Breaking Point

Rate this book
Friday, December 18th, 2015 was the Breaking Point.

We hear with increasing frequency, reports of mass shootings or terrorist activities on American soil. Don’t you get tired of the media sensationalizing everything? Do you hate how the police have their hands tied on how they can react, by politicians who are more worried about political correctness, and getting re-elected? Don’t you fantasize about just giving the bad guys what they have coming to them? That’s what this story is about. It’s guaranteed to offend the crap out of some people! It’s not illegal to fantasize in this country… Yet.

Not politically correct!

Finally. A book that calls out how others have the audacity to call people racists and bigots. Great story. I literally could not put the book down.

Loved the woman wanted ad. Must not be afraid to date a guy who thinks Ted Nuggent should be President. Classic.

Another outstanding story from Boyd Craven. He has quickly become one of my favorite authors in the dystopian/prepping genre. I started this book before lunch and finished it while at work this evening. I've already downloaded Book 2 in the series.

Reading this book less than 3 weeks after the Pulse/Orlando terrorist attack and one day after the terrorist attack at Ataturk Airport in Turkey, the story line could have been ripped from the daily news.

A BCJ. SYFY. Novel (AJB. -1)/An Assualt/3 Deaths/A Move/Murder

BCJ. has. penned a SYFY. novel. that has taken current events and turned them into SYFY facts. This novel is an eye opener and at the same time a warning of how things may be in the near future. It is obvious the writer has military or law enforcement experience or is in close contact with one or more people who have the experience. The details in the novel are an exception to the rule. Very little is false other than the reader should be aware the story is false. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

I can only say that I am looking forward to the next book which I will begin reading as soon as this review is posted. So many of us can find ourselves in this book - not necessarily the characters, but in the feelings that we have when we watch the news and see the network controlling interests dictate how stories spin out. How we wish there really was justice instead of political correctness. How we wish those that perpetrated crimes were exposed and punished accordingly. How self-defense should be seen as just that. Not for the faint of heart.

Oh Boy! The PC Police are going to have a Fit

As much as the PC police with throw a fit. This was a good read. Let’s face it, there are people in this country who are just fed up. If you think it can’t happen here, watch the news, see Europe! The difference in Immigration and refugees.

This is a great book! It’s scary to think that this stuff happens more and more each day. It feels like this story is more non-fiction with everything that you see in the news and on the internet daily. I’m excited to read the next in the series.

Breaking Point

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fairly quick read but it delves into some crazy deep issues. I would imagine most people who's ideology is on the "left side" wouldn't enjoy it. If you lean to the right, this is probably more your entertainment.

The writing, plot, and characters are four stars. The testicular fortitude to write a such a politically incorrect book in a politically fraught time deserves five stars. Keep it up, y'all!

Two Middle Eastern attackers exit an SUV and murder most of the 150 men, women and children attending and participating in a church nativity play. Computer hacker Dharma loses three family members but has little faith in getting justice and decides to get payback in a different way. She investigates and hacks into the ATM camera across from the church and then sees the same vehicle outside a local gun store. She decides to contact the owner Mike to see if he wants payback too for the terrorists buying their murder weapons in his shop, along with hiring men to gain revenge on the terrorists.

The idea was good in theory as a lot of angry people long to get revenge when their loved ones are killed in terror attacks, so I was interested to see where this story would go. I didn't much like Dharma, whose thirst for revenge leads to other people being put in danger. Will works at Mike's gun store and gets into a violent conflict outside with a pro jihadi protester that leads to him being investigated for murder after Mike rescues him. Despite being cleared Will has to run a gauntlet of hate and go into hiding while a furious Mike realises that terrorists did invade his store for evil purposes. He is happy to involve his friends, a shadow group for hire who are happy to hunt down the terrorists for Dharma. However, I found the whole thing to be a bit over-the-top and not the most interesting plot and characters to read about. I ended up really annoyed by the unsatisfying ending, which only seems to prove that getting revenge leads to other innocents being hurt. I hated the ending! It did not make me want to read on.

Sentiment

I understand the sentiment. I agree with the premise that folks like me are disgusted by the media and political victimization of identity and religious groups. I completely understand the anger about the taking of innocent life, but I completely disagree with vigilantism. I swore to uphold and defend the Constitution; all of it. Disagreement and anger are close relatives. Lack of judgment tracks through much of this narrative and the anger of the vigilantes trumps judgment and stomps all over the rule of law. Contrary to the intended creation of "heroes", the vigilantes seem like thugs to me.

A Must Read!

2:32 AM. If you've ever been frustrated by the pc attitude of the media, talk shows and even the president about muslims, this book reads like good Americans think. These characters do exactly what we silently wish we could. This story shows what if feels like to be tried and convicted in the public "opinion" for defending yourself. But it also lets us imagine how payback by some very skilled hero's could happen. Very entertaining. Makes you thin, if only. There's not enough stars for this storyline. Knew to book 2.

A new series that jumps right into it. Tragic, frustrating, and realistic as it deals with the start of a terrorist incident and the automatic blame from the media slants and authorities. It is frighteningly prophetic how such an event could enflame the population. But it is reassuring that the silent majority don't just take it lying down.

Well written and engrossing. I look forward to the next book in this 'Anonymous Justice' series!

GREAT BOOK

Just finished this book a minute ago, and I'm still blown away. What a great story to begin with in a series. Amazing storylines, well written characters, plausible scenario's. Bone chilling action, heart wrenching losses. Unbelievable it took me so long to find these books

How far will the American public allow the radical faction to go before taking the fight to them. Time to fight fire with fire!

Some of this is a little hard to swallow as a likely type of real possibility. But not too bad.

Interesting

New take on fighting back. I hate the thought that it might be going down this path! Good characters and an interesting plot.
