I am interested in reading and borrowing the following 1st 1993 edition of Eyewitness "Elephant" book by Ian Redmond. I like this book because it has more detailed information with nice colorful pictures that has a little bit of black and white.
This book is published by Stoddart Publishing Co. Limited in Toronto Ontario, Canada and Alfred A. Knopf, Inc. New York. This Eyewitness Book has been conceived by Dorling Kindersley Limited and Editions Gallimard.
Can you please inform the information about this same book on which library website that I can read and borrow it?
Evelyn asked for an elephant book for Christmas and I immediately thought of this one. I did not realize it is out of print but she loved it. DK has the best graphics and illustrations.
MS Science Series Redmond, Ian. Eyewitness Books: Elephant (New York; Dorling Kindersley, 1993). This Eyewitness Books on elephants is so informative. It begins with "What is an elephant?" and goes through species of, parts of, habitats, and other elephant related information. This book on elephants, and all the books in the Eyewitness Books series, is a great way to learn a little bit of everything about a subject. If you want to know how much a bull weighs or how tall a cow is? Maybe you don't know what either of those terms are then you might want to pick up this book. The photographs and images throughout the book will not disappoint. (ages 12+)
The Eyewitness book series have been my favourite academic/educational books, and this one is no different. Elephants are my favourite animals so I obviously loved it!
