The purpose of this book is to reclaim parts of ourselves that we have lost or set aside. The process provides tools to identify our true emotions and needs, deal with our emotional losses, and find the resources to heal, use our energy wisely, make healthy choices, experience significant learning, and develop action plans for long-lasting change.

Participated as one of the test communities for the book with my work in Akron OH and the Bridges Summit County initiative. A great addition to Getting Ahead and should be seen as an add on....not a stand alone module. Recommended to be used by social workers and counselors as the amount of baggage folks bring to light working through this can be staggering.
