"I love these books! I just loved 'A Donsy of Gnomes'. But what is best about these new books are the back stories of the fun and loving characters. Thank you, Ms. Sigi." ~ Sam N., 10 yrs. old
Sieglinde De Francesca (Sigi) has always sought to awaken a sense of wonderment through her work of more than 40 years as an artist, teacher, education consultant, storyteller, and more recently, an author. After a decade in the theater as teacher/trainer she returned to school to receive a graduate degree in Waldorf education and taught for many years in Waldorf schools in the United States and Italy. Her first non-fiction writings came out of her work as a teacher and artist. She then was inspired to write a book for families to share with their children, the delightful ‘A Donsy of Gnomes: seven gentle gnome stories.’ More recently a muse from Ireland, the land of her ancestors, moved her to write ‘The Guilds of Tir na nÓg; a Collection of Celtic Dream Tales.’ Sieglinde currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and cats.
