No Reservations, Part Two

This is a continuation of the story that began in No Reservations. The issues about the letter and with the heroine's parents were resolved in this second story, but I think it should have been part of the original book and not separate.

This was a good short book from Kate. It was good to have some closure with Maddox and Bridget. I had no idea what she would find in the envelope, and it was a surprise. In the end, it was wonderful to see Bridget and her parents relationship on the mend. It was a quick and enjoyable read.

Kate Aster- does a great job in bring characters to life. i enjoy the military stories & the struggles, misunderstandings & sextual tension that these characters bring to their stories.
This little tit bit is the continuation of Bridget & Kerry love story. While they are getting ready to get married.
During the renovating the B&B, They decided it was time to update their bedroom. In doing so they find out their is a lot that needs to be taken care of in between the walls.
Besides, removing wallpaper & redoing electrical work they find something hidden in the walls.
An envelopes address to Bridget from her Aunt. Does she want to read it? Or will she find some hidden secret about her parents. Since she never felt like she connected with her parents. Especially after her parents didn't support her on making the cottage a B&B instead of just selling the place & moving back home.

Maddox Kerry, does sweeps Bridget Needham off her feet in the original book. But he is determined to make sure that Bridget get the wedding of her dreams. That means to make life as stress free as possible. Though Maddox has a secret that he feels could break their relationship & cancel the wedding. When Maddox & Bridget found the envelope she had decided she didn't want to read it & threw it in the trash. Maddox's instincts said his sweetheart would regret it. So he has had it all this time. Now they are discussing their wedding day, Bridget's envy that Maddox had a close relationship with his dad. While she feels that her parents always kept her at a distance. They never loved her. So when Bridget brings up she wished she didn't throw the hidden envelope from last year. Because it might explain why her parents are the way they are? And why they wanted her to sell the B&B? This is when Maddox has to confess his actions. Will he lose Bridget over it? He only did it out of love, for this very conversation they are having.
Well, Bridget is grateful for her Fiancé keeping the envelope, but was it worth it? Or did it cause her more pain? Can she ever trust her parents? Let alone believe that they ever truly loved her?
Read the story secrets between parents & a daughter. Will it cost Maddox his wedding day to the love of his life?
Or can Bridget & her family come to terms on the family secret & move forward to a fresh start & walk their daughter down the aisle to the man she loves.
This romance, has love, understanding, hurt & forgiveness through out the story plot. Not to mention some great sex scenes from our hot couple. Read the continuation of Maddox & Bridget's love story

Love this series

Since the author requests feedback, I'd like to offer some. Your characters all end up in a side-by-side position at some point. Women don't stay on top for long. It'd be great if the alpha heroes cried to break down the stigma that "boys don't cry" which IMO leads to war and violence from all that pent-up sorrow and rage. I love that places and people pop up again, like Mick's basement apartment; Leia and her shop; Joe and Vi; Bess, Tyler and Abigail; and Becca. I figured out the plot twist ahead of time, just as I did with Dan, Maeve's secret, the break-in, and other suspenseful plot points. I loved the ideas for the B&B and wonder where you got them from. Maybe you want to own one? It's not clear how these folks make money, but they either have a ton of it or are broke. I looked at real estate prices in Annapolis and Eastport, and they're insane. So, where did Maddox get his money? I thought the military didn't pay that well.

Until Forever is a short novella that is centered around the wedding of Bridget and Maddox. In this story we finally get to find out what is inside the mysterious envelope! Although this is a short story (it ended too quickly) I enjoyed it! It's always nice to reconnect with other characters from past stories. We also get a little hint about Leia and Aidan's past. I'm sure their story will be awesome.
I'm a huge fan of Kate Aster's books. I really loved the Homefront series and have read it several times. My favorite is Joe and Vi's story. The Sheridan series is also a wonderful read. If you haven't read Kate Aster's books you need to order them right away!

Questions answered

Quite often, when you read a book, you finish it and then while savoring the ending you realize that you have questions. “What happened to that...., what happened when they did this....., is this ending real?”

This book answered the questions I had after the first book in the Special Ops: Tribute book 1 “No Reservations”.

Loved that my questions got answered and like the way I hit a second HEA in this book. I don’t advise reading it until AFTER you’ve read Book One.

As a part of Book One, I think it’s good enough to give 5 stars.

I hope you really enjoyed NO RESERVATIONS! This novella is "the rest of the story" as Paul Harvey would say! This story answers several questions, especially the BIG QUESTION that was left unanswered in No Reservations. I liked how Maddox and Bridget did something unusual for a wedding day. They are a great couple and Until Forever is an awesome culmination to the love story of Maddox and Bridget!

Great Follow-up

Loved this novella as it put a bit more closure on Maddox and Bridget’s story. Ms Aster handled a very touchy and difficult subject with realistic feelings and finesse. Add in the fact that Maddox was absolutely Bridget’s ‘Rock of Gibraltar’ through it all made it easy to believe that love is the strongest force in the universe. (Yes, I am a hopeless romantic) Thank-you, Kate, for a lovely feel good ‘beginning to the rest of their lives’.

If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would. It tore my heart to pieces and then put it back together again. All of the characters are fabulous, the plot is amaze-balls, and the writing is top notch. It made me cry more than once, the mark of an excellent book in my mind. A+ for Kate Aster.

I had to... I just had to read this after reading their first story to see how things would work out.
I loved Bridget and Maddox together and wish they could clone this guy. I seriously wanted to know what was in the envelope, I kind of guessed it, but you never know. The book has some great characters, so worth a read and look for to the fireworks between Aidan and Leia.

Unfortunately I read this out of order and found the story very boring. I can tell that Aster knows how to use the English language so I will give another of her stories a try. There was absolutely no connection for me with this story and everything that happens seems blown way out of proportion and rehashed over and over. I kept dozing off while reading it.

This is a short story follow on picking up where No Reservations leftover off. Maddox and Bridget are about to get married and the contents of the mystery envelope, found in the wall and supposedly disposed of, are revealed. If you’ve read No Reservations you’ll enjoy this, although one wonders why it was not included as an Epilogue in the original book.

Bridget had questions from the way her parents acted all her life and after the death of her aunt. Maddox and Bridget had found an envelope in the wall of the bed and breakfast when doing renovations. Shortly before their wedding the envelope is opened and Bridget is due some answers.

It was a good round-up Of their story

It was a lot of deep emotional feelings in this very short story periods are always tense during there wedding but the circumstances surrounding the bride made it even worse for her. I felt for her she wasn't just a person on a page she'd come a person.

‘Until Forever’ was heartfelt. Its warm plot involved lots of revelations, uncomfortable conversations, a trip to a cemetery, lots of love, reconciling, and a wedding. Bridget and Maddox, the protagonists, continued to be made for each other (from an earlier book) and oozed chemistry. Additionally, I liked the author’s vividness, which conveyed a loving tone. Overall, I liked the sweet narrative.

Closer

Did Maddox do the right thing by keeping the envelope? Will the secrets it holds help or harm Bridget? Can they move forward with their wedding and future? All of these questions and more are answered by Kate Aster on this touching book three.

Wonderful wedding

It was good to see the wedding and the transformation of the bride and groom as each took stock if what matters and how love of family, by blood and by trial, is so important. Thank you.

Humorous and Entertaining

Bridget's and Maddox's story is heartwarming and relatable for many of us. Their friends and family are supportive, understanding and even sometimes annoying, but loving.

This is a novella that 'finishes' off the story of Maddox and Bridget with their wedding and more relationship resolutions. You can't really read this unless you've read "No Reservations" (Tribute #1), because it ties up some unresolved conflicts. Quick read (89 pages), but worth it.

This would have been better if it were folded into book one since it answers the questions about her parents’ weird behaviour and that envelope they found in the wall. I still think it’s extremely unbelievable that anyone would throw it away without opening it!!!

a fitting conclusion

This is a great ending or rather the end of a chapter for Bridget and Maddox. They finally found out the secret her aunt was keeping and begin to come to terms with the shock.

This was the ending we have been wanting since finishing book one! There was not necessarily a cliffhanger in book one, but more of too many unanswered questions. This novella gives the closure and ending we all needed for Maddox and Bridget. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kate Aster is new for me. Enjoyed A Wedding Novella- answered questions left out there in No Reservations. I had an idea of what was in the envelope and was mostly right. Liked the characters and the setting, good detail in the story.

I liked the storyline to this book, however I felt that the 'secret' dragged on a bit too much and made the heroine look a bit immature.
This wasn't my favourite Kate Aster book and I was kind of glad that it was a novella.
