Set in Shakespeare’s London, the plot revolves around the world of the Elizabethan theatre and a series of mysterious misfortunes that befall a troupe of actors. The lead characters, apprentice actors in the troupe, set out to solve the mystery and their adventure is one which will hook junior readers and leave them knowing a great about London at that time in the process.
I enjoyed the book, thought it well written and would be happy to read more by this author.
