Mandy Thorne thinks she’s just testing the new Intergalactic Dating Agency’s site when she pushes the initiate match button. The moment she does though, she discovers she’s just requested a super-hot alien be delivered to her doorstep the very next day. While Mandy’s excited about the sexy man she’s about to get, the strings attached are a different story.
Caiden TS-461 lands on Earth before he’s been properly trained for the culture, but as soon as he meets his human mate he’s willing to do whatever it takes to win her heart. When he breaks a rule to make Mandy happy, the pair end up back on planet Eroscia to face punishment for their crime, and the sentence could make Mandy resent him forever.
V. Vaughn is also known as Violet Vaughn and is a USA Today Bestselling author. Violet lives on an island in Maine and spends almost every day walking through the woods. She may have seen a bear once or twice....
Barely makes 2 stars. Loaded with typos and errors. Started off cute but quickly became boring. Very little intimacy. I can't say adult. Anyone over the age of 15 or 16 can read it easily as far as adult contents is concerned.
I've given this author enough tries & this one cinches it for me. All the books I own of hers is going into my 'Not for Me' shelf.
My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!! ***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I got a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book!
The cover looks cool!
This is the first book in this series, and it is for adults only due to the steamy content. This is a very quick read at only 55 pages.
I found the idea of this series very intriguing. I enjoyed this book and the humor involved with being compelled to click. Mandy is impulsive, but she is open to ideas because most people would be freaked out. Caiden starts out cavemanish, but he grows on you. I think anyone who enjoys Violet’s work will find an enjoyable story!
I recommend to Sci-fi fans who like romance with an alien partner mixed with some humor! I can’t wait to see what trouble Hunter cooks up!
In a (not-so-distant-future) half of the male population has been wiped out by a freak plague, leaving the unscathed women to fend for themselves to see to their sexual needs. Some use government approved toys, some settle for one-night stands...For the rest there's a new "exchange" program, still in beta-testing, to import males from a recently-appeared planet, Eroscia, where men are in abundance.
Mandy Thorne's best friend Lexi is the one in charge of beta-testing the new "dating app", but Mandy is the one that pushes the "initiate match" button while fiddling with it. The result: her future husband will be delivered to her doorstep the next morning. The caveat: no sex before the wedding.

The blurb with the rule-breaking and punishment-facing was promising, but unfortunately that happened in the last two chapters of this 11-chapter story. And even that wasn't as promising as the blurb might hint at.
But let's start at the beginning. The story is told from Mandy's (first-person) POV, but since Mandy sounded like a fifteen-year-old, I was the opposite of impressed. She was immature, abhorred getting bossed about by men (probably thanks to living in a women-ruled society), but had no qualms in bossing her hero around all the time. Even when he specifically told her they were breaking the rules, that there might be consequences, the entitled female simply waved her hand in that no-one-will-know-so-what-can-possibly-happen way.
Well, turns out they did know and something did happen. I wished for the punishment to be harsher (for Mandy, to teach her a much needed lesson), but unfortunately they both got it pretty easy.
Since the story was told from an immature chick's POV there was no possibility to actually get to know the hero, besides the fact he was apparently hot and had cool alien telekinetic ability to "touch" the heroine without actually touching her (in the end, he actually caressed her heart, which is either really gross, or cause for alarm, because it might've been a serious condition and not the touch of her alien, but I digress). He's also bossy and doesn't listen when someone warns him about imbibing too much. A typical male, then. And without personality. At least he knew English and didn't sound like an idiot.
So, we had an immature heroine (without much personality), a cardboard cutout of a hero (without personality), an uninteresting and rather redundant plot with absolutely no conflict despite what the blurb claims.
What a disappointing waste of nary an hour. If it were longer, it would be a DNF.
Mandy lives in a world where a virus wiped out most of the men. So when a planet appears to have mostly men it's a perfect chance for the two to mingle. One of Mandy's best friends is in charge of setting up a dating website but it's still in the beta process but Mandy accepts one of the alien men not knowing it would really work yet. Next thing she knows she's got a hot alien bride on the way. Can the two make it work without breaking the rules?
Mandy is what I would expect of a planet to be lacking male companions so when Caiden she's up being all male they are drawn to each other. I didn't love as I would have hoped since we share the same name. I found her a little one track and I think it bugged me that as soon as she had a man she was all about jumping his bones.
This one I wasn't sure about as but it's been ages since I read an alien romance and already had the kindle freebie. I think the concept is interesting seeking out life on a new planet because a sickness has wiped out all the men. I would like to know a little more about how the Earth has evolved by poor Mandy is only concerned with living with her new man. It's a quick steamy and a little cheesy romance. Perfect for those who are fans of alien romance. I didn't love it but it wasn't bad either just wanted more story.
Caiden: Greenville Mail Order Brides #1 Intergalactic Dating Agency Book 6 by V. Vaughn ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The storyline is interesting and exciting. I love reading V.Vaughn no matter genre she writes. This Sci-Fi romance is a unique storyline that captivates the reader’s attention. The characters are well developed and great; even the secondary characters makes the storyline captivating. I couldn't help but to keep turning the pages till I got to the end. I really enjoyed the beginning to the end, it never slowed the pace is just right. I like how V. Vaughn made it easier to relate to characters, V. Vaughn is really talented and creative author, she put a lot of imagination in this story. I also like that she made a Alien that I could easily fall in love with while reading this storyline. I want the readers to know how interesting, charming, enthralling the alien is and they won't be bored at all while reading this storyline. I hope the other readers can feel the main characters love and chemistry. Mandy Thorne is kind of strong willed and she want someone to love and cherish her, so signs up for the new Intergalactic Dating Agency, but she suppose to be just testing the site but she pushes the initiate match button by accident. So she gets Caiden TS-461 before he’s been properly trained.
I think this is a fantastic book that turned out to be totally, totally truly, truly delightfully awesome reading. It has all the the romance that Sci-Fi romance could want. I really loved this book I was surprised many times by the twists and turns in the story. I found myself so connected with everyone one of the characters in some way. I felt their emotions just as they did. There is a secondary character who I didn't like because it seems that they have a hidden personality but even that I want to read more of. I am intrigued, awed and excited to see another side of V.Vaughn. I admire her romance, sensual sexy scenes with scorching hot passion. Sometimes I feel it's the simplest thing on the planet, but I can always depend on V. Vaughn to give us readers simplistic love. We are allowed to grow, to be seduced, to slowly fall in love and that is a love that will last.
Highly recommended to my fellow readers who are interested in romance. Surely you will enjoy this one. If you believe in the world of paranormal romance, the possibilities are endless and fascinating!
A titillating tale that tells breaking the rules have consequences, brings out feelings you didn’t think existed, but in the end gives you the happy ever after that you thought you would never have. Alien magic, friendship, emotional moments, tender moments and hot sensuous romance capture and holds your attention until the end.
Some years ago a strange plague entered the world wiping out most of the male population. Now women on earth are missing male contact as there are few worthy males left to have fulfilling lasting relationships with. The government has formed an alliance with the alien planet Eroscia to have certain male candidates who meet the requirements for an earth/alien dating service. Lexi who has been working on this project shows the program to her best friends Eliza and Mandy. The plan is in the beta stages and Lexi has put her friend's profiles on the site to see who they could be matched with. Impulsive Mandy changes the name and profile of one of the male candidates who has caught her attention with his strikingly good looks. The push of a button changes her life.
The story is fast paced, well written and the author immediately hooks you with credible characters that come alive with quick-witted dialogue, intriguing plot, and power vivid scene descriptions. I really loved that this dating service had an alien twist; creative storyline. It would be fabulous if this was possible; I would definitely sign up. Caiden is buffed, intelligent, and has a romantic persona that makes you melt. Mandy is full of sass, beautiful and Caiden is thrilled to be with her. Their romance is certainly not boring and is filled with protection, devotion, and much passion. This was a most entertaining read; I loved it. I look forward to reading the next book in this dating series. In the world of fantasy romance, the magic begins with the first thought to paper. {I received an advanced reader copy of this book; I voluntarily did this review}. Without reservations, I recommend this book.
Regarding the Greenville series: I didn't care for the Greenville series, but I did really like the rest of the Intergalactic dating series much more. For Greenville, the female and male leads were (for me) unrelatably prissy, calling buttocks "bottoms", wine "tart" (unlikely as one of the female leads was a supposed food & lifestyle expert), very passive descriptions: "my physical desire for him increased", and quite a lot of frantic worrying about following the rules of various authorities. Not a lot of buildup on physical chemistry or passions getting out of control. Novella #1, they got carried away with passion a little bit --which was entertaining, even though the female lead was still too prissy to be likable. #2 &3: They all cohabited, and "merely" kissed (for WEEKS!) until they were married, and then had sex. (Completely passionless and negates the purpose of a romance novel.)
When you push a button by mistake and it lands you a sexy alien, what's a girl to do. Mandy and Caiden take you on an adventure as they discover themselves using a new dating system her friend designed. This is a cute short story that will keep your interest and make you want more. It is a recommended read
When Mandy checks out her friend's Alpha test sue for a new interplanetary dating service, she didn't expect it to be active when she clicks the match button. Next thing she knows, she's got an extremely hot alien living with her, and all they can do is kiss until they say "I do". Mandy doesn't believe in following the rules.
This is one of the worst shit stories I have read.Thankfully it was only 45 pages on my ereader and even then I had to torture my way through.Just because I really hate dropping mid story.Writing was just juvenile and infantile. Story itself is ridiculous or maybe it was execution that killed it.I will avoid this writer from now on as I have suffered enough.
Caiden(Greenville Mail Order Brides#1(Intergalactic Dating Agency Book 6) BY V.Vaughn
Fun little read about dating/mating alien males/earth females and heartwarming relationships between them developed. SO CHECK out for yourself and enjoy it too!
Choosing to read a book with this cover and this title, well, I deserve to feel like my brain should be washed out with soap, but I was desperate to find a "V" author. In case you haven't already figured it out-don't bother with this book!
3.5 STARS Earth is ruled by Women and men are the minority. Eroscia has the reverse problem with not enough women. Earth creates a dating app to match earth girls to the alien guys. This is the 1st of the series. These short & quick reads are sweet and slightly steamy.
This book is short, but it doesn't skimp on the details. It just moved along rather quickly. Caiden and Mandy have a lot to work on, but they are perfect together!
Quick read, good for a filler until you choose your next book. I wasn’t expecting the detailed sex scenes (not sure why I wasn’t) but wanted to mention it. Don’t go in with expectations and you won’t be disappointed. Not the best but definitely not the worst.
Really good, short story. I read it in one evening. It was hot and steamy. I liked Caiden and his mature character. I recommend this book. I will read the rest stories with pleasure.
Quick...kinda boring. I found Mandy obnoxious. Caiden was boring. Book 1 was free...Book 2 has higher ratings but I'm not sure I'm impressed with the writing style enough to buy it.
