stream be deleted?

I must admit I didn't like Olivia very much in the first book, she grew on me in the second, but I loved her in this one. It really becomes clear why and what she is doing and that despite having her mother behave they way she does, Olivia still has a huge heart and keeps trying to do things to save everyone.

I enjoyed every bit of this series, I highly recommend this series!

I received a review copy from Netgalley.

Rating: 4.5/5 stars

This was excellent! A well-crafted story. I absolutely loved how the author pulled in elements from book 1 to this book. I loved the complex nature of the plot. I loved all the "Oh, now I get it!" moments when earlier things started to make sense. I couldn't predict the book at all, which made for a really good reading experience. The characters are really interesting and endearing for the most part. Olivia is a great protagonist, and I like how the villain is multi-layered.

A few small critiques:
1. I really liked the romance and both of the characters involved, but it felt oddly paced at times, almost like we were skipping steps. I wanted to see more of their interactions.
2. I wanted to know more about what Jessa was up to, even though she wasn't the main character in this book.
3. The world is so intricate that some things had to be explained quickly, and I understand that. I think the intricate world is awesome. But there's so much I want to know more about, and there wasn't space to delve into all of it. But when a book leaves you wanting more, that's good. I'll just have to go read a physics textbook about time travel. (Ha.)

If you like time travel, time manipulation, time loops, etc., I think you should give this trilogy a try.

Seize Today is the compelling finale to the Forget Tomorrow Trilogy. I was surprised to find that this is one of those series that I loved each book even more than the last.

Seize Today focuses mostly on Olivia Dresden, the only true precognitive, and also the chairwoman's daughter. While Olivia was in the other books as well, I loved getting to know her better in Seize Today. She may just be my favorite character yet! She is strong yet vulnerable, and is determined to always try to do the right thing, even when she believes she never does. She is so powerful yet feels powerless to save the world even as she desperately tries again and again. Her romance with Ryder is just oh so perfect and had me rooting for them fiercely.

All the dystopian/science fiction aspects of the book were really cool and definitely kept things interesting. Future memory, time travel, and parallel realms, it has it all. I liked that it never got confusing though and that these things were explained naturally and simply, never stalling the flow of the story. I highly recommend the Forget Tomorrow Trilogy to fans of YA dystopian/science fiction romance.

Olivia is my favorite character in this series, so I was enthralled with the idea of having her as the narrator in this book. I really love how this series is effective in pulling characters from the previous books and having them make appearances in the next ones. By this book, all of the characters seem like old friends and their storylines all are interconnected. I am a huge fan of interconnected storylines. The time travel and sci-fi elements were turned up a notch in this one, and it read as more of a Sci-fi than a dystopian. If you like a time travel plot, this one was unique and very interesting. The sci-fi elements were very well done and were well explained and thought through. I feel that Olivia is the most complex character in the series, and it was such a joy to be able to read things from her point of view instead of just seeing her actions. Her inner dialogue is very conflicted, and she has many more amazing character traits than were previously revealed or that she even realizes. Through using different narrators each book, whenever a character would do something questionable or confusing, having the perspective of their book’s narration really helps. This really helps to avoid labeling characters as “good vs evil” or “mean vs kind”. I really liked that Olivia’s point of view was the last book, as she was at the center of it all and has the power to either save or destroy everything. This was a very satisfying conclusion to the series!

"En résumé, un tome 3 qui clôt parfaitement cette super série. Une vraie dystopie comme je les aime, avec son lot de surprises, de révélations et des personnages qui évoluent à chaque tome. Ici, être du point de vue d'Olivia, la fille de la présidente, était un gros plus pour comprendre l'univers global. Je ne regrette absolument pas cette lecture, et je vous conseille de vous plonger dans cette série, maintenant que tous les tomes sont disponibles !"
