I’m a monster. That’s what Brandon thinks when he flees the medical institute that changed him. Living a normal life isn’t in the cards for him because, while he can hide his scaly skin, his wings are hard to miss. So he runs and lives in the shadows where monsters belong. What he didn’t expect to find were others just like him, and they call themselves dragons. Or so Aimi with the violet eyes tells him when she pins him to the ground.
Seriously, though, dragons?
He doesn’t want to believe, but the evidence is mounting. Not helping his resolve is the fact that the woman with the silver hair doesn’t fear the monster and wants to claim him. However, before he can think of his own happiness, he has to rescue his little sister. Uncle Theo kidnapped her, and Brandon will do anything to get her back, even if he must embrace the monster to become the dragon.
Hello, my name is Eve Langlais and I am an International Bestselling author who loves to write hot romance, usually with werewolves, cyborgs or aliens .
I should warn you, I have a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing. While well known for my shifter stories, I am also extremely partial to aliens, the kind who like to abduct humans and then drive them insane...with pleasure. Or do you like something a little darker, more serious? Then check out my cyborgs whose battle with humanity have captivated readers worldwide.

The Hero:Brandon - his wealthy uncle Theo came to town and asked if Brandon wanted to work for the uncle’s company Bit-Tech. Lured by the promise of wealth, he took the offer and now he has been changed into something not human by the scientists who spliced his DNA. Well, he wasn’t exactly born human. He was born a gator shifter, but now is something different, a monster. He runs from the Lab, fearing what his uncle Theo will do to his sister Sue Ellen, whom he has hidden somewhere.
The heroine:Aimi - she and her sister are watching CNN when a news story comes on about the fact that shapeshifters are real. Though Aimi and her family already knew that, since they weren’t human either. Aimi is an elite silver dragon. She still lived with her family since in her world, only married girls moved out to start their families. Aimi and her sister were only one year from being considered spinsters which means they will have to live with their mother forever. Apparently only certain males can mate with silver dragons, so they needed to find mates soon.
The Story: with the fact that humans now know about non-humans, there is a new danger in the shifter world, especially for Brandon since his wings showed all the time. At one point on his search for his sister, Brandon meets Aimi and she tells him he is a dragon, but he doesn’t believe that dragons exist, and he identified as a gator shifter before the DNA experiments.
This audiobook was told in dual points of view via solo narration. It was narrated by Chandra Skye. She has a nice voice and speaks in a good tempo. She is able to show emotions through her voice though she doesn’t have the best male voice and she whispered at times which confused me, it seemed like when their beasts were talking, but it wasn’t all that clear. I wish this was done in dual narration instead of solo.
The story got better as it went along, though I didn’t like Aimi much, she was a bit crazy and from a wealthy family, she acted like a bit of a prissy girl who is used to the finer things, and she knows she is pretty and thinks she is awesome. The whisper talking narration really bothered me as well. However, I liked the way that Aimi and her family kept insisting Brandon was a dragon and he didn’t believe it. He turned out to be all that and a bag of chips.
Purch. Amazon Nov. 9, 2018 Becoming Dragon by Eve Langlais Genres: Adult, Paranormal, Romance 2.5 Stars 😡🙎🏼♀️
First I want everyone to know I am a huge Eve Langlais fan. I mean HUGE
However, I am not a fan of this book. I was very disappointed with many of the elements in it.
1st up are the mc's, Brandon & Aimi. They both talk & behave like they are between 14 & 16 years old for about 90% of the story. They are supposed to be close to 30 years old. I not only did not connect to either of them, but came close to despising them by the end of the story.
There are a few good parts in the story. Small doses of humor. Here is one of my favorites;
".....His aunt Tanya was famous for her Frenemy Soup."
Other than that, the rest just drove me crazy.
The scenes are jumpy. The writing, characters etc lean towards 'YA'. (I do not intentionally read anything 'ya'.)
Way to many words wasted on descriptions of everything. And I mean EVERYTHING! Every minute detail. I think the only thing not described in detail is what toilet paper was used & by whom.
Repetitive. Shall we see how many different ways I can say the word 'repetition' with & without the word repetitive. 'Good Lord Have Mercy! You could fill Florida's swamp land with all the repetitive inner dialogue and unnecessary filler words.
By 76% there is yet another interrupted sex scene & quite frankly I just didn't care if they ever did or didn't 'Do The Deed'. I just wanted to see 'The End'.
If the rest of her books in this series are like this one...... Then it is a big 'NO' for me.
And that actually makes my heart hurt. That's how much I love Eve Langlais. The fact I hated this story makes me want to cry.
You know you're not really into the book when sleep trumps said book. And I only had 20 pages left. So this would be the climax of the story. . .
2.75 "I'm trying very hard to do it justice" stars.
I like to think I've read a lot of Dragon books and seeing as how there aren't that many as it is, I should be near expert level.
I do. I really do. :p
Well anydragonscale, let's just say I've been around the block and so I can safely say, This was different. I'm not quite sure in a good way cause creating dragon shifters through DNA splicing just messes with the natural majesty that is Dragons.
Buut! I liked the "hoarding" thing.
Aimi and her fam-jam were interesting, Brand and his pity party for one, not so much.
Disclaimer: I will be reading the next book solely because of Aimi's cockblocking twin. ;) xD
Story: Becoming Dragon is about... you guessed it - dragons! And it's by Eve Langlais, so I knew I was in for some good laughs. Plus steamy romance, and I also got a rather down to earth and doubting hero. Brandon had been experimented on, and with his DNA sliced, he was in a weird hybrid form that made him think of himself as a monster. Aimi, however, did not find him to be monstrous at all. Quite the opposite, which made for some humorous scenes.
Searching for his sister, kidnapped by his uncle Theo Parker - owner and scientist of Bit Tech - Brandon really didn't have time for Aimi. Even if it felt good to have someone look at him with admiration for once since he had been changed. Becoming Dragon included several dragon families, and they were fierce! Led by matriarchs, their society was different than what is usually depicted in fiction.
There was plenty of action in Becoming Dragon, with Brandon learning more about what he might become, fights mid-air, and scary powers, I was entertained from start to finish. Characters: Brandon was almost broken psychologically due to both what had been done to him, and what Bit Tech had made him do. He needed to learn to love and respect himself again. And at the same time, he had to embrace his other self, who gave him dubious advice at best.
Aimi was awesome! Headstrong, with awesome powers and enough wit to outsmart even the most hardened villain.
The other characters will probably have their own stories in upcoming installments, and I can't wait to learn more about them all. Narrators : Chandry Skyye is an OK narrator, but not my favorite. Her pace is a little slow, and her range of different voices could be better. I will definitely continue with this series, though, because it made my commute fun. Feels : So many feels once more, both Brandon's doubts and Aimi's positivity were felt through their dialogues. Their attraction was palpable, and I can't wait to read more about these dragons.
Dragon Point is a spinoff of Eve Langlais' Bitten Point series, which you may recall featured gator shifters down in the Florida Everglades. I have only read the first book of that series so I had the gist of what was going on and I didn't feel overly lost (absent a few character references)... however I am glad that I had read at least one book so I knew some of the background story. I would recommend at least starting with that series so you know about Bitek and some of the atrocities that occurred. If you aren't able to read any of that series, know that Bitek is a shifter-owned and run genetic testing facility that is experimenting on shifters and humans alike in a bid for world domination.
Brandon Mercer was a regular ol' swamp gator (shifter) who got caught and coerced by his Uncle Parker to sacrifice himself and remain at Bitek while they conducted genetic experiments, turning him into a monster. Parker has Brandon's sister and dangles her well-being over his head to keep Brandon compliant. Brandon escaped during some unexplained event at Bitek and now he must keep to the shadows to avoid scaring the general populace, who might just shoot him full of silver. Brandon had an almost single-minded focus to find and rescue his sister, yet he must deal with his new reality, particularly the fear that he is losing himself to his beast.
Aimi Silvergrace is a silver dragon, a shifter type that most other shifters don't know exist because they went into hiding so long ago. The dragons matriarchal society see themselves as royalty and hold themselves (and the knowledge of their existence) above others of the shapeshifter races. Aimi is running against a sort of society-imposed biological clock, and she must find and mate a male dragon before her 28th birthday. Aimi and her female relatives had all the stereotypical dragon characteristics... arrogance, greed, hoarding and haughty behavior.
Aimi was delighted to find a handsome unmated male dragon in his hybrid form, even though he doesn't believe dragons exist. While she would have liked to claim him right away, this was not an instalove story. Our couple negotiated an arrangement and kinda worked together toward a common goal. This was not any kind of touchy feely love story, and I felt somewhat disconnected from it all. I would have liked more character development and depth, or something to get me emotionally invested in the story. Aimi's female relatives did cause a few chuckles, but I would have also liked to see more humor injected into the story.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this audiobook that I received from the publisher, Tantor Audio..
Becoming Dragon is the first book in a new series by Langlais and this is, as the series name suggests, about dragons. With her usual wit, humour and feisty heroines, Eve creates a world that was fun to enter into. While Brandon’s did become a little whiny in some places, this was still enjoyable and I’m sure will be a hit with all her fans.
Becoming Dragon by Eve Langlais A romping good time. First in the series where shifters are outed to the world. Where a science crazy egomaniac turns his nephew into a dragon. Where the dragon then finds a mate. Sexy, fun and irreverent. With lots of the "F" word thrown around.
First the Arctic shifters of Kodiak Point, then it was down in the swamps for Bitten Point, but, now, we have the dragons of Dragon Point, those elitist shifters who are far above the rest- or so they say... But, what they are is secret as in so secret that nobody, even the other shifters, know about them. Or so they thought. A fun new paranormal romantic adventure for a poor gator shifter turned into a monster and a svelte, sassy silver dragon who believes he's her match.
As I said, Dragon point is a spin off of a spin off. It flows out of the earlier stories, but is flexible, and newbies can get away with jumping in here.
Brandon Mercer was a gator shifter from a small town near the swamps until his own uncle betrayed him by kidnapping him and turning him into an experiment and used his sister's remaining untouched from experimentation to make Brandon do his will. Brandon escapes, but as a lizard creature, he has to stick to the shadows as he trails his uncle's movements hoping to get a chance at rescuing his sister. Then, one night, he encounters a crazy beauty who claims she's a dragon, but the really crazy thing is that she claims he's a dragon and she's claiming him as her mate. Yeah... right...
Aimi is an elite silver dragon and she's nearing her sell by date without having made a match. Her race is struggling and every female needs to do her part. Her mother parades losers by her and she won't have them. But, then an encounter with a dragon holding a hybrid shift between dragon and man shocks her by not realizing he's a dragon or that dragons exist. Aimi has her work cut out for her with this cutie and she's up for a fun romp to rescue his sister and thump his uncle for threatening to expose her race like he did the lowly shifters.
Becoming Dragon was an entertaining mayhem filled story from start to finish. Brandon is the straight guy among all the over the top crazy dragons who have a rather different outlook on things. This author writes a great balance of comedy, excitement, and spice that makes me eagerly pick up her books when I want uncomplicated and fun.
This was a first of series and introduced a whole new race. The dragon culture was interesting. Aimi's background and her family was developed more as a result. The bad guy is a carry over from the earlier series and is shaping up to be the series-long villain. Brandon's home and background is not developed so much here in this story, but that is because it follows through from the Bitten Point series.
Brandon and Aimi were an entertaining pair. He's got a lot on his mind and wants to brood over his fate, but Aimi isn't having it. He's perfect and exciting and just right for her whether he turns out to be a dragon or a unique shifter experiment. He slowly starts to come into his own and lets her coax him into believing he's worthy of a silver dragon. Sexy times and flirty dialogue accompany the growing feelings between them.
The hints at the end of this one set up at least two more stories and left me jazzed to see what comes next. More dragons and that wacky family of silvers. Those who enjoy lighter paranormal romance with more than a pinch of spice should definitely give these a try.
2,5? 3? Not sure. When the book began I remembered why I had stopped reading Eve Langlais, it's because of her heroines. To highlight how strong they are, they become too overbearing, never listening to anyone even for their own security. Here the dragons are ruled by the females, the males are bred to be obedient, so when the heroine meets the hero she doesn't listen to anything, believing only her wishes are worth. As she says herself, she's the center of the world. Fortunately she evolves a bit and he shows some backbone, and the balance gets better. As for the hero I thought he was wallowing a bit too much at first, but being experimented on then being stuck in a semi-shift can do that to anyone I guess. I didn't like his "I'm-not-good-enough-for-her" moments, that's where having a very strong heroine came in handy as she opposed him each time. There's a lot of funny bordering on WTF moments as usual with this author. The plot with the mad uncle is interesting and I'll read the next to know how it evolves.
This is a story about Brandon's journey of becoming a dragon. Along the way there is some humour, some emotions and some evil characters. Brandon's love interest is Aimi. This is a good story for those who enjoy shifter books. I found the characters in this one a bit young for my taste. Still, it is well-written and delivers on the genre.
A very entertaining paranormal romance with lots of humor. I loved the heroine “I am the center of the universe” who made this story so good even when the hero got a bit overly stubborn. I am looking forward to the rest of the series. Brandon escapes the facility that turned him into a monster then lurks about trying to save his sister when he is discovered by dragon Aimi.
Brandon finds out that his rich uncle Theo has kidnapped his sister and in order to keep her safe, Brandon agree's to be experimented on in Theo's lab. Brandon starts out as a gator shifter but after the experiments he thinks he's just a monster when he's actually a Dragon shifter who is stuck half way between forms. He escapes the lab and his uncle in order to find his sister and save her from Theo after Theo tells the world that shifters are real and have been living among humans for a long time. Aimi finds Brandon on a rooftop and claims him as her mate. At first he thinks she crazy since he doesn't believe in Dragons or the fact that she thinks he's handsome in his hybrid form. But he slowly starts to believe her and her family after they help him.
Aimi's family is super funny, they get in her business all the time and the remarks between them made me laugh out loud several times. Aimi's family also helps Brandon find his sister but things aren't exactly the way that he thought they'd be. Uncle Theo is crazy, even more crazy than I first thought and there's more going on than we see in this book so I hope we get more information about Brandon's sister and what she's up to in the next book.
This was a great first book to this series and made me intrigued for the next book and more of the story. I love Brandon and Aimi, their romance was a wild, fun one that had me laughing. When the humans find out about shifters, it does make it hard for shifters to live peacefully among them because some humans are paranoid and afraid. It doesn't help that videos are being released showing the bad side of shifters either.
I've always loved this author's books but this is now one of my favorites.
I enjoyed this read. The fact that it felt a bit like a role reversal between the main leads really appealed to me. I really liked Aimi, her whole personality was just so much fun, arrogance and snobbery included. The way she and Brand interacted and developed their relationship was a lot of fun. I wasn’t a big fan of how things came together, especially with Sue-Ellen and Uncle Theo but we move.
My review and an extended sample of the audiobook are posted at Hotlistens.com.
Dragon Point is a spin off series from Bitten Point, which is a spin off from Kodiak Point series. While all the series are lightly connected, they can each be read without having read the series prior to it. If you want to read the stories in chronological order, you should start with Kodiak Point. Read those five books (and a Christmas novella that is really fun), then tackle Bitten Point and then Dragon Point. Again, you can read them completely separate from each other too.
The big difference in this story is that Dragon Point isn’t a place like Kodiak Point and Bitten Point. This is a dragon society. Dragons have kept themselves hidden. Even the shifters don’t realize that dragons exist. There are many different septs of dragon. They are broken out by color. Our heroine is part of the silver sept. There are many other septs including red, blue, yellow, etc. There are even stories about a gold sept, which would be the most powerful, if they weren’t extinct. They each have their own territories.
This story starts off with Brandon, who we meet in Bitten Point. He was born a gator shifter, however, his uncle experimented on him and changed him into a lizard man with wings. He’s been on the run for a few years. He originally went along with his uncle’s plans because his uncle has his little sister. But finally escaped. Now he is trying to find his sister so he can rescue her.
He stumbles upon Aimi. She must mate or be forced to live with her overbearing mother forever. The rules that dragons set up to try to increase their numbers since the Middle Ages require that females must mate and reproduce with good dragon stock. Aimi and her twin sister have less than a year to find a mate. However, there are more female dragons than males. Her mother wants her to just find a man that she can mate, not for love, but for babies, just like the mother had.
So this is exactly what I expected from an Eve Langlais book. It had stubborn women and men with more than their fair share of snark. The heroine has crazy family members. There is a ton of humor. I loved the new dragon world that she’s created within the shifter world of the previous two series. I’m excited to see more book in this series. I want to see more of these dragons. And lastly, you must try this series because DRAGONS!!
Narration 3.5 Hearts Chandra Skyye is again the narrator of this series. She’s also narrated the Kodiak Point and Bitten Point series (as well as Eve’s Sci-Fi series Space Gypsy Chronicles). While she isn’t my favorite narrator, I’ve gotten used to her. She does an okay job. The voices of the book are different, however, she doesn’t have a wide range of voices, so new characters in a book will sound like a different character in a previous book.
**I like to thank the publisher for providing me with a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
I love to read shapeshifter themes, they fascinate me, and I firmly believe that Ms. Langlais is one, if not the best, at this theme. However, I have to admit I have a love/hate relationship with her books; some of them have let me very unsatisfied.
Becoming Dragon really surprised me. I thought that this new series being a spin-off of Bitten Point series (which I didn't enjoy much), wouldn't be enjoyable. But the story caught me since the first chapter, and I can't explain how much I laughed and savored every moment; I didn't want it to end.
Becoming Dragon is the story of Brandon Mercer, the brother of Wes Mercer (Gator's Challenge, Bitten Point) with whom their uncle was experimenting. After all the madness in that last book, Brandon managed to escape; nevertheless, he felt responsible for his other sister, who was also retained by their uncle, Theodore Parker. After all the experiments done to him by Theodore's hands at Bittech, Brad thought of himself as a monster, and that if he couldn't live either with humans or shifters, the only goal left for him was to save his little sister. That's until a particular young lady landed on the same roof as him saying that he was a dragon and deciding that he was going to be hers.
Aimi Sillvergrace is the descendant of a family of silver dragons. Because the dragon's species is nearly extinct, and that almost every offspring in this silver lineage is female, Aimi is intended to marry before her 28th birthday or otherwise she will be artificially inseminated with a random dragon donator. However, this is something that she doesn't want; she doesn't even aspire to have a marriage for love, but she would do better to get out of her mother's house. And then she meets Brad, a random night on a roof and bam.
I don't know how to describe Aimi; she is sassy, beautiful, stubborn, with a big, big ego. I laughed so much with her, she definitely is on my top 5 of favorite female characters. I enjoyed her character more than Brandon's, she was so full of life, while he was so full of debuts, and together made the perfect couple.
Except for some time while reading Brandon's point of view, there wasn't a single aspect that I didn't love this book. It had the perfect amount of sexual content, a lot of fun scenes, a sweet romance, good writing, everything. I am so excited to see how this series will progress, can't wait for the next book.
I loved Aimi. She always kept him on his toes and I loved that she was persistent, but not in a bad way. She was a strong lead female with a crazy family that you just had to love. She reminded me of the lead female fox that got with Boris the moose...I'm blanking on the name. But the personality between the two was fantastic.
Brandon was great. Once he got past the 'woe is me, I'm hideous' (which didn't last very long) stuff he was hilarious and a strong lead that complimented Aimi. He had a goal and he was strong enough to fight for it, even if I felt bad for him when he reached it. I loved him.
As always it was hilarious, but not overly done. I can't wait to read the rest of this series.
I’m guessing this book will not be for everyone because it’s very different than about 90% of what’s out there right now in paranormal romance land. But for me? It was AWESOME.
Plot overview: Brandon, a gator shifter who has escaped from an evil genetic lab who forced him into unwanted experiments and servitude, is doing his best to avoid society and find his sister who is still a prisoner of the lab when he meets Aimi, a feisty dragon shifter intent on claiming him as her own. Hijinks ensue. Here’s what readers will have to be able to accept before they’ll enjoy this one:
1. Brandon is a little broken from his time in captivity. He doesn’t feel worthy of Aimi, the heroine, and he has trouble believing that he’s more than a science-experiment-gone-wrong. His issues make him...not the typical alpha male hero you find in so many shifter romances these days. He’s angsty, but no so much that I was annoyed.
2. Aimi, however, is VERY MUCH an alpha shifter. She’s smart and confident and strong and sassy. Basically, she’s everything I adore in a romance heroine. But if you’re not OK with romance heroines who are bigger badasses than their heroes, well, this one probably isn’t for you. You’ll see in some of the book’s other reviews that readers can find Aimi to be abrasive and cocky and arrogant. I won’t lie: she is. But her personality is a reflection of her strength and self confidence and how she was raised in a matriarchal society, so it makes total sense that her character would be unique. I found her refreshing, quite frankly. But if you’re looking for paranormal romance heroines who are meek damsels in perpetual distress, you WILL NOT enjoy Aimi.
3. It’s a slow burn romance. There’s lots of coitus interruptus going on in this one. I don’t mind that kind of thing, but if you’re looking for erotica, look elsewhere.
Now, if you can overlook what I’ve mentioned above, you’re also in for:
1. Laugh-out-loud scenarios and side characters
2. Super interesting and unique world building
3. Fun, witty banter in every chapter
4. Lots of action-y scenes. I could easily see this being made into an action movie—and I do love me some action movies.
So, long-story-short, I highly recommend this one to fans of snarky, sassy, badass heroines and the often befuddled heroes who love them.
And don't forget to check out the Romance Rehab blog for more rants, raves, book lists, and other fun romance-y stuff: http://www.romancerehab.com/
Brandon has been through a hell of a time. Dealing with the consequences of his uncles experiments he's become a monster. Aimi has to settle down with another dragon soon or else she enters the families "breeding program". When suddenly she happens upon Brandon and decides he's a dragon and all hers.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What one person considers ugly another finds beauty. These sayings are what come to mind when reviewing this book. It's a darker series than previous books of Ms Langlais, however it still has its humorous undertones and for this reason I could not stop reading. Brandon has decided he's unworthy and ugly, however Aimi sees something completely different. I giggled aloud reading as these two Alpha personalities clashed. Especially with Aimis "the world revolves around me" attitude. I absolutely adored this first book in the series and the way we tie into and move away from Bitten Point series. Whilst this is a new series I would highly recommend reading Bitten Point series first purely for the background story of what evil Parker has performed.
Brandon Mercer was a gator shifter just like his brother Wes' (GATOR'S CHALLENGE, BITTEN POINT) brother who had been trying to help him from slipping into madness. Brandon appreciated what Wes wanted to do for him but his sibling had a mate and children to think about. Not wanting to be a burden to anyone, Brandon took off after all he!! broke loose at Bittech.
Both Brandon and Wes had been working over time to rescue their sister who'd been kidnapped by their piece of BLEEP uncle, Theodore Parker. But with the aftermath of the Bittech incident, Wes and the rest of Brandon's family and friends had to go into hiding.
Which left Brandon to be the only available to save Sue-Ellen. Theodore was the CEO of Bittech, the man was only after power and money. He was making it his mission to out the shifters to the humans.
After what was done to him, Brandon always thought of himself as monster. That was until he met the beautiful and sassy Aimi who happened to be a born and raised dragon. But she was also his mate and she had every intentions to claiming him right away.
Aimi Sillvergrace a dragon shifter who had a twin sister named Adrianne, the latter was as sassy and beautiful as the former. They've been raised by their mother Zahra and their aunts. The older women kept pushing the youngsters to find their mates.
Aimi wasn't about look for a mate cause she was enjoying single life perfectly well that was until she met the sexy, broody and lost new dragon shifter, Brandon Mercer. Their encounter was funny, playful and very intriguing. Brandon hadn't reacted to a woman the way he did with Aimi.
He was still in denial about him being a dragon even when he met Aimi's family. As one of her aunts explained to Brandon, he was stuck between the man and beast. There was a struggle and the solution was for them to find some common ground.
Brandon finally was able to work through his demons and fully embraced his inner beast thanks to Aimi. When the latter found herself in danger, Brandon called upon the beast within him to help him save their mate. The transformation was alluring. He couldn't deny any longer what he truly was. He was a Dragon.
Aimi and Brandon got their HEA but the threat to their species was still out there and they wouldn't stop until they rid the world of the madman that was Theodore Parker. Despite what Brandon might have thought, Sue-Ellen was just a victim just like them all.
BECOMING DRAGON is the first installment in Eve Langlais' new series, DRAGON POINT. It was fascinating, humorous, emotional and exhilarating. I recommend you guys give this book a chance. Two thumbs up!
I really enjoyed this book! It was cheeky and fun while still having a fair amount of action. The dragons were cool (although there was SO much info on them it was overwhelming at times) and I can see this building up a really fun series. It didn't take that long to read, but it's not super short which I enjoyed. It also wasn't OVERLY silly like some of the previous series' books have felt. I really enjoyed both characters and I'm already super excited for her sister and his sister. Now I gotta wait.
She was pretty freaking awesome . She forgave him his awe. “I told you before, I won’t tolerate you denigrating yourself. It is unseemly in a dragon. And I think we should address the fact that your attitude indicates you believe the world revolves around you. Not anymore it doesn’t.” She tilted her chin and angled her nose in the air as her mother had taught her. “I am the center of the universe. More specifically, your universe.” She fixed him with a stare.
Feisty kick ass heroine Humor Sexual tension and steam Safe
Everything you expect from one of Eve's books except Brandon... he wasn't the strongest take charge alpha, he was whiny and doubted himself a lot basically had a potty party half of the book.
well Mrs.Langlais you did it again! another fun, fantastic read that leave you wanting more. I love how you always one way or another bring up the moose aka Boris, in all the series. Bran and Aimi story was a fun one to read. Their snarky honest witty come backs not only to eachother ,but between mother and well ok the whole dang family was interesting at that. I like how Aimi was always there for Bran and keeping him on his toes, claws so to speak. Sure uncle Theo is crazy but with out him, Bran wouldnt be the, not spoiling it!!! with out him. if you like quick witted banter between couples, siblings, and crazy aunts, this book is for you. can't wait for the next installment of Dragon Point and what adventure Eve will take us on. If Aimis twin sister is just as awesome her, you know the ride will be one to never forget! April can't come fast enough! Aimi and Bran are a fan favorite of mine! Thanks Eve for another friggen awesome book!
