Woody Allen once said that Show Business is "worse than Dog Eat Dog--it's Dog Doesn't Return Other Dog's Phone Calls." Peter Bart's story-collection illustrates this world well. A crisp, bitchy and delicious read.

I feel guilty that I enjoyed this, but Peter Bart has a heart. Clever to place all the players in an upscale development, so both LA worlds of the Industry and Real Estate are interwoven.
