What can I say about Mahabharat that hasn't been said already. It contains all the wisdom that one needs to lead a good life. Plus, the narrative is so powerful. What makes it so mind-boggling is that while it's a story of Gods and men fighting side-by-side and against each other, it's not a story of Good vs Evil. The good men had used more tricks than the evil ones, and often, the evil ones behaved more righteously than the good ones.
But, amidst the rich tapestry of stories and examples and myths, I will use it as my guide fo my happy times and not-so-happy times.
A brief and the same time concise narration by Rajsekhar Basu of the Epic MAHABHARATA. It is said that, whatever is written in Mahabharata can be found in other scriptures or texts, but what is not written in Mahabharata can never be found elsewhere. Such is the magnanimity of this text. Its not a story, rather life itself seems to have taken the form of words.
