While many may find this erotica great I thought it was a piece of drivel. First of all, if you crash and launch a locator beacon, why would you leave your ship to roam around on an uncharted planet? It would make much more sense to go if the ship was damaged beyond compare (it had self-repair systems that she thought might have been enough to repair it) and the beacon was damaged or wouldn't launch--all of this easily written into the story. Next, she is the first human to ever meet an alien yet she feels no fear or trepidation at all. Then we get to him. He is in desperate pursuit of a fugitive who is a mass murderer and a dangerous chameleon. Why in the world would he take on the dead weight of a alien he has no obligation to? She will just slow him down and endanger him by knowing nothing of stealth. Again, this could have been written in a more convincing manner. Then we get to the first time they have time alone. This is when the not-so-hot erotica comes out, and it's badly written too. Here is one of the over-the-top and completely laughable passages:
"You can't take me yet. You need to be prepared."
She arched a brow. "How do you do that?"
"We need to ensure that your p@ssy is soft and has maximum elasticity." The words were oddly arousing despite their scientific sound, which was a bit jarring under the circumstances.
She bit her lip. "How long does that take?"
"No more than several minutes and several orgasms."
This is after they have had five pages of foreplay. So, yeah, the plot is just a framework for them to bang each other. If it had been better written maybe I would have stayed with it but, with a lot of other things waiting in my queue to read, I turned it in KU and moved on.

I'm glad this was on KU and I didn't actually pay for it because this book just wasn't for me. I was bored the majority of the time, constantly questioning everyone's choices, actions and reactions and I honestly feel like I should have skipped this one.

Nuestra protagonista es una de las primeras científicas en explorar realmente el espacio de la especie humana, ya no solo teorizar como pueden ser otros planetas y mundos si no que ahora pueden viajar a esos planetas con sus lanzadoras. Lo que menos espera ella es encontrarse con una serie de problemas en su primera misión.
¿Que posibilidad hay de que los datos se mezclen y la manden al planeta incorrecto? Al parecer mucha en un planeta al que no estaba asignada y mucho menos preparada esta ahora con el problema mayor que su nave esta rota y quien sabe cuanto tiempo le tomara al sistema repararla. Ella no se desanima y empieza a explorar el planeta.
El caza recompensas no espera encontrarse a una humana del planeta Tierra en su misión de encontrar a una peligrosa fugitiva de la galaxia. El destino los pone juntos y el sabe que ella es mas que una atracción física que siente por ella sabe que es su única y no le importa nada la opinión que la matriarca de su familia a la que nunca a llevado la contra no la apruebe es suya y se la quedara.
El primer contacto que los humanos tienen con los Alienes no es lo que esta Doctora tenia en mente.

Decent not amazing nor bad. I wished their were more couples moments like rather than a time jump and from anothers pov while that was cute it wouldve been nicer to see them do the bond mate ceremony and her meet his family we know nothing of her life on earth or if she ever plans on going back for at the very least a visit o if she even can due to the alliance laws or whatever im amssuming has largely prevented aliens who clearly know what humans are but largely steer clear and havent all run over their to sell them as slaves idk i wish their as a first book in a large series wouldve been a bit more establishment of the universe to get a sense of the environment and rules like are the alliance protecting primitive earth they know so much about as to be able to translate their languages? Or what? Idk there were some things that irked me but there were also quite a few cute moments. Yeah shame we didnt get to see their pregnancy and if their baby looked like her or him or whatever all the cool stuff of his world more of his culture etc. It does mention a princess jory which is apparently eluding to a human a few centuries back who ended up on his planet married to a prince which is how he knew they could breed but like i shouldnt have to read a another book thats set in time before this one to get a decent amount of info about the alien dude. I mean other than the eating food we learned nothing and even that was pretty slim on anything of merit like i get their situation probably didnt have a lot of time for teach the human but yeah its a book if they have time for other things like walking all over the place instead of staying inside a safe ship where the mass killing sociopath cant get them and will likely investigate anyway then they have time to talk basic stuff. Including their personal backgrounds the only reason we know alien dude has any family is his own thoughts which he didnt share with her. Yeah just need more couple and more culture sharing.

Sweet romance story set in a galaxy far way.
Ellie is an exo-geologist on a mission to a do survey on a recently discovered planet.
Zyan is a bounty hunter after a criminal that escaped en route to her execution.
These two collide when Ellie's ship crashes down on the wrong planet. The same planet that Zyan is currently on attempting to capture a criminal who escaped en route to her execution.
While I found both characters likeable and fun travel companions. I was never truly sold on their attraction to each other. For some reason the sparks didn't translate for me.
The action part of the story was an enjoyable read and I definitely cheered the MCs on.

This book was interesting. The heroine, Ellie is an exo-geologist. She works for a company that is set to explore various planets for human habitation. Her shuttle is programmed with the wrong landing coordinates. It suffers a crash landing. She is outside her ship when she sees an alien coming toward her. It is the hero, Zyan. He is something of a bounty hunter and is searching for a Sibian crime lord. This crime lord is dangerous, something of a chameleon and female. It is during this search that they fall in love. There are twists and turns that were a surprise and made the book enjoyable. They are able to resolve their issues and have a happily ever after.

Nothing Special
Read this story rather quickly. I was surprised by the book, as it was not as interesting as others I have read from this series. The storyline was alright, although a bit thin on depth. Character development was not gone into in great detail. It was a typical boy (alien) meets girl (human), falls in love while chasing the bad guy (female alien who could turn into whatever she wanted to and was dangerous). Hero rescues heroine, etc, etc, and , well you read it and find out.
Good light summer reading for the beach.

This was okay. Dr. Ellie was given the wrong information on the planet she was supposed to collect samples on. Trying to make lemonade out of limes she decided to collect samples anyway only to land in the middle a alien hunt. Zyan is trying to recapture a dangerous alien when Ellie accidently stumbles across her and gets injured. Zyan saves her life and then has to rescue her again. It was okay but could've been better.

Just to short to give this story the depth and justice it could have used.
Good if simple plot but a few hiccups that were missed.
Likeable characters but I was left feeling like I didn’t know them. More background and a nice epilogue of their baby and what they decide to do in the future would have been nice.

hmm so many things wrong with this book.
no chemistry whatsoever between the two mcs.
out of the blue this 'being' appears on board the ship giving instructions to zyan on where ellie is. utterly ridiculous.
the pace is wrong for the book and it has no soul, its all very superficial. the characters are just not believable and it just jarred the whole way through.
do not like this writing style at all
disappointing

Great story of eco-geologist Ellie who works for a corner cutting cheap firm who ends up sending her to the wrong planet for her research. There she makes first contact with an alien, Zyan, a bounty hunter chasing Aladrina, a cybian crime lord and slave trader. They join forces and face obstacles from the evil, evasive Aladrina. It is a quick, easy read - romantic, sexy and delightful. Great job!

Far better than the first read/listen from thus author. I found Ellie to be smart and non typical Earthling. She was curious by nature and open minded. Zyan was interesting. Golden scaly skin, pale hair, and those eyes. He was a tracker. She was a scientist. This was a beginning for me.
Narration was good but not gooooooood. This audio was of much better quality.

This is the first book for me by Aurelia Skye and what an enjoyable listen it was. I read and listen to a great deal of books so it was nice to listen to one that was a little different from all the others. I did like the way the dating agency worked, a nice twist.
Of course Meghan did an awesome job with the narration she has a great voice to listen to.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE AUDIOBOOK VERSION
Short but interesting, good action and a bit steamy, characters easy to follow. Narration was good but I think the use of multiple narrators would have added to the performance. I'm giving this 3 stars because I did enjoy it. But it was a quick and dirty (not that kind of dirty) story, with little development. Not a bad way to kill some time, but nothing I'm going to remember either.

That Commander is such an asshole and I don't know why enough staff make a complaint against him since it's obvious he's crooked & care more about lining his pockets than the reason everyone is out there in the 1st place.

This is a good, short, sexy science fiction romance. Kellie and Zyan are fated mates, but actually they have been set up by the Celestial Mating Agency. I would have liked more back story, but this is a short read. Too short in my opinion, it could have been better. It is still definitely worth reading, I would recommend it to anyone who likes short sci-fi romance.

I really liked Wrong Place Right Mate. First the SciFi is realistic, Earth is finally exploring space, and of course we're mostly unprepared. I would hope we would send someone as smart and self assured as Ellie. She and Zyan make one heck of a team. He's a good tracker, but I was surprised by his rule following. The overarching theme of Celestial Mates is a draw too, leading to more hot stories, yea!

I quick fun read for me and a great little story that leads to more I hope to enjoy with this series for Celestrial mates. We meet Dr. Ellie Wright, a exo-geologists traveling in space towards a set destination, only to find that with her superiors cutting corners, she's somewhere else. Making the most of her time she sets about to look around.
She meets Zyan, a tracker/bounty hunter looking for an escaped alien crime lord/lady - Aladrina. Both are curious about the other and end up on their journey together. Ellie has a nasty meeting with the alien woman and is soon being well protected by Zyan. It was fun reading their thoughts, as they get to know each other and a relationship forms between the two.
There are a few more adventures/hiccups along the way to their eventual happiness and you will enjoy if you have a liking of the SciFi paranormal romance. This will not disappoint. :) I now look forward to more in this series. Thank you for the gifted copy that I am always happy to give my open and honest review for. :)

Ellie is an exo geologist sent to survey a newly found planet. When she arrives in orbit she finds out that somehow the wrong data is in her computer or she is on the wrong planet. Her ship is programmed to land on the planned planet and ends up crashing since the landing data is incorrect. While Ellie takes stock of the situation, she meets Zyan. He at first thought she was his bounty hunting target. He is happily surprised by Ellie.
Zyan is the best bounty hunter and is on an important mission to re-capture an alien who has kill thousands of beings. After meeting Ellie, he is tempted to give up the hunt to spend time with Ellie. Instead he takes her with him on his hunt.
This was a good story with lots of action and surprises. Ellie adjusts very well to the fact of aliens around her and is enthusiastic on being with Zyan.
Zyan is the best bounty hunter and is on an important mission to re-capture an alien who has kill thousands of beings. After meeting Ellie, he is tempted to give up the hunt to spend time with Ellie. Instead he takes her with him on his hunt.
