Caleb 'CJ' Jones has endured a tough life. Being part of the notorious 'Jones' family and from the travelling community, CJ has a reputation to uphold and has been forced to see and participate in many things a 'normal' life wouldn't encounter. His entire family including his four siblings lived on the poverty line for many years, until they realised that they could fight their way out of it by bare knuckle boxing. This allowed the family to finally start living and build a very successful security firm offering protection for a variety of different business but CJ wanted more and joined the army, to continue his love for learning knowing that the skills learned would only benefit the business further.
On leaving the army CJ misses the camaraderie and seeks such a connection elsewhere, which leads him to the Aces where he meets Locke, a friend he thought that he'd keep forever.
Losing his best friend crushes him and pushes CJ to his lowest point. He is only saved when Jayden comes into his life and he quickly realises that he has so much more to live for but CJ still aches in the depths of his heart for the loss of his friend and seeks the revenge that Locke wasn't able to achieve.
A blast from the past knocks his world off kilter but will this encounter jeopardise all the plans he has in place or is he still able to remain undercover and bring down the Satan's Wrath for good. CJ is prepared to do whatever it takes and will not be swayed from his ultimate goal but will it be at the cost of finding true happiness or even worse, his life.
Note to readers:
If you enjoy the ACES MC Series, look out for the 'Jones Security Series' a spin off featuring CJ's siblings with the first book being released in 2017.
This is not your normal MC series. The Aces are an MC with alpha males but the members do not shy away from the fact that they are husbands, fathers and lovers with feelings. If you don’t like a biker who cares and respects his woman, then this isn't a book for you.
I want to take the time to mention that I’m from the United Kingdom and use UK spellings.
To receive the full experience of the Aces MC Series, it's recommended that you read the stories in the following order:
Diesel – Book 1 Duke - Book 2 Paige and Chloe - Book 2.5 Spike - Book 3 Amy - Book 3.5 Locke - Book 4 Jayden - Book 4.5 Woods - Book 5
I've always had an overly imaginative and creative mind and although I've managed to maintain my sanity regardless of my career choice (teaching), I've decided to channel that creativity in other ways. Never had I thought of writing a book, until 2014 and I'm pleased that I did.
I hope to entertain those who enjoy gritty romance stories with domineering men and strong women.
I like to think I have a certain edge over other MC authors because of my family ties to an MC in the UK, which help to keep my books realistic (to a certain degree!) and not shy away from the fact that these club members although alpha male, are still husbands, fathers and lovers with feelings.
Thank you to all that read my books and support me in pursuing my dream.
I hope my readers enjoy my stories as much as I enjoy writing them.

Although I enjoyed this book I struggled to stay concentrated, as the story was slow in parts. Although I struggled with how slow the story was in parts, I didn’t put this book down once and devoured it in one sitting. Aimee definitely did Locke justice in getting revenge and finality over what happened to Locke. I loved how dedicated CJ was to getting revenge for his best friend Locke. I liked the bond he formed with Charity and his determination to not only get revenge but also keep Kierah and Charity safe. The scene at the end, the phone-recording scene had my eyes watering and my heart aching over the loss of Locke, and the way it was affecting CJ. This book brought out quite a few emotions, heartbreak, anger, love, revenge and peace. Heartbreak because, CJ was struggling over the loss of his best friend. Anger over what charity is being put through. Love between Kierah and CJ but also love in the friendships of the club. Revenge for what the Satans did to Locke and Locke’s family. And peace at getting justice for Locke. I was a little disappointed that Onyx didn’t put up a fight against CJ when CJ had him alone and injured. I liked reading some of Charity’s POV but I wish that we got more of Kierah and her point of view. I cannot wait for the next book, hurry up May! I would definitely recommend reading this book as part of the series rather than as a standalone.
CJ is a man bent on revenge, but we know how that worked out for Locke...will CJ have better luck? I loved seeing the club work together in this story. There is a couple of surprising alliances and a new romance. Someone else gets a whole new future and we get complete closure for another. This was a great addition to the series.
CJ story's is one filled with heartbreak, heartache, understanding, love, compassion, rejoice, closure!!!
CJ hell bent on getting his revenge on the Satan's for the murder of his "brother", best friend Locke, he and Recon go undercover. Learning so many things about the Satan's and what they are into only makes his blood boil more for the revenge and destruction of them. CJ finds an ally in the young woman they plan to "auction" her virginity off, Charity. What CJ learns from Charity is more than he could have bargained for. While Cj is putting things into motion, Keira (Locke's woman) contacts him and wants to meet, he has no idea why after he taking off after Locke's murder, he is angry at her and wants answers. When meeting he finds his answers but more importantly he finds things within himself he hasn't answers for. He doesn't know what his club will think of the things he finds out or what he feels, he is willing to take the chances, but first things first he must destroy the Satans. I won't give you any more but I will tell you this Aimee-Louise Foster has NAILED THIS ONE. This is a continuation of all the things we wanted in this series. That we have BEGGED for!!! I loved this book and want this series to continue. A true MC Lover can't miss this series as it sucks you in, leaving you wanting more and more. BUT I will warn you this series especially this book will tug at the heart strings, but it will also make you cheer outloud at what happens...... A MUST READ!!!
I absolutely love this series...and have been dying to read CJ's story ever since reading Locke's!!
As with all this authors books it grips you from start to finish and you can not put it down until it's finished!
In this book of the series we see CJ and the club get vengeance for Locke's murder (YAY!!)...I won't spoil it and say what happens but I was not disappointed in the slightest with the outcome!
This for me is a 5 star read, and if you've read (and loved, like me) the rest of this series...you're in for a real treat with this one!!
My only criticism of this book...the romance that I was hoping would occur with Locke and a certain female...well I'd have loved to have read a little more of that and see what happens with them...but I still loved reading it...and as I've already mentioned before...once I'd started i just couldn't put it down until I'd finished!
I enjoyed that this book was mainly from CJ's POV. And I also really liked the new character introduced in this book...I hope to see her in upcoming books in this series!
Very much looking forward to the next book (especially after that sneak peek!)...roll on May!!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review
I am so pleased that I received an ARC copy from Aimee-Louise Foster to read and review. I have been following her series from the start with Diesel
This is CJ's story and it was chock full of so many emotions. Hate, revenge, anger, happiness and love. CJ is after revenge for his "brother" Lockes murder. He and another MC brother (Recon) go undercover to take the Satans down. They found that there was an auction to auction off a young girl's (Charity) virginity, drug running and more. Poor man had it all coming at him at once. getting Charity out, getting Kiera back after she went missing and was kidnapped and taking down the Satans MC . I really liked the bond that grew between CJ and Charity and surprisingly CJ and Recon. I was surprised to find that Charity knew Locke from his time undercover and before his murder and that she could help CJ plus later on with the closure he needed with the recording that she played at the end for him, Kiera and the club to hear. I really am happy that the ACEs (his MC brothers) and his real brothers and sister had his back also. I am very pleased to say that I am interested in Recon now that he isn't such a douche and him and CJ got closer working together and hope Aimee has plans on a story for him. Thanks Aimee for all you do.
I have been looking forward to reading CJ's story, and Ms. Foster did not disappoint! I always feel like I'm visiting old friends when reading this series as the author has created such a strong emotional bond between the story and characters, and that extends to the reader as well. This book will bring out a roller-coaster of emotions from heartbreak, grief, excitement, love, and so many others, but will ultimately steal your heart. A fantastic story, and another great addition to this outstanding series!
If you haven't read this series, I suggest that you start from the beginning. Not only will you get amazing stories, but learn more about each couple, the brotherhood, friends and family of the club, and the dynamics between them all. You won't be disappointed!
I'm looking forward to Cade's story in book 5.5 coming out this year, as well as her new spin-off series. I'm not sure why it wasn't released before this book, but I'm not complaining! ;) That just means that I get to enjoy more from this series, and I can't wait!
I strongly recommend this book, series, and fantastic author!
As I'm typing I wipe away the tears. I received an ARC copy form Aimee Louise Foster and so grateful to be able to review it.
I have read the entire series thus far. As I continue to follow the Aces M C the storyline continues to change and grow. I felt Locke's story made the series more realistic feeling than some other M C series. Aimee took a risk of up setting readers but in my opinion it was the best book of this series. It left me wanting to see how everyone would recover or retaliate. Now here we are with CJ still feeling his pain and wanting to know how Keira will deal with the pregnancy. I like everything about CJ. Watching him lead his bruvs to revenge Locke's murder while he takes time to save Charity. CJ is strong alpha male who respects women and protects at all cost. I won't add spoilers you need to read to form your own opinion. Mine is that I give this book 5 stars for putting closure to the heartbreak of losing a friend. Charity brought so much to this storyline that I hope we see her grow more in future books.
OMFG!!! Yet again i have just been on one hell of a rollercoaster ride of emotions with this book!!! I love this series so much... each and every character has buried deep inside my heart!!! This is CJ's story... and what a heart touching one it is at that!!! CJ is a patched member of the Aces MC and is set on revenge for his 'brother' Locke... This book pulled me in so many different directions as my emotions were rocked!!!... the flow was spot on and with the direction of the story... i couldn't put it down and i was up until 5am reading it!!! With twists and turns throughout that keep you on the edge of your seat and your heart pounding... i fully recommend for everyone to READ THIS BOOK ASAP!!! By the time i reached the last page... i could finally feel certain closures of past situations and yes... you will need a box of tissues at hand to dry your tears!!! A perfectly written book and i can't wait to see what Ms Foster has planned for the next in series... i can truly guarantee one thing for sure... and that is... that it's going to be fantastic in every way possible!!!
CJ has to battle some weighty demons in the last installment to the series. If you have read the rest of the Aces MC series you would have seen some of the ghost of the past these strong Alpha men have had to battle. CJ story is no different. He lost his best friend/Club Brother to the Satan's MC. He is hell bent on revenge and destroying the other club. He and another brother go uncover to do just that. What they discover is even worse than anticipated. Kiera (Locke woman) reaches out to CJ. The story is full of heartbreak, friendship, the bond of love. Aimee Louise Foster turns it up another notch with this story. Not only is it well written, but the story draws you in until the wee hours of the morning and introduces characters who are pivotal and intriguing. This book leaves you oddly satisfied having answer knowing that everything will work out. I absolutely loved this story and CJ has earned a place in my favourite book boyfriend list.
I Voluntarily Reviewed A Complimentary Copy Of This Book
With every book in this series you think Aimee-Louise Foster can’t top the last one and yet she does.
CJ is such a well written book that keeps you glued from the first page as you wait to see how events will unfold, the storyline pick up about 5 months after the ending of Locke (if you have not read go read first). Loved CJ thought he was great and loved that most of this book was written from his perspective. This is such an intense book with so much happening that you won't believe how quickly time goes by will your reading but when it ends you will want to go back and reread as that how good it is.
Aimee-Louise Foster is a fantastic writer that just keeps giving us readers great stories that leaves us waiting to see where she will go next and one I have in my top 5 must buy authors
I loved loved loved this book. Have been waiting for it to come out. The tears started on page one and carried on throughout the book. I was riveted no one spoke to me as they new how much I wanted to read this book. It true Aimee style I was pulled in feeling as though I was part of the book. You could feel the emotions and the pain from the characters with in the book, I have to say I have a bit of a soft spot for CJ it was great to read his story. Aimee-Louise Foster. Thank you for a fantastic book. Most of all thank you for sharing your fantastic talent with us. I look forward to the next book. This is one series all MC fans should read.
Wow ! Aimee has proved with this book why she is one of my favourite MC authors ! This story isn't a sweet and fluffy one. In this we get to see how CJ seeks revenge on the Satan's after what happened to his best friend, Locke. Locke's book broke me so i was REALLY excited to see them get what they deserved. Right from the start i was pulled in and, in many ways, CJ reminds me of Locke, always putting others first and not giving a damn about himself. This was definitely raw and gritty and even caused me to tear up a time or two too. I thought it was brilliantly written and loved that there were also a couple of surprises too. Yet another fantastic addition to the Ace's series ! Loved it !
I am a huge fan of Aimee-Louis Foster and the Aces MC Series. I just finished reading book six CJ. The storyline of the Aces MC is continual and Aimee brings back all those beautiful men in each book. CJ was a close friend and brother to Locke. With Locke’s death it comes full circle in CJ’s story. This book fits the series perfectly! Loving that Keira was enfolded in this book and with the addition of Charity makes you want for the next book to see how their story develops. The Aces MC series is a well written story that is a page turner with those hot and sexy Aces brothers. Start with the first book! Thank you for the great read!
OMG what a hell of a story CJ has. CJ was Locke's best friend and can't get over Locke being murdered and is hell bent on revenge. This book covers so much you get closer for Locke. Keira makes contact with CJ knowing it's what Locke would of wanted. With the help of a young girl trap at the Satan's club the Aces find the closer they need to understand why Locke did the things his way and not involved the club. Aimee-Louise did any amazing job on CJ story with questions being answered I can't wait to see what the next book in the series brings. This book has every thing to keep you on the edge of your seat. A MUST READ FOR MC BOOK LOVERS
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
ARC received for an honest review CJ's story i feel needs to be read after reading Locke the rest of the series can be read as standalone but this book I think makes more sense and is more fluid if read after Locke as it wraps up some aspects left unresolved in Locke. This book also has some bits that need to come to fruition and grow. But that is all I will say as no spoilers from me. This book deals with CJ seeking vengeance for what happened in Locke. It has an unexpected relationship and an unlikely friendship it will be interesting watching both of these grow in the coming books as Aimee has left this open to explore in her next few books. Fast paced book a real page turner
Another fantastic instalment from the Aces MC. CJ Jones is out to revenge the death of his best friend Locke at the hands of the Satan MC. He goes under cover like Locke before him but with the club backing him and his brothers and sister. Keira finally contacts him and he finds of about her carrying lockes baby and there are budding feelings developing between them, he is also on a mission to rescue charity, the young girl that Locke looked out for. This book grips you from the start, I was loving the scenes with Keira and CJ and the rest of the aces popping up especially Recon as he is my favourite. Can't wait for Cade story later this year
Oh this was a tough read only because of the emotional tug. Locke was one of my favorites and the remembrances and additional details tore at my heartstrings. I adore CJ and was so happy for him to find some closure and a way to keep Locke around. And potentially a very happy future. Definitely read this series!
ARC Review! CJ is brilliant kept me in suspense could never work out what he was going to be doing next! Been dying to read this book for months the whole story line is completely touching, Aimee your books get better every time and keep us as readers coming back for more! Keep doing all that your doing! Really hope Charity gets her own book her character is amazing. Looking forward to Cade!
I loved this book it kept me gripped from beginning. This book was slightly different to the others but I loved it all same. This is set a couple of months after the end of Locke's book and book gives closure to the main part of the story while leaving it open for more on CJ. You do need to read Locke before you read this book.
CJ is on his way to getting his revenge. This one was so sad. I deals with the ones that are left behind when someone dies. The feelings that they go through and have to deal with because Locke is not there. I cried and laughed, even angry. CJ has to come to terms with it all and how his life will go forward.
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book and i wasnt disappointed. A.L.F took a slightly different approach with this book compared to the other books in the series and its not your typical mc romance. It was a great change in the series and it was fab to fully understand the full depth of a character and see him lay his demons to rest. Well done A.L.F.
received a arc of this book , wow aimee done it again this book was amazing been dying to read cj story since locke book , i was glued from the start couldnt put it down, CJ and the club get vengeance for Locke's murder , i highly recommend this book
I have read many books by this author and must admit her writing have improved immensely. This story covers CJ with so much emotional baggage which makes it a must read. I did enjoy the characters, also the side characters really added something to the story line.
Another fabulous book in the series. CJ has battled with the loss of his best friend Locke. His quest for revenge is in his sights. Only if all goes to plan.
I'm glad CJ got the revenge he wanted. Hope he can find some peace now. I really liked Locke and hated him getting killed. Can't wait for Jones's security books to come out in 2017.
