Author, screenwriter, philanthropist, journalist, and broadcaster Mitch Albom is an inspiration around the world. His fiction and non-fiction books — which include 8 #1 New York Times bestsellers — have collectively sold 42 million copies worldwide in 48 languages. TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE, the bestselling memoir of all time, topped the list for four straight years and celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2022. He has also written Emmy Award-winning TV films, stage plays, screenplays, a nationally syndicated newspaper column, and a musical. Through his work at the Detroit Free Press, he was inducted into both the National Sports Media Association and Michigan Sports halls of fame and was the recipient of the Red Smith Award for lifetime achievement.

Following his bestselling memoir FINDING CHIKA and HUMAN TOUCH, a web and audio weekly serial that raised funds for pandemic relief, he returned to fiction with the bestselling novels THE STRANGER IN THE LIFEBOAT and THE LITTLE LIAR. His much-anticipated new novel is a stunning love story about magical second chances called TWICE, which dares to explore how our unchecked desires might mean losing what we’ve had all along.

Albom spends the majority of his time in philanthropic work. In 2006, he founded the nonprofit SAY Detroit, which provides pathways to success for Detroiters in need through major health, housing and education initiatives. All profits from an original dessert shop and a gourmet popcorn line also help fund the nonprofit. He operates Have Faith Haiti, a home and school for impoverished children and orphans, in Port-au-Prince, which he visits monthly. He lives with his wife, Janine, in Michigan.

Mitch Albom Box Set: The Five People You Meet in Heaven/Tuesdays with Morrie/Have a Little Faith/For One More Day/The Time Keeper was a great read by Mitch Albom. The Five People You Meet in Heaven was a great read by Mitch Albom. Eddie, a wounded war veteran, believes that he has lived an uninspired life. He works at a seaside amusement park fixing rides. He has a tragic accident while trying to save a little girl from a falling cart on his 83rd birthday. He wakes up in the afterlife and learns that heaven is a place where your life is explained to you by five people. Some of these people you knew and others may be strangers. These five people revisit their connections to him on earth and show him just how meaningful his life truly is. Tuesdays with Morrie was a great read by Mitch Albom. This was an amazing story about second chances and friendship. The second chance to learn from a mentor and a friendship that mentor can offer you. I loved this book and I loved what it stood for. It was a book of love, friendship , chances and hope. Have a Little Faith: a True Story was a great read by Mitch Albom. this book shows the eight-year journey between two worlds, men, faiths, and communities. An eight two year old rabbi from Albom’s old hometown makes an unusual request. She asks Albom to deliver his eulogy. Albom feels unworthy and insists that he must understand the man better. Closer to where he lives now, he becomes involved with a Detroit pastor who is a reformed drug dealer and convict. The preacher preaches to the poor and homeless in a church that has a hole in its roof and is decaying. Albom finds himself moving between the two faiths, Christian and Jewish. He observes how these very different men use their faith to fight for survival. For One More Day was a great read by Mitch Albom. This is the story of Charley who is a child of divorce. He was always forced to choose between his mother and father. One fateful weekend he leaves his mother to secretly be with his father. Unfortunately that weekend his mother died while he was gone. This haunted him forever and one night, he decides that he will take his life. But between this world and the next, he encounters his mother again. He gets to spend one last magical day with her. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author. The Time Keeper was another great read by Mitch Albom. The man who invented the first clock is punished for trying to measure God's greatest gift. He ends up in a cave for centuries and forced to listen to all those who are seeking more days or years. Father Time is eventually granted his freedom if he can teach tweo earthly people the true meaning of time. He returns to our world and starts a journey with a teenage girl who wants to give up on life and a wealthy businessman who wants to be able to live forever. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.
