In a time of flux in our country, it is very important to have a safe place to reconnect. The Cypress Tree did just that for me. Fredricka writes a pure spiritual guide to lead others along a positive path towards faith. Her words are simple. She uses bible psalms and excerpts to not only drive a point but to provide focus. This is a short and sweet book that reminds you that you are a child of God. Great work.

The Cypress Tree: Growing in God from the Root to the Fruit, by author Fredricka Cypress is a phenomenal read. I normally get distracted very easily, but Fredricka wrote her book in such a way that you can't get sidetracked. Her message and the scriptures to back up what she's saying are very powerful. I found myself easily flying through the book and learning a lot along the way. I told her this in person, but there were some chapters that left me hanging and wanting more. She assured me that this was purposeful and that she has more in store for the future. :)

If you're looking for a book that doesn't back down from the Word of God, and want your eyes opened to who God truly is, I would highly advise reading this. It's cleared up some things for me in my own life, and will do the same for you if you let it.
