Rate this book
One year ago, Madison Ramsey hooked up with her brother's friend, Scott Mason. Despite the chemistry between them, Madison could not date the Blonde hair, blue eyed Adonis. No way. When Marcus asks his sister for help with his restaurant, she couldn't say no. Returning to Chicago meant running into Scott again. When Scott saw the plus sized beauty, his heart stopped. He shared a night of passion with her only to have her reject him in the morning. Just when he was starting to get on with his life, she returns. Now that Scott has moved on to another woman, she should be happy, right? Then why does it hurt so bad? Follow the story of Madison and Scott as Madison decides if she has enough guts to be with the man she loves or will she let her family dictate who should be in her heart. This is a funny sweet story about finding love least where you expect it. This is book three of "The Fat Series." Each book is a stand alone and can be read separately. Some characters are present at different times in the series. If you want to read Mecah and Tyler's story get "Fat with Benefits." Marcus and Terah's story can be found in "Fatabulous." All the women in this series are plus size beautiful women who embrace their curves with no apologies. The stories are funny and sweet. Each has a HEA.

Good read

Scott and Madison had a brief relationship before she left town. Scott wants to advance their relationship but Madison has an issue with an open relationship with a white man. She knows her family will not be as accepting of this relationship and tries to push Scott away. But the heart wants what it want.

Put up a fight for the one you love

Nedra really stepped up in this series. There was still some grammar issues, but it wasn't glaringly where you had to force read to the end. It definitely did not take away from Scott and Madison's love story. If I had to choose a favorite, this will be the one. One pointer: With love thereis no color, but it would be irresponsible to go into a relationship without speaking about the problems that can occur in a interracial relationship. I'm glad it was a topic of discussion, although Madison reasoning should've had more depth. At the end of day, Love conquered 😊 and there is nothing like a good HEA.

Frustrating

Not the book. Book was good but Madison was exhausting to me. But I felt Nedra did the whole interracial dating situation well. Especially with Madison and Marcus' parents. It's a shame that it even had to be addressed. I didn't appreciate the way Madison thought she had to get Scott back. She was the reason they weren't together. That was extremely immature to me but I still enjoyed their pairing.

Make me laugh.....

I love a book that can make me LOL. And this author does that. The characters are funny and intertaining. The only flaw i find with this series is the typo's. Keep the great stories coming

Cute

Another good bwwm without the weird nonsense that plagues this genre. Gainfully employed people with normal lives and friends and backgrounds, not to mention an adorable romance.

Hope the series goes on.

I like thus series. The books make me laugh. Not much heat but the romance and comedy are good. Madison's Mom is nuts!

I Love This Series!

I love the premise, I love the conversations, I love the way this is written! Whenever I read a story and, in my mind, start casting it with actual actors, I have gotten deep into it! I could see this whole thing played out as a movie.
