Ben’s enemies know where he is, and they’re coming.
After a month of nothing happening, he is more than ready to face them, no matter what the outcome. He’s wanted justice for his mother’s murder, and to find out the truth of his life.
But when the enemy finally does show up, they are much more powerful than he could have imagined. How can he along with a pack of werewolves, a witch, and a newbie vamp measure up to that? He just isn’t sure if he’s going to make it out of this one.
Note: This is the conclusion to the five book series.
I've been an avid book reader since I was a teenager in the 1980's. My preferred genre's are science fiction and fantasy.
I wrote some short stories and was encouraged to try writing and self publishing by some friends. I work in computers and writing is an obsessive hobby I have been trying to hone for a couple of years now. I'll let you judge if I have succeeded or not.

4.0/5.0 Just wanted to make a couple of notes about the series in general here. First off I do like how the author hung the story up before we get tired of the characters. I actually thoroughly enjoyed myself reading this. As a whole I would say the series hovered between 3.5 and 4.0 for me. Would recommend it if you enjoy anything from John Conroe.
This was a decent ending to the series and at least it finally explained Aitheria’s reluctance to help Ben understand his powers and why he was being pursued. I gave the previous books three stars because although I quite enjoyed them, I also got a bit frustrated with not knowing some of the background to Ben’s problems and there was the author's obsession with constantly describing attractive women. Overall this was an enjoyable and interesting series and I have given it four stars.
So I reviewed the first book and just rated the middle books of the series but felt that I should take the time to review the series as a whole in case someone happened to come across this book first. If that's the case, I highly recommend that you go get a copy of the first book and read the series straight through from beginning to end. It won't disappoint. The characters are well developed as is the plot and will hold your attention throughout if this kind of fantasy appeals to you. As for me, I am off to check out some of the author's other work.
Liked this part of the story but don't care for the way Ben's part in the series ended. Most everything changed for Ben and there's no resolution to the changes. He's supposed to be less somehow? His relationship with Ria is even more impossible to understand? Things are left as, if not more, unstable. We don't get to see Ben get to version 2.0 or what that even is. So, I guess I can give Book 5 a 4, but I'm leaving a virtual 1 star for a missing Book 6.
The mystery of who and why the main enemy is after Ben is finally revealed! And, it's kind of, but not exactly, what I'd been anticipating, which was a nice surprise.
There are some interesting battles and all of the main questions are answered.
I do wish this series would continue, but I understand the author not wanting to drag things out further. And, he has a new series in the same world I'm going to read next. 😊
I really enjoyed this series. The hero was so relatable. I enjoyed how you wrote him as a humble person despite having great power. The fact he used his powers to help protect children made me feel so joyous. Looking forward to reading your other work. Thanks again for a great read.
Really enjoyed this series. If you love books where the lead character is on a journey of self discovery, with an interesting story feeding the development. This is a brilliant series to read.
The series was fantastic. Great characters and a great storyline. Lots of cool action. The only suggestion I would make is to remove all the time stamps on each chapter. Also the five books should really only be 2 books in total.
Good book to read. Liked the author and eneded everything with an explanation. No cliffhangers per se. Good, simple read. I like the series. I read it on Kindle unlimited but will buy the series.its a good clean book, a player refresher after a reading hangover
This should have been two books word count wise. This story was a very interesting entertaining fast paced action packed story that I really enjoyed reading.
This was a book book from beginning to end. I’m a little sad the story ended but I’m glad it ended on a good note rather than losing steam and suffering. Good job.
