We as a human race tend to dwell on the prospect of conspiracy. The theories are fuelled by rumours or the staging facts which either turn be true, or at times fizzle as a mere rumour. Taking a cue upon the people’s interest, the author brings us one of the most prevalent conspiracy theories from around the world. However are they really what they seem to be?

The book can be depicted in a genre varying from facts to fiction. Despite a researched consideration the book at times seems to embark upon public appeasement. The same can be seen from the coverage on the new world order to the ever favourite Big Foot. However what amused me and hundreds of other readers is the chapter covering theories that have been proven or admitted to be true. Although the theories are in essence stories that crept out of insider discussions or probable speculation, their purpose is to develop a rational among people. Rationality to differentiate between propaganda, paranoia and mass media effect.

I would recommend this book for a quick read while rating it 3 out of 5 stars. Only if the author could cover an entire chapter teaching to differentiate between fact and fiction.

I picked this up on a lark from the Kindle Unlimited list. While it took me one sitting to devour the entire book I was left completely underwhelmed by its contents. There is absolutely nothing new or fresh that the chapters (covering the world's most popular conspiracy theories along side the ones that come true and the ones that didnt, apart from a summary note) it feels like reading Wikipedia articles. The theories are all very popular and there is nothing at all that the writing enlightens the reader on. The only reason I am giving it an extra star is because it might come across as a slightly interesting read for readers who have absolutely no idea about any of these theories and are looking at an absolutely amateur / beginners approach to them. There is no painstaking research or detail meted out in any of the theories. Could have skipped this entirely. If you know anything about any of the popular modern theories, you may want to read something more detailed and concrete.

This book brings to light a more detailed and intetrsting view on conspiracy. The most well known conspiracies are written about in this book with a questions section to ask yourself and this really gets your thinking. Most of the tales are really hard to believe but you have prople who claims to be witnesses to some or these conspiracies. Are they doing it for attention or fame or did these things really happen? Government seems to have been aparr of most of these conspiracies. Today, conspiracies and the government are brought up often. You never know what they are hiding.
