Yes, the Happily Ever After is revealed in the title…but isn’t the journey there half the fun?
Both the Jefferson sisters and Wright brothers have found love, but each couple will soon find the strength of their relationship put to the test by outside forces.
London’s image is dragged through the mud as a startling accusation is made against her in the media. Will Michael’s plan to escape on a European adventure bring them closer together…or just make things worse?
Meanwhile, Brooklyn and Alex find the strength of their love put to the test when a rival from his wild and party-filled past is hell bent on destroying not only Brooklyn’s life in New York, but also her relationship with Alex…in the most scandalous way possible.
As the Wright men fight to protect the women they love…even bigger surprises come to light, which create a shocking turn of events.
Definitely a HAE for all parties involved…at least for those that deserve it ;)
This is Part 2 (and final) of the Wright Series. Although it can be read as a Stand Alone, you should read Mr. Wright & Mr. Wrong first to fully understand the dynamics of each couple.
WARNING: Due to steamy sex scenes and adult language for 18+ only!
Did the original live up to the sequel? It very nearly did!
The story picks up where we learn Michael and London have been dating for three months and they continue to keep the heat and spice going in their relationship.
Alex and Brooklyn have always had the spice and role play is a big part of their relationship. Always an adventurous couple in the bedroom, one of their most memorable tryst involves the Kuma Sutra.
The couples are going strong so it's only a matter of time before a wedge is driven between them. This is where the book went wrong (not too terribly) for me when it entered Romance Trope 101. You know ... old flames that won't go away and character assassination. Brooklyn promises to Ride or Die when trouble finds Alex, but when the trouble continues -- she bails -- no support, no discussion on how to solve the issue -- together. London and Michael are the complete opposites -- he supports her and works behind the scenes to help her solve her issue, but she decides its best to push him away.
It takes Grandma Jefferson (not that Jefferson) to knock some good old fashion sense into both their heads, reminding them that they have two good men that love and support them. Thanks Grandma, because their mother (not her fault) only had a small role in both stories.
Overall, an enjoyable read despite the detour into familiar story line territory. Book 2 of 2.
Again, this is a romantic comedy. Two couples, a little slapstick. Lots of fun.
In the previous book, I liked London & Michael's romance better than Alex & Brooklyn's but I think both of them worked effectively here. Since the two couple were already together and in love, the author had a bit more room to play with the relationships.
I LOL'd at Brooklyn & Alex's attempt to re-enact the Kama Sutra. The quick cuts and their reactions to some of the positions were hysterical.
I also LOL'd and London's half-hearted attempts to console Michael when scandalous pictures of his father hits the papers.
This author does funny dialogue really well.
But I also liked the conflicts, especially the one introduced for Brooklyn and Alex. It was, imo, a little more serious even though it was played lightly but I am glad the resolution fit the crime.
That ending to the series was everything I needed that I skipped on precious sleep to finish both stories in one night. Can't wait to read the next story by this author. There's not a thing I would change.
I enjoyed each couple. I just think that each book should have focused on one couple at a time. By the second book the primary focus was on London and Michael. Overall great series looking forward to reading about their little brother River.
Great as a standalone but even better after the first book.
I enjoyed then there were two stories in one. Read book one in the series to get a better understanding of what is going on comma but it is still good as a standalone. What I like about the stories is that the two sisters were so very different as well as the brothers. London and Michael the serious couple, Alex and Brooklyn the more happy-go-lucky couple. And there is a story also about River Wright, once you finish these two make sure that you read that one.
Is quickly becoming a fave. Both Wright books were really good. The stories were full and detailed. The writing is thorough and the stories are well thought out. I loved the dynamic between the couples and secondary couples. I really hope she reads these reviews and considers expanding on her first book. Here's hoping...
I really enjoyed the final book in this series. I loved Michael and Alex. London and Brooklyn got on my nerves for a minute when the drama started. The Wright brothers tried to communicate with them but they were too stubborn to listen. It took grandma Lucille's wisdom to show them the error of their ways and get them to come to their senses.
It was hard to see London and Brooklyn at their most vulnerable. Thank goodness Grandma Lucille shed some light on the way they were handling their situations. What in the world would make Dion Davis think London would go for him. Eww! And what would make Brianna think that Alex would want her immature being. I really love the outcome of both situations.
Wow, that is a wonderful series... The Jefferson sisters are such fun , they keep their men satisfied, entertained and on their toes! Really great characters and storyline... And,the storyteller knows how to narrate a story. Lot of humor that will keep a smile on your face!
This was a very satisfying conclusion to the Jefferson's & Wright's love stories. There was enough drama and heat to even out this story. I would have enjoyed a bit more bonding between each set of siblings. Overall I enjoyed and would recommend both books. Ms. Stevens is definitely an author to watch.
A brilliant light hearted very entertaining series....
This story continues from the initial story of Mr. Wright & Mr. Wrong, and it's just as good as the first book, with lots going on between the couple's having to deal with outside influences which try to pull their relationships apart. Needless to say, they overcome these hurdles and end up with the partners they should end up with.
This story is a fantastic read and keeps your interest throughout, brilliantly written and very steamy with explicit love scenes and funny hysterical situations, especially when you get the bonus chapter at the end.
The Jefferson women had some obstacles to overcome with the 2 Wright men who never wavered from their side. Such loving couples and everyone needing punishment received theirs.
