Rate this book
Lisette is a flawless beauty with a keen business sense. As head fashion designer for an elite firm, she has no time for drama. Besides, her co-worker and friend, Marlene, fills her in on enough drama to last her whole day.
Marlene's married to an attractive philanderer named Steve. She wants to divorce him, but there are complications in doing so. If she were to actually catch him cheating on her, then all of those other complications would go away. But how? A setup, of course. A business deal is made, and Lisette, the Home Wrecker, is born.
Three years later, Lisette has made a career out of helping wealthy wives stick it to their controlling, soon-to-be ex-husbands. A job like this is not only stressful but very dangerous, so her clientele is kept very exclusive. When a mysterious caller says she needs help or else bad things will start to happen, there is more at stake than possible exposure... Lisette might get a taste of her own medicine.

This was a really good book. Lisette was a beast. She was handling her business all the time. She also was a very lonely and cold person. There were times that I admired her and then other times where I felt sorry for her. I would recommend this book. Great job Dwayne S. Joseph.

"See, men are simple. They do all of their rationalization with their *****, and think that because God gave them chest hair, they're supposed to be the dominant ones." - Lisette

Meet Lisette, a hardworking head fashion designer for an elite firm. Lisette has it all - beauty, brains, and business sense. When Lisette's co-worker, Marlene expresses anger with her husband cheating ways - Lisette comes up with plan that will give Marlene exactly what she needs. Lisette learned from an early age that all it took to get what she wanted was... "a subtle, seductive smile, a sexy gaze, or a you-know-you-want-it stance.. (page 9). Happy with the results, Lisette decides to become a HOME WRECKER full-time.

Everything is smooth sailing until Lisette receives an anonymous phone call from someone who threatens to expose her Home Wrecker ways unless she is helped. Lisette who is used to being in control doesn't like anyone telling her what she will or will not do. The anonymous caller refuses to take No for an answer and decides to give Lisette a little taste of her own medicine. Lisette finds out KARMA is a B*TCH!! Will Lisette finally give in to the mysterious caller demands? Will Lisette find out who is behind the phone calls before its too late?

This is the first book I have read from Dwayne S. Joseph and I could kick myself for not reading this book sooner. This book had me at "HELLO" - it was very fast paced - never a dull moment... If you think you know what a HOME WRECKER is.. Think Again!!

What price for freedom?

Hebrews 13:4 ESV

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

What do you do when you suspect your husband is cheating on you? What happens when you know for sure? Do you risk all and divorce him? Or do you suffer in silence? But what would you do if there was a service offered to assist you in your decision? Would it be worth bringing someone in on an already broken situation when you know the inevitable?

Meet Lisette, even the name sounds sexy. This sultry well-endowed female is use to men finding her attributes irresistible, and now she offers her services to help those in need. Lisette is embarking on a new career of helping women out of their infidelity situations, but at a price.

But what happens when the player gets played and the tables are turned, and the “good deeds” of her new lucrative career faces an out of control spiral?

Mr. Joseph offers us an interesting take on the subject of fidelity, infidelity and divorce. If you’re looking for a book filled with drama, manipulation and greed, Home Wrecker gives you this and more. Good job Mr. Joseph, good job indeed!

Dwayne has done it again. I couldn't put this book down for nothing. This book was a totally page turner.

Lisette is a home wrecker. Rich women come to her to help them get evident that they man is cheating for thousands of dollars. She started off just by helping a co-worker Marlene and then it turned into her helping Marlene's friend Lisa then it turn into a business with herself and Marlene.

2nd read 1/2024 3 ⭐

But, then a call comes from a crazy woman that want to trap her husband that isn't a cheater but, Lisette can't get over how this woman is on the phone she put her at uneasy so Lisette says no.

Next thing Lisette does is go and tell the womans husband after the woman Kyra threatern to tell the husbands of the wives what she done.

So Kyra set out to get back at Lisette by messing up her home, then telling the husbands and then having her beating and rape. But, at the end Lisette gets back at Kyra.

Overall book was great. Can't wait to read Betrayal :)

Use What You Got,

Dwayne Joseph delivers a provocative novel about one woman's need for control. Manipulation and control is a way of life for Lisette. And she's paid well to do just that - manipulate and control. You see, Lisette is a Home Wrecker. That's her occupation. She's paid to "assist" unhappily married women by bettering their situations. But when she meets a potential client who knows the game of manipulation and control oh so well too, will the best woman win?

With "Home Wrecker," author Dwayne Joseph has concocted a quick, easy and enjoyable read. "Home Wrecker," as its title implies, has drama for you. Easily recommendable.

Ths book was REALLY good. The storyline was so different than what someone would expect if they're just judging by the title. The author's style of writing was very original, unlike most "urban" books I've read. My only complaint is that it was such a quick read. I would've liked more. I liked main character Lisette's confidence and no-nonsense attitude. Now this is a book that should have a sequel!

This was my second read by Dwayne S. Joseph and I actually really enjoyed it! For being an older book, this book could still be considered relevant even here in 2023. Lisette was a bad bitch and I absolutely loved her character. She was authentic and stayed true to herself throughout, which I think is the main reason I really was in touch with this book. I've got to say I was not a fan of the ending, it seemed way too rushed and not realistic after the trauma Kyra caused to her, but overall it was very enjoyable and had me hooked throughout!

This book was so easy to read. The story along with the characters pulled you in immediately. Lisette, the main character was multi-dimensional. You didn't like her but you couldn't help but to respect her and her abilities. This is the first book that I have read from this author and I am anxious to see what else the author has up his sleeves.

Omg... 😲 😱 😲 😱 😲

Phenomenal creativity in an unbelieve, shockingly violent, and utterly twisted novel. The writing techniques, styles, and design of each character were beyond compelling...

This rare story was so uniquely captivating... I read it in less than an hour. I love the fierce strength, resilience, and determination 💜 Lisette ensured.

Highly recommended

It was okay. I am not an advocate for destroying the lives of others. It was hard to feel sorry for Lisette when she wreaked havoc on others. However, I didn't feel bad for Kyra either.

Smooth plot. It was a little too narrow for me.

& the victim having more men rape & kill... Was a little too much for especially-- nevermind.

But it was a good read

My Regards,

Lisette, thanks to daddy dearest, realized that her budding body yielded men speechless. When her unremitting control issues alter her career path, Lisette uncovers a fulfilling void that she never knew existed. Lisette’s new job involves destroying powerful marriages. While Lisette is no saint, she enjoys helping these women put themselves back together again.

It’s been three flourishing years. An unidentified caller is interested in Lisette’s discreet services. Unfortunately, her case is unlike any of the others and she doesn’t like the diagnosis. Is it an offer that Lisette can afford to refuse? Beaten and broken, she will have to fight to maintain the one with the power. Does she have the tenacity to do so?

HOME WRECKER by Dwayne S. Joseph was a powerful, entrancing read that I couldn’t put down! I was a little skeptical, because I’d read some of Dwayne’s work and it just wasn’t the type of writing I enjoyed. However, after speaking to La Jill Hunt, who kept saying HOME WRECKER was a must-read, I added it to my shelf. Glad I listened and I hope that we’ll get another peek soon.

Dwayne is such a talented writer and I can't wait to read more of his books! This book is hot. You'll need some ice to cool you down when you read this one!

Lisette got paid by women to set men up when they knew their man was fucking around with other women. She started by helping Marlene.

From page 25:
"You want me to fuck him?"
"Yes. And I want to walk in on it. I'll have someone with me. A witness. They won't know what's going on. I want to walk into my home and catch you with him. I want to see you riding him. Fucking asshole. I want him out of my life."

It was just supposed to be something she did one time, but it wasn't. Everything was going fine until Kyra came along. Krya wanted to make her life a living hell and expose the truth about what Lisette is doing.

There is a sequel to this book coming out and I can't wait to read it.

I was also amazed at how well Dwayne was writing from a women's point of view. Lisette was the one telling the story. I mean I can't even imagine who hard it is to write a book, but writing it from the point of view of the opposite sex would be really tough! This book was easy to read and kept me hooked!

This book's storyline was really intriguing to me. It all starts when Lisette is hired by a friend to expose her scumbag cheating husband. The set up works and Lisette starts getting paid by friends of friends to do the same thing to their husbands. All is good until Lisette refuses to do a job for a psychopath chick who's husband really isn't cheating and all hell breaks loose. This book has non stop drama and action and it was a very fast read for me. I really liked it overall and cannot wait to read the next book called Eye For an Eye. Dwayne is a really talented writer and the editing was also great, which is sometimes hard to find.

"Very Good" This was my first time reading this author. I was very surprised by this book because I was expecting the typical urban fiction novel. To me, it was not and I was real pleased. Lisette made her living as a home wrecker. She believed her mission was to help women take back "Control" from their men. Well that, and to rake in tons of dough while she's at it. But things soon get out control when a few people she's cross decides it's time she answer to her deeds. A recommended read. Will try other books by this author.

Out of this world! Non stop suspense and drama throughout and the main character is nuts! I read this in one evening mainly because I had trouble putting it down to go to sleep (something I DO NOT usually have trouble doing- with my love of sleeping!) I have to label this as a must read! Can't wait to get more by Dwayne S. Joseph!

I was presently surprised by this author, having never read any of his books. Cold, calculating, and interesting without being grimy or ghetto! Mr. Joseph said he challenges himself to improve his skills as a writer with each book. I'm looking forward to reading more of his works!
