Sometimes I choose books to read at random having no idea about the author of it or the story in it. Quite often I am pleasantly surprised. Not with this one though. There are some good ideas for sure (that is why it deserves any star at all) but the writing is soooooo painfully bad that one feels sorry these ideas did not come to the head of a better author who might do wonders with them. The book is full of remarks that are too stupid to pass as sexist. All men do in the book is gawking at a girl within their viewing range and "surveying her figure." And all the girls do there is being their stereotypical silly selves. The main characters are bland. Frankly speaking, never in my life have I read a book where the characters would be so predictable (I should consider myself lucky then, I guess). The sense of humour is just horrible. I don't see the point of such books existing. There could be something more important on these pages (for which some trees were cut) like the Polish cuisine cookbook or electric toothbrush manual. Seriously.

Nie tak źle, ale zupełnie bez szału. Pomysł przewodni całkiem niezły, lecz wykonanie takie sobie. Para głównych bohaterów nudna (choć na drugim planie lepiej), dziwny wtręt historyczny i przewidywalnie nijaki happy end.
